Happy Birthday Lesley!!

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here. Today is a special day...Lesley's birthday! Lesley is the owner of Annie's Paper Boutique. Of course, I couldn't let this day go by without a special birthday post for the birthday girl. Here is the card I sent off to Lesley.

This year, I went with a fall theme because I loved those sweet pumpkin images on the papers from Echo Park's Sweater Weather 6x6 paper pad. I used circle dies to cut layers for the focal point, then used a precision glue press to adhere Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine around the circle and also added a bow of the same twine at the bottom of the circle.

The sentiment banner on the front features a sentiment from the APB Happy Thanksgiving stamp set, which was stamped with SB.com Dark Chocolate ink. I used brads to secure the banner to the card.

I also decorated the inside of the card with scraps from the papers I used on the front. The inside sentiment is from the APB Smile stamp set.

Trendy Bakers Twine~Chicken Cards

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here. This month is a free for all with Trendy Twine colors, so I let my imagination run wild and ended up using both Krazy for Kraft Trendy Twine and Totally Kraft Trendy Twine on these chicken themed cards.

When I saw the fun chicken paper in the 6x6" Carta Bella Sunflower Market paper pad, I knew I wanted to make a card for my mom using it. Chickens have been a big part in her life! I used the Bourbon Creek Crafts No Scraps Sketch Set #1 and three patterned papers as the starting point for these cards. Once I had the paper pieces coordinated the way I wanted, I decided to glue a braid of Trendy Twine down the front of the card. Two have Krazy for Kraft Trendy Twine and the third one has Totally Kraft Trendy Twine because I thought it stood out better on the busy chicken paper. 

On one of the cards I decided to use the reverse of the chicken paper so it could be used for anyone. To build the focal point of the card, I adhered a kraft circle die cut from a GMD x-stitched die to a 3" Paper Doily. On the two chicken themed cards, using SB.com Leather ink I stamped a retired Raisin Boat chicken wire stamp. Once that was adhered to the card front with foam tape, I stamped the sentiment strip with a stamp from the APB Smile stamp set in SB.com Dark Chocolate ink and used ATG to place it on the circle.

The final touch was a trio of Chocolate Truffle Sequins that were adhered with Bearly Art precision glue.

Trendy Bakers Twine~Butterfly Tag

 Hello all Beth from Beth's Beauties! Spring is in the air and today I am sharing a tag with that theme. It features Cotton Candy Trendy Twine which is a sweet twist of light pink and light blue.

I started with a Sky Chunky Tag-It, adhered a 3" Paper Doily, then added a Round Butterfly Vintage Inspired Tag popped up with foam tape. Cotton Candy Sequins matched the color scheme perfectly! The sentiment was stamped from the Smile stamp set in black on kraft paper. At the top of the tag, I placed Chevron Ribbon through the opening and tied a double knot of Cotton Candy Trendy Twine around the ribbon. The final touch was gluing a small bow of Cotton Candy Trendy Twine beneath the sentiment.

Trendy Bakers Twine~SheetLoad of Gaming Cards

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here with a SheetLoad of gaming cards for all of the boy birthdays I have coming up in our family!  It worked out great with the Trendy Twine featured this month, Aqua Midnight Trendy Twine.

I used papers from The Paper Studio's Boy paper pad with the August 2023 SheetLoad of Cards sketch to create these 8 cards.  I thought Tag-Its were the perfect blank slate to use as a focal point on them.  For half of the cards, I used Lemon Tag-Its, stamped the sentiment from the Smile stamp set in black, added a Aqua Midnight Trendy Page Dot, Aqua Midnight Trendy Twine, and a fussy cut video game controller from the patterned paper.  The tag was popped up with foam tape and I added a trio of Blue Berry Sequins around it.

For the other half of the cards, I made the focal point in very much the same way with the exception of using Leaf Green Tag-Its instead of the Lemon ones.  I also placed it on a different area of the card front.

Here is a look at all 8 of the cards I created.  I really love how they turned out and will be great for all video game loving kids.

Trendy Bakers Twine - Happy Birthday

 Hi Trendy Fans!

This is Shelly from My Paper Love sharing a Birthday card using our spotlight color of the month  Cherry Lemonade Trendy Twine.

This twine is a festive twist of red and yellow and the best part is that coordinates with Cranberry, Lemon Tart, Totally Red, Totally Lemon, and Lemon Peppermint.

I made a very clean and simple card using kraft papers. I just loved the colors paired with the Cherry Lemonade Trendy Twine. I finally got to use my tall alpha dies and I just LOVE them.

I wanted to add a birthday sentiment and found the perfect one from the Smile Stamp Set. I just masked off Happy so I could just use Birthday. 

And last but not least, I added a pretty bow of Cherry Lemonade Trendy Twine.

Hey Trendy Fans!

This is Shelly from MyPaperLove sharing a sweet little treat using the Trendy Twine spotlight color of the month Totally Grape Trendy Twine 

I know I just showcased these adorable mini popcorn boxes but I wanted to share just one more way to show how you can use these fun little boxes. 

I used it to package up some pretty little lipsticks for a gift.

I will tell you that the inspiration for this little gift came from Beth and this project, I just loved her great big flower. I die cut the flower and leaves and adhered it to the Lavender Popcorn Box filled it up with the little gift and tied it with Totally Grape Trendy Twine and a tiny tag stamped with a sentiment from the Smile Stamp Set.

I hope I inspired you to get creative and make a handmade project.

Trendy Bakers Twine~Back to School Printables

Good morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  If you have school age kids or grandkids, you probably have back to school on your mind like I do!  I always love giving my kids a little treat for the first day and Annie's Paper Boutique just released several new printables for school that made that task a snap.  I used three of the four new printables on today's project plus both of our featured twines of the month, Cranberry, and Totally Red.

First up, let's talk about the 2x8" Zip Bags.  They are the absolute perfect fit for 6 pencils or many other combinations of school supplies or goodies!  You can see below that I added erasers and pencils to one while keeping the second with only pencils inside.

All patterned papers used for today's projects are from Echo Park's Back To School 6x6" paper pad.  the treat on the left was dressed up with a belly band, Cranberry Trendy Twine, Cranberry Tag-It, a die cut dark gray circle and a Happy First Day of School Print & Punch Tag.  For the second treat bag, I added the Let's Start This Year Off Write Printable Bag Topper, which fits these 2x8" Zip Bags perfectly, to the top.  I then added a belly band embellished with Cranberry Trendy Twine and Twisted Lime Sequins.

Next up, I created little notecards to match the pencil treat bags.  They are made with more of the patterned paper mentioned earlier, embellished with label die cuts, Totally Red Trendy Twine and a sentiment stamp from the APB Smile stamp set.  I love how the one really looks like a composition notebook!  I rounded the corners with my Corner Chomper to mimic the corners of the labels.

Last, but not least, I made a quick treat for my daughter who still stays at home with me so she would feel special too!  I took a box of crayons and wrapped it with Cranberry Trendy Twine, added a Cranberry Chunky Tag-It and a Here's to a Bright Year Printable Tag which I rounded the corners on and popped up with foam dimensionals.  Literally a 2 minute project, but she will love it to pieces.  Be sure to check out the printable I didn't use this time called Little Pick Me Ups Printable Tags that are perfect for school or any occasion!

 Hi Trendy Fans!

Have you enjoyed the "Sweet" inspiration this month? Well it's not over just yet... This is Shelly with My Paper Love and I have another project to share using a sweet theme and some gorgeous Twisted Gumball Trendy Twine.

This is a cute tag that would be perfect for any occasion: a new neighbor, for a thank you treat, to cheer up a friend, anything really. I love making tags like this and just having them in case I need them.

I started with the APB White Large Tag Its. 

These are 2-1/2" wide and 3-3/8" tall so perfect for a small die cut or cute stamp. For this tag I added some washi tape and a sentiment from the Smile Stamp Set

I placed an ice cream die cut in the center and tied it with Twisted Gumball Trendy Twine. 

I hope this leaves you inspired to create something with Twine and paper :)

Trendy Bakers Twine - Have a Happy Day

 Hi Trendy Fans!

Are you ready for a fun month of "Sweet" inspiration? This is Shelly from MyPaperLove sharing a card using the spotlight twine Bubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine.

Okay this twine just screams ice cream! I absolutely love Aqua Blue, White, & Pink and so this is just as perfect as you can get! I made a fun little card that reminds me of an ice cream shop with the striped canopy and aqua walls. 

I used quite a few dies to make this card. I started with the rectangular mat and sized the pink striped paper for the top trim piece but wanted it to resemble a canopy. So I used a scalloped die to create the trim piece.

Next, I cut a square mat and placed the fun ice cream shape on the square mat. I tied the ice cream with the lovely Bubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine. Lastly, I stamped a sentiment from the Smile Stamp Set.

I feel so inspired by these colors and have created a few projects this month so please check back and see what the team has created this month.
