Trendy Bakers Twine~School Tags

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here with another school themed post. This time I created journaling tags for future first day of school scrapbook layouts. They feature In The Navy Trendy Twine and Chunky Tag-Its from Annie's Paper Boutique.
I started with a Sky Chunky Tag-It and stamped the notebook page stamp from the APB Get It Done stamp set using SB.com Postal Blue ink. Isn't it awesome how perfectly that stamp fits on the Chunky Tag-Its?! As a title for the tag, I used the "First day of school" sentiment from the APB School Days stamp set stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink. I decided I wanted to add a little more stamping to the tag, so I used other stamps from the APB Get It Done stamp set using more VersaFine Clair Nocturne and Tulip Red ink.
I repeated the process with another Sky Chunky Tag-It as well as on a Kraft Chunky Tag-It. To embellish the tags, I used my precision glue press to adhere a line of In The Navy Trendy Twine towards the top of the notebook page stamp. I also used multiple strands of In The Navy Trendy Twine looped through the top of the tag. To add a bit more visual interest, I glued Blue Berry Sequins in the bottom right corner.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine~Back To School

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here with a back to school post. Today all of my kids are heading back to school, and I am sure they will be starting soon where you are too. My projects feature In The Navy Trendy Twine and printable focal points from Annie's Paper Boutique.
First up, I made a simple pencil treat bag. I added pencils that I had laser engraved with affirmation sayings into a 2"x8" zip bag, closed it, and added a Let's Start This Year Off Write Printable Bag Topper. I didn't want to take attention away from the sayings on the pencils, so I chose to simply wrap In The Navy Trendy Twine around the bag multiple times and tied it in a knot. Easy peasy!
Next up, I created a small card to go with the pencils using a Happy First Day of School Print & Punch Tag as the focal point. It was layered with a die cut from Pink & Main's Card Cut Essentials Dies set 2 and adhered with foam tape to the base. For the base, I used scraps of patterned paper from Doodlebug Design School Days 6x6" paper pad and wrapped In The Navy Trendy Twine around the center. The only other embellishment I used was a couple Blue Berry Sequins.
Now you have a couple quick ideas for school kids using printables from Annie's Paper Boutique along with just a few other supplies!

Trendy Bakers Twine~You're A Star

Good morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today. Annie's Paper Boutique recently released several new printables for school that are absolutely adorable.  I used one of those on today's project plus one of our featured twines of the month, Totally Red.
The focal point of this card comes from the Little Pick Me Ups Printable Tags which are perfect for just about anything!  They are great for first day of school, lunch box notes, hiding them in your kids' school supply boxes or bookbags, and of course cards and scrapbook pages! I paired the printable with patterned papers from Echo Park's 6x6 Back to School papers, Totally Red Trendy Twine, and a trio of Peppermint Stick Sequins.
While you are checking out the printable I used today, make sure to look at the other new school themed printables at Annie's Paper Boutique: Happy First Day of School Print & Punch TagsHere's to a Bright Year Printable Tags, and Let's Start This Year Off Write Printable Bag Toppers.  They really take the work out of school themed crafts!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Back to School Printables

Good morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  If you have school age kids or grandkids, you probably have back to school on your mind like I do!  I always love giving my kids a little treat for the first day and Annie's Paper Boutique just released several new printables for school that made that task a snap.  I used three of the four new printables on today's project plus both of our featured twines of the month, Cranberry, and Totally Red.
First up, let's talk about the 2x8" Zip Bags.  They are the absolute perfect fit for 6 pencils or many other combinations of school supplies or goodies!  You can see below that I added erasers and pencils to one while keeping the second with only pencils inside.
All patterned papers used for today's projects are from Echo Park's Back To School 6x6" paper pad.  the treat on the left was dressed up with a belly band, Cranberry Trendy TwineCranberry Tag-It, a die cut dark gray circle and a Happy First Day of School Print & Punch Tag.  For the second treat bag, I added the Let's Start This Year Off Write Printable Bag Topper, which fits these 2x8" Zip Bags perfectly, to the top.  I then added a belly band embellished with Cranberry Trendy Twine and Twisted Lime Sequins.
Next up, I created little notecards to match the pencil treat bags.  They are made with more of the patterned paper mentioned earlier, embellished with label die cuts, Totally Red Trendy Twine and a sentiment stamp from the APB Smile stamp set.  I love how the one really looks like a composition notebook!  I rounded the corners with my Corner Chomper to mimic the corners of the labels.
Last, but not least, I made a quick treat for my daughter who still stays at home with me so she would feel special too!  I took a box of crayons and wrapped it with Cranberry Trendy Twine, added a Cranberry Chunky Tag-It and a Here's to a Bright Year Printable Tag which I rounded the corners on and popped up with foam dimensionals.  Literally a 2 minute project, but she will love it to pieces.  Be sure to check out the printable I didn't use this time called Little Pick Me Ups Printable Tags that are perfect for school or any occasion!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Back to School Treats

Hello all, and welcome to August!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here.  This month we are spotlighting Back to School projects with Cherry Midnight Trendy Twine.  What a fun time of the year!  I created treats for my boys returning to school this month.
I started with Manila Library Pockets (Standard size), which fit a 1.55 oz. Hershey's bar perfectly!  Instant treat packaging!  I covered the candy bar and the front of the Manila Library Pockets with patterened paper from the Park Lane School Days paper pad.
I created the tags using Lemon Tag-Its, a sentiment from the Greetings stamp set in black ink, a strip of patterned paper, and wrapped with Cherry Midnight Trendy Twine.  Instead of tying twine through the hole at the top of the tag, I decided to attach it to the pocket with an adorable Mini Wooden Clothespin that I tied a tiny bow of Cherry Midnight Trendy Twine on.  To embellish, I added Christmas Shaker Medley sequins with mini glue dots and two arrow stickers.  I'm sure my boys will love this cheerful treat to begin their school year!

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine~Back To School Card

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today, and I am sharing a back to school card.  It features one of our twists of the month, Lemon Peppermint Trendy Twine.

To create the card, I used several prints from the Doodlebug Design 6x6" School Days paper pad.  I used an edge die for the blue layer and wrapped the Lemon Peppermint Trendy Twine around it and added a bow. On the lined paper, I pierced holes into it and threaded Lemon Peppermint Trendy Twine through the holes to read "A+".  I stamped a sentiment from the Choose Happy stamps in red ink at the top of the page and added the date my kids are going back to school.  I cut the chalkboard with my Silhouette Cameo and popped it up with foam tape.  The finishing touch was a trio of GMD Peacock clear enamel dots.
Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ School Chevron Bags

Hello all and happy Thursday!   Beth from Beth's Beauties sharing these treat bags with you today. This month we are showcasing Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine which was released as a Christmas twist, but as you can see, it is also perfect for back to school projects.
For these fun treats, I started with a Red Chevron Treat Bag, a Black Chevron Treat Bag, and a Light Green Chevron Treat Bag.  I added a homemade white chocolate Macadamia nut cookie to each bag.  Yummy!
Once they were closed, I wrapped the pretty Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine around the bag and added a Black Licorice Tag-It or Cranberry Tag-It to the front with a bow.  The tags were stamped on with the APB You've Got Mail stamp set and VersaMagic Cloud White ink.  I thought that really added a chalk look to the tag!  I added a Christmas Mint Trendy Page Dot and a circle punched from patterned paper to each tag as well.
The finishing touch was sequins from Lime Licorice Batty Sequins and Christmas Shaker Medley to add a little sparkle and pop of color to the bags.

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ Back to School Candy Bags

Hello all and happy Thursday!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today. This month we are showcasing the super cute Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine which was released as a Christmas twist, but as you can see, it is also perfect for back to school projects.
I made these Back to School candy bags for my boys for their first day of school!  These would also be perfect to give to teachers.  I started with Short Candy Bags and wrapped 4 Hershey's Nuggets with patterned paper for each bag.  The paper dimensions for wrapping the Nuggets are 1" wide x 3" long.  Once the bags were sealed, I wrapped Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine around them and attached A White Metal Rim Tag with an apple sticker on it.  Easy peasy, but super cute!

Trendy Twine ~ Apple Core Treat Holder & Treats

Happy Sunday!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today.  It is back to school time here and I always like to give my boys a treat on their first day of school, so this is what I went with this year.
Even though the main focus of this project is the treats, I had to make a sweet apple core treat holder to go with it.  That file from SVG Attic's G is for Gratitude set.  I wrapped Cherry Midnight Trendy Twine around the top and added a Red Tag-It.  I used a sentiment from the brand new Smile stamp set to finish off the holder.
For the treats, I started off with Medium Candy Bags which fit Hershey's Nuggets in perfectly!  I wrapped the candies with patterned cardstock and added the topper.
The toppers use files from SVG Attic's Back to School set.  I finished them off with a bow of Cherry Midnight Trendy Twine.  All the patterned papers in this project are from DCWV's Grade School stack.
