Fluttering by to say~Guest Designer~Sherrie

Hi Everyone!
It's Sherrie again with my final GD project for Trendy Twine~It has been so fun and such
an honor to be on the Trendy Twine blog the last few days! I hope you have enjoyed my projects and have been inspired :)

Today I made a pretty gift box and matching card for a friend of mine who has a birthday right around the corner. I used both Tickled Pink and Limeade Trendy Twine for my project. I used a cut file for the 3D petal box that I found at the Silhouette Store. The lovely tendril die and Art Philosophy cartridge was used to create the leaves. I added a cute twine bow using both colors of twine and then a paper flower to the center.

I used a mix of dies and coordinating stamps from My Creative Time for the matching card. I just love how Trendy Twine offers such a wide variety of colors that coordinate perfectly with any project you are creating~

I {heart} you~Guest Designer~Sherrie

Hello!
It's Sherrie from Sherrie Scraps with Passion again with another GD project to
share with you today~
I hope you like yesterdays Valentine's Day treat...here is another idea for one:)

I started with this adorable chevron bag that I found at the Trendy Twine Store!! Yup, they don't just sell twine here at Trendy Twine, they have an assortment of other fun items to for our crafty needs!

I got this super cute cut file free from Too Cute by Jessica and thought it would be perfect to adhere on top of this fun bag. I stamped a sentiment to the center of the heart.  I then added tiny little twine bows using Tickled Pink Trendy Twine to these cuties.
Aren't they sweet?

I wrapped Krafty Red Trendy Twine around the chevron bad, adding a fun little button and tied a bow. I filled the bag with yummy candy, closed it with a little red paper clip from my stash and tied on another krafty red twine bow to finish.

I added a cute little mouse which is from Kadoodle Bug Designs. I stamped the sweet face using Peachy Keen stamps and of course, I had to give the mouse a Trendy Twine bow, right?! The sentiment is stamped which is from Jaded Blossom and viola, done!

You're My Most Favorite....{Valentine's Day Candy Tin}

Good Morning Trendy Twiners!!!!
Jessica here from Chick-n-Scrap
and I am so excited to be sharing another project with you all!

Have you started making Valentine's Day treats yet?
Need some more inspiration??
I have another fun gift giving idea to share using a Candy Tin and the newly released Pinkberry Sorbet Trendy Twine!
These Candy Tin's from the Trendy Twine store are perfect for adding wrapped chocolate nuggets. I was able to fill my tin with 12 chocolates, wrapping each one in a piece of 1x3" designer paper from We Are Memory Keepers. Next to decorate the outside of the  tin, I wrapped a piece of beautiful White 7/8" Embroidery Satin Ribbon around the tin and tied it in a bow.
For my sentiment, I used both a stamp set and some dies from My Creative Time. I wanted to add more than just a twine bow to hold my tag onto my tin, so I die cut a small heart into the top layer of my tag. Next using small pieces of Pinkberry Sorbet Trendy Twine, I added them to the back of my twine so it covered the entire die cut.  The color of the twine fills the die cut so beautifully, don't you think??? This is one of my favorite techniques when playing around with my twine.
To finish off my project, I tied the tag onto the ribbon using a double bow of Pinkberry Sorbet Trendy Twine  and added some matching enamel dots.

I think You're Cool

It's Tammy, and I have a sweet little Valentine card to share with you as I used some yummy Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine. I can't get enough of it!
I started this card by piecing together Valentine patterned paper which I framed to a piece of red cardstock; then layered to black cardstock.  Where the two patterned papers meet, I wrapped a length of of black, gingham ribbon around the card front which I tied in a bow;  I embellished my ribbon treatment further with a cream velvet bow, Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine and a red heart button.
I die-cut two layering hearts which I stamped a sentiment in cranberry ink at an angle. The cute little penguin was stamped on it's coordinating die-cut in black ink and popped up with foam mounting tape on the layering heart combo. A few sequins and a stamped heart was added, but the finishing touch for this focal image was trimming it in Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine before adding it to the card front. Lastly, I had a snippet of crochet trim from my stash which I intertwined with Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine before adding it to the top edge of the card.

A Cherry Cupcake Treat!

Hello, Trendy Twiners!
It's Millie, from Crafting with Creative M, and its my day to post!
Today's project will showcase the yummy Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine and the Shorty Candy Chutes.

For my 1st project, if you remember, I used this adorable printable Panda from F. Bloom on a post for our Crafting Inspiration week.
Well, I just had to use it on my Valentine's Day card.
I was looking to add a little fun touch to my Panda so I cut out several layers on my Cricut Explore and used 3-d pop dots for a dimensional & fun look.
I added rhinestones, a polka dot heart, a fun border and stamped the "Happy Valentine's Day" sentiment by MCS.
I then, made & tied a bow with the Yummy Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine.

For my 2nd project, I showcased the super fun Shorty Candy Chutes.
I decorated it with my Crate Paper scraps.
For my heart, I used the Sweethearts cartridge.
I then made 2 holes in the center with my whole puncher and inserted the yummy Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine, which I made & tied a bow.
And of course I had to fill my Shorty Candy Chute with Hershey's Kisses!

Here is a look at the yummy Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine!

There's No Teacher I Love Smore Than You (& Winner Announcement)

Hello everyone!
It's Tammy here, and I am happy to share with you a little gift I put together for my son to give to his teacher that incorporates some Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine

I have this crazy obsession with mason jars and giving gifts in them. I love to go to old Antique Shops and find old bottles especially old Mason jars. I get more excited if I find old Aqua ones. Now those I keep selfishly! Today I have a brand new jar that I have cleaned out, but I did shabby it up a bit.

I spray painted the top and set to dry. Once dry, I used my sanding block to give it a little bit of a rustic/shabby feel. I then hit it with some spray adhesive and added some chunky glitter.  I forgot to get a photo of the top, but I added some paper from Fleurette Bloom's Hearts A Flutter Paper Pack. I added the contents inside to make Smores and closed the lid lastly wrapping the lid with some Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine!

For the jar, I took some red seam binding and wrapped it around the jar and tied a fluffy bow adding a bright pink button in the middle laced with Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine for an embellishing touch.

I added a white paper doily to the center as a backdrop for my sentiment that was computer generated and printed out on papers also from Fleurette Bloom's Hearts A Flutter Paper Pack. For a little extra fun touch, I added more Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine around the sentiment.

Good morning!  Beth with you today to share these fun Valentine treats.
I created a holder for the Biggie Candy Chutes and used the sweet Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine for embellishing.

Planner Friday - January

Hello!  Welcome to the first Planner Friday of the year!  I am Amanda from She's Eclectic and once a month I share my ideas for prettying up your planner.

The start of a new year is when a lot of people make a resolution to get more organised and using a diary or planner is the perfect way to start.  I get bored with plain pages in my Filofax so I like to decorate them and make them more fun.  I start with choosing a washi tape and adding a strip of it to the top and bottom of the page and then I use my Trendy Page Dots reinforcements for another pop of colour.  Annies Paper Boutique has a range of planner stamps which I love using as they look so neat and tidy, they also save me from having to write the same reminders over and over each week.  Lastly I add some stickers to complete the look but I make sure I leave enough space just in case I need to write a note or add to my to do lists.

Annie's Paper Boutique products used this week:

Another resolution people make at this time of year is to get more healthy and I am one of them.  I never drink the recommended eight glasses of water a day so I decided I was going to try and change that habit this year.  In the Drinks & More stamp set there is a Hydrate stamp and an Am/Pm one too so I am using these to record my water intake.  If I drink three glasses of water in the morning I check the box and if I drink three in the afternoon I check the pm box.  I'm trying to build it up to eight glasses but for now six will do.

Hydrate and Am/Pm stamps in use

This is how my week is shaping up now, as you can see I also use my diary pages to record how I have been feeling using some journalling stamps.  I like selecting the stamp that best reflects my day and they don't take up much room on the page.  I find it quicker and easier than trying to write about my day!

My week so far

If you have brought yourself a new planner or were given one for Christmas why don't you take a look at the store and see what goodies take your fancy?

I will be back in February with a new post, I hope to see you then!

Filled with Love

This is Sukie and I have a Valentine's project to share.  The trendy gals have been showcasing the gorgeous Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine and the Biggie Candy Chutes from Annie's Paper Boutique. It has been so gloomy in Northern California for the past week I wanted to create something that reminds me of Spring and warmth.
For my project I created this large flower from the Flower Shoppe cartridge and added a sparkly gem to the center.  The flower was tied to the top of the candy chute.
The twine was wrapped around the candy chute as an accent and then tied to the tag.  The tag came from my stash and was stamped with a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Filled with Love stamp set.  I added some washi tape along the top and bottom of the tag and accented it with some pink sequins also from Annie's Paper Boutique.
Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to check out Annie's Paper Boutique for all of the fun products for Valentine treats!
