Trendy Bakers Twine~Happy Christmas Card

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here. This month, I am gearing up for Christmas with my posts. It is such a fun time of the year to get creative! Today, I am sharing a Christmas card that features Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine.

The patterned papers from DCWV's Hand-Painted Christmas stack have a great retro vibe and matched the colors in Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine perfectly, so those are what I used for the background as well as the fussy cut tree on front. I lined the green paper strip with Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine, adhering it with Bearly Art precision tip glue. the focal point was created with a Kraft Bracket Card with a Cranberry Bracket Card adhered behind it like a shadow. I distressed the outer edge of the Kraft Bracket Card with SB.com Camel ink. Once I glued the tree on the front, I added whimiscal bits of Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine to imitate garland. Bearly Art glue was perfect for that as well. The focal panel was adhered to the card with foam tape. For the sentiment, I used a stamp from the Merry & Bright stamp set in Leather ink, colored the outer edge with extra fine tip Sharpie markers, then also adhered it with foam tape and glue. For a bit of sparkle, I glued a trio of Delightful sequins to the front as well.

Tag Tuesday~Gift Card Holder

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties back with another Tag Tuesday idea so you can get a jump start on your Christmas gifts.  Today's project is a gift card holder using a Biggie Glassine Open End Envelope and a Snowman & Reindeer Retro Tag.

I simply placed a gift card in a Biggie Glassine Open End Envelope and folded the end over, sealing it with a Glue Dot. The Snowman & Reindeer Retro Tag was such a quick and cute addition to write to and from on the back. To dress the tag up a bit, I rounded the corners with my corner chomper and punched a hole in the top. I then added a Candy Cane Trendy Page Dot and threaded Candy Cane Trendy Twine through that. To add a little sparkle, I used Bearly Art precision tip glue to adhere sequins from Delightful Sequins and Jolly Medley. Another quick and simple, yet personalized Christmas idea! Tag Tuesday~Retro Reindeer Tag

Good morning and welcome to another Tag Tuesday with Beth from Beth's Beauties! When I saw the adorable reindeer on this retro tag, I knew I needed to make something with it.

The base for this project is a Kraft Large Tag-It with a Reindeer & Stocking Retro Tag adhered and the top corners trimmed to size of the kraft tag. I glued Delightful Sequins to the front with Bearly Art precision tipped glue, and finally stapled green chevron ribbon from the Chevron Ribbon Sampler to the top. Honestly, a 5 minute project that can be used as a gift tag or even added to a card front as a focal point.  That sweet retro image is sure to make anyone smile!

Trendy Bakers Twine - Grad Tags

 Hey Trendy Fans!

This is Shelly from MyPaperLove sharing some fun graduation tags using the Trendy Twine spotlight color of the month  Midnight Trendy Twine. Midnight is a lovely twist of black, white, and gray and is just fabulous for any grad themed project but also great for and NYE or masculine projects too. I love how versatile Trendy Twine can be.

I've had these fun tags for a while and look how you can take a very clean and simple look and add some Trendy Twine and a little tiny sequin and Voila...

I love how you can print a very simple tag and by adding some Midnight Trendy Twine it just make it the perfect tag for any graduation gift.

Trendy Bakers Twine~Monochromatic Grad Card

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  The Trendy Twine colors of this month are Midnight and Stormy, which work perfectly with all the graduations happening AND are on sale this month!

For the card that I am sharing today, I started with patterned papers from DCWV's Gilded Grey stack and matted and layered those onto a card base.  With the background paper, I thought a "thread nest" would look nice on the card, so I used Stormy Trendy Twine to create that and popped up a sentiment strip over the top of it. The sentiment was from the APB You've Got Mail stamp set and was stamped in black ink.  The die cut grad hat was from the Silhouette Store file number 58783 (graduation banner grad caps) and was cut 3" wide.  The final embellishment was a trio of gold star sequins from the Delightful Sequins mix.  On a side note, the Merry Sequins mix has silver stars that I could have also used, but decided the pop of gold was just right for this card.

Trendy Bakers Twine~Christmas Gift Card

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here. If you are like me and are still scrambling to get those last minute Christmas gifts organized, this post is for you!  Today I am sharing a gift card holder that can be made in a snap.

I used a Small Glassine Bag to hold the gift card.  They are seriously the perfect size for that purpose and I have used them on many occasions for that!  I then added a belly band of patterned paper, some Delightful Sequins, a metal rim kraft tag that I stamped with a sentiment from the Merry & Bright stamp set in green ink, and Cherry Latte Trendy Page Dot.  The beautiful Krafty Red Trendy Twine and Cherry Latte Trendy Twine were twisted into a rope by using the Sizzix Twist & Style tool.  I started with 2 strands of Krafty Red  and 3 strands of Cherry Latte which made a lovely chunky rope that makes me think of a scarf for these cold winter days!

Trendy Bakers Twine~The Most Wonderful Time

Hello all!  It's the most wonderful time of the year...Christmastime!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today, and I am sharing the retro card that I recently created. It is sure to put a smile on your face!

I used patterned papers from The Paper Studio's Woodland Wonderland 6x6 pad and added a delightful focal point of a Christmas Scooter Retro Tag.  Doesn't that image just make you want to go on a Christmas tree hunt?  You could also substitute the tag with a stamped or die cut image to change it up.  The sentiment from Let It Snow Christmas stamp set was stamped in black.  Krafty Red Trendy Twine accented both the sentiment and around the scooter tag.  Delightful Sequins were the perfect final embellishment.  Adhesives used include Bearly Art precision tip glue and foam tape.
