Trendy Bakers Twine -- Ho Ho Ho Treats

Hello all.  I'm Helen from HTB Creations. I made a few Christmas Treats today using Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine, Biggie Glassine Envelopes, Hello Santa Stamp Set, Tag-Its, Trendy Page Dots and Peppermint Icicle Sequins.

I purchased a few little candies for my treats. One has small peppermint patty candy and the other is a wrapped peppermint candy.  Next I stamped my Tag-Its with the Hello Santa Stamp.  I found a cute little Santa hat to die cut.  I added a bit of snow marker and puffed that up.

To finish it off, I added the Trendy Page Dots and my Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine and the fun Peppermint Icicle Sequins. Just a quick and easy treat package to put together!

Trendy Bakers Twine -- Aloha!

Hello everyone! I'm Helen from HTB Creations and I'm starting this month off with a fun Aloha treat box.  Who doesn't wish for summer right now and somewhere at the beach?  I used Lemon Tart Trendy Twine, the Mini Kraft Take Out Box, a White Tag-It, a Trendy Page Dot and a sequin from Lemon Tart Sequins.

I put some mini peanut butter cups in my Mini Kraft Take Out Box. Next, I wanted to use this fun pineapple paper.  I cut out sections and taped them together. You can see a bit of a line in the picture below. But I matched them up pretty well and it looks good.

Then I decorated my White Tag-It with a cute pineapple stamp that had a die, stamped my sentiment, and added a Lemon Tart Sequin. And then I added my Trendy Page Dot and my Lemon Tart Trendy Twine.  I also added some twine to the top handle and added a bow.

There's more fun projects posting this month so be sure to check back!

Here's a fun Lemon Tart Sampler you can get too--look at those pretty colors!

Trendy Bakers Twine--Just for You!

Hi everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations. It's been a while but I have some cute, quick treats to share with you.  Everything I used is from Annie's Paper Boutique: Grape Fizz and Limeade Trendy Twine, Candy Cubes 2x2 Clear Boxes, Lavender and Spring Green Tag-Its, Trendy Page Dots, and the You've Got Mail Stamp Set.

I skipped right to Easter since I saw some chocolate eggs in the store.  I love to buy the holiday candies LOL! I filled one 2x2 Clear Box with the pink and purple candy eggs and the other with the green and yellow green eggs.

I stamped the Just for You from the You've Got Mail Stamps on the Tag-It's that I cut down a bit and rounded the edges I cut. That's since the box is small, but I can use the tag and still see the fun stuff.  Then I added a matching Trendy Page Dot to them.

The last step is wrapping my Grape Fizz and then my Limeade Trendy Twine around the boxes both ways, adding my tag, and tying my bow. Easy!

Items used:

Did you see that all the green Trendy Twine colors are on sale this month?! There are samplers too.  Here's my favorite one, the Limeade Trendy Bakers Twine Sampler. This set has Limeade, Totally Limeade, and Totally White Trendy Twine.

Have a wonderful day!!

Trendy Bakers Twine - Spread a little happy

Hi Trendy Fans!

This is Shelly with My Paper Love with a very quick and easy project to share using the spotlight twine this month Lemon Midnight. This is a really fun color! Do you have a bunch of washi tape? Oh my goodness... I DO! I think I bought a bunch on sale and it seems to have multiplied. So for today's project I paired some washiest tape with Trendy Twine :)

I started with a Kraft Large Tag-Its and layered the washi tape on the bottom.

I added a sentiment from the Choose Happy Stamp Set, a Lemon Midnight Trendy Page Dot and tied it with  Lemon Midnight Trendy Twine. Such a quick but cute tag for a gift bag!

I hope this adds a little inspiration to your Craft day!

Stop by the store and check out the products I used for this project.

Lemon Midnight Trendy Twine is our color of the month. It's a festive twist of yellow, white, and black.

The new Lemon Midnight Sampler is a beautiful little set of Trendy Twine goodness. It includes Lemon Tart, Lemon Midnight, and Black Licorice
Kraft Large Tag-Its

Planner Friday - February

Hello!  I am Amanda from She's Eclectic and I am the resident planner girl here on the Trendy Twine blog.  I love to use my APB stamps to help me stay organised and to add a bit of fun to my planner pages too.  As next week is Valentine's day I have gone all out with a "romantic" theme full of hearts and things that go together perfectly so let me show you how I did it!

Products used: You & me planner stamps

The first thing I always do is to add washi tape wherever I can fit it in on my spread, usually along to top and bottom of the pages.  Then I pair that with a set of trendy page dots which reinforce the holes and protect my pages from tearing as well as adding a lovely splash of colour! I do this before I write or stamp anything so I know exactly how much space I have to work with.

Next it is time to get practical with the Check it offAt homeMore at home, and School days stamp sets!  I use the Check it off stamps to create my to do lists and then I use the other sets to add my reminders and things I need to complete like doing the recycling, paying bills and running errands.  They also cover things like events, appointments, assemblies and after school clubs.

If you want to just get organised you can stop here, you have made your plans and now you just need to work on finishing them but if you want your planner pages to look really pretty as well as being practical then there is one more stage left to do, decorate them!

Decorating with image stamps, washi and trendy page dots

I use my APB image stamps to create my designs and a few stickers here and there.  For this week I used the You & mePerfect pairs and We go together stamp sets to add sweet little couples that compliment each other like coffee and doughnuts and eggs and bacon.  Then I coloured them in to match my Valentine's Day theme using lots of pink!

Next week's plans

So this is how my week looks!

Do you like to decorate your planner, I'd love to know!

Planner Friday - November

Amanda here from She's Eclectic and it's Planner Friday! I can't hold it in any longer, I'm so excited!  December is only a day away and then we can all get into the festive mood!  With this in mind I have been using my APB stamps to plan my perfect Christmas.  I want to get the lights, decorations and Christmas tree up as soon as possible and spend my weekends watching holiday movies with my children.  Though there is all that pesky shopping, wrapping and card writing to get through as well so I definitely need my planner to help me!

As usual I started my spread by adding some strips of washi tape along the top and bottom of my pages and then chose some coordinating Christmas Trendy Page Dots to reinforce the holes and add an extra splash of colour.

An extra splash of colour with the Trendy Page Dots

These pages are my monthly overview so I'm only adding the most important reminders and events to them, I will be recording everything else like housework and my regular to do lists (or the boring bits!) in my weekly pages so this is really just to give me an idea of how my month is shaping up so far. I also wanted it to look fun and festive so I'd feel a little tingle of Xmas excitement whenever I check my planner!

Cheers!

I've recently moved into an A5 sized organiser so I had plenty of room to add some fun decoration to my pages using stamps from the FoodiesDrinks & More and Perfect Pairs sets, after all it's the season of cocoa and cookies with the odd glass of fizz thrown in as well!

It's Christmas!!

As you can see I still have space left so I can jot down anything else I need to know or remember as it comes along and I am going to use my naughty and nice sections to keep track of the things I have to do (naughty) and the things I want to do (nice)!

On one of the pages I popped a Love Letter planner clip as it reminded me of writing letters to Father Christmas, something I still need to do with my youngest daughter this year.  Fingers crossed there are no surprises on her list as Santa has already brought all her presents!

I absolutely love the APB Christmas stamps so I used lots of my favourite ones on this spread.  Some are for reminders and others are just quotes to add to the festive feeling.  There is a nice mix of practical and creative stamps in each set so you can use them for Christmas cards, crafts, memory keeping and planning.  They are really versatile and all six sets are currently on sale so you can grab yourself a bargain!

I will wish you a merry Christmas and happy holidays now just in case I am not back here again before then and I hope you have a wonderful December too!

Planner Friday - April

Wow, Planner Friday came around again so quickly!  I feel like the months are speeding by and it will be summer before we know it.  Though that's not a bad thing, I can't wait for some sunshine!

For today's post I wanted to show you how I use my Annie's Paper Boutique stamps to help keep me organised and add a little fun to my planner pages too.

I knew when I started planning my week that I was going to be busier than usual so I added plenty of check boxes for my daily to dos using a stamp from the Check It Off set and then added my reminders and lists with stamps from the At Home and School Days sets.  I reinforced the holes in my pages with colourful Trendy Page Dots, paired them with some bright and cheery washi tape and added one of my favourite coffee planner clips.

Talking of coffee I knew I was going to need a lot of caffeine see me through the week so I made it the theme for my pages!   There is a special set of  APB stamps for my fellow coffee addicts, aptly called Need Coffee and they are the perfect size for planner pages as they are quite small so you will still have have plenty of space left to make your notes around them.  I also used a larger coffee stamp from the Perfect Pairs set in my Sunday section as I have less to do that day and had more space for decoration.  The last thing I did was to colour in the stamps with fineliners and pencil crayons and then I was ready to face the week!

My week fuelled by coffee

I have to admit I am glad it is Friday now as my week is winding down a little.  I might have had a lot to do but every time I opened my planner I was greeted with a cheerful spread which made my tasks seem less daunting.

How do you get through a busy week?

Don't forget to stop by the store to check out all the lovely planning supplies and I'll be back again next month for another Planner Friday!

Planner Friday - February

I know it is only the end of February but I am already daydreaming of spring!  I can't wait to see flowers blooming and feel the sunlight warming my skin again, winter feels like it has lasted at least six months!  With this feeling in mind I have swapped planners into a white binder and I am filling it with lots of florals and fresh colours to keep me going until spring actually does arrive.

Journalling cards & paperclips

I have added some journalling cards and a few of my favourite paper clips into the pockets of my planner and they make me smile each time I open it up!  The positive quotes on the journalling cards are going to help me through the last days of winter and they are nice and handy if I want to document anything on them in the meantime.

I continued the spring theme onto my planner pages this week using lots of lovely Annie's Paper Boutique products.

I am really happy with how they turned out!  I love how clean and tidy they look because of the APB stamps and I matched my ink colours to the washi tape and Trendy Page Dot reinforcements just to pull it all together.

My spring themed spread

I used the At HomeMore At Home and Check It Off sets for my daily to do lists and reminders and the Weekend stamp for some extra decoration.  All of the positive little quotes come from the Choose Happy stamp set and they are fantastic for brightening your day!  I think they are one of my all time favourite sets, they're just so happy and cheerful!

Planner Friday - December

Oh my gosh!  I can't believe how quickly December has flown by!  I have been trying to squeeze every last drop of festive fun out of the month and I still feel like it has passed me by!

Planning my week - before the ink

Products used:  Paper clips

For my last Planner Friday post of the year I want to show you how I have decorated this weeks spread.  I have a lot of things I still need to do before the big day so I thought making the pages pretty would help me keep calm and not panic too much!

I used washi tape at the top and bottom of my pages and then matched that with some lovely Christmas Trendy Page Dot reinforcements.  As well as looking nice and colourful the Trendy Page Dots protect my pages from tearing if I am leafing through them too quickly.  I think everyone who uses a ringed planner knows the pain of ripping a page so these are fantastic!

I love using APB's Christmas stamps in my planner, there are so many different quotes to choose from it is easy to find something that fits perfectly!  I have also been using them to embellish my Christmas card envelopes and gift tags this year so they are practical as well as fun.

For my to do lists and reminders I used the Check It OffAt Home and More At Home sets and as it is the last week of school I have quite a few events to attend so the School Days set covered those for me.  Seeing so many notes and tasks in my planner usually makes me feel stressed but all the decoration just makes me smile and even more determined to get everything finished so I can enjoy the holiday!

My week so far

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year, I'll see you again in 2018!

Planner Friday - October

Hello!  I'm Amanda from She's Eclectic and I am a self confessed planner gal.  I live for lists, I get over excited by organisers and I am persistently punctual!  I use my planner to organise my life and I fill it with to do lists, reminders, plans and ideas and this usually keeps everything ticking along nicely.... but sometimes things just go wrong!

Photo of my week

Last week is a perfect example.  I had everything in my planner, I knew what I needed to do, where I needed to be and when I needed to be there but the universe had other ideas!  First of all the dental appointment I had been worrying about was rescheduled at the last minute (I was just setting off when I got the call!) and then my internet connection disappeared for 48 hours leaving me constantly checking my mobile for updates on the repair work and crossing my fingers that my data allowance would see me through until my broadband was back.  It's not that I'm addicted to being online, no scratch that, I totally am but it also messed up my blogging schedule! So overall it wasn't a fun week but at least I could release some of my angst with a few of my APB stamp sets.

Used but not pictured: Trendy Page Dots

I hate leaving things on my to do lists unchecked but using stamps from the Screaming InternallyNo Adulting and Not Happening sets meant I could leave myself little snarky notes about my days or why I hadn't completed things.  When I look back as these pages now I won't be annoyed that things got away from me I will probably have a giggle instead.

Chin up buttercup

I used the Chin up stamp from my Choose Happy set on Sunday to remind me not to take my negativity through with me to a new week and to give myself a clean slate.  I also spent some time binge watching Netflix which was a great way to wind down after my blah week!

If you want to add some sassy stamps to your collection pop over to the store now and see what takes your fancy!

See you again next month for my Christmas themed post!

Trendy Twine - Hello Boo-tiful

Hello!  This is Sukie and I have a treat project to share today!  My project started with a Large Treat Sack which I lined with some Halloween papers.  I used the same papers to create a fun topper for my bag.  The papers created a sturdy liner so I could tuck in lots of treats.
A doily was tucked under the topper and layered with a tag.  Next I added a Grape Tag-Its and heat embossed a sentiment from the APB Happy Halloween stamp set.
The tag was embellished with some Spooktacular Taffy Trendy Twine, a Trendy Page Dot and some Batty Sequins.  A coordinating flower was the finishing accent on my treat bag.
All of these fun products are available over at Annie's Paper Boutique. Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a spectacular day!

Trendy Twine: Guest Designer

Good day to all my bloggy friends!
Happy Friday!

It's Migdalia from Crafting with Creative M and I am SUPER excited because I am this month's guest designer. Yiippee!!

Here is what I created with this month's spotlight:

For my garden treat box I used a variation of pretty papers & a 3x3 Kraft Box.
I cut out the flaps and closure of the box, filled it with green Easter grass and placed a clear treat bag inside with chocolate cookies.

With the Chocolate Truffle twine I made small pom-poms and adhered them to each corner. I stamped the "Hello" sentiment from the Hello Fall Planner Stamp Set on a die cut banner. The bird is a felt sticker that I found in my stash.

I placed a Pink Striped Polka Dots-Trendy Page Dots on the top portion of my tag and I added a pink pearl to the center of my pretty Chocolate Truffle twine bow.
I stamped the heart image from the Smile Stamp Set on to the inside portion of the tag. Then I stamped the "Thankful" sentiment from the Hello Fall Planner Stamp Set on to a die cut banner.

I used the Cricut Design Space catalog for my die cuts.

Here is a another view of my pretty garden treat box.
