Trendy Bakers Twine~Frankenstein Card

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here with a Halloween themed post. With all of the fun Halloween Trendy Twine twists available, it was hard for me to decide which one to use, but I finally decided on Spooktacular Taffy Trendy Twine
The patterned papers on this one are from an old MAMBI 6x6 Halloween paper pad, including the fussy cut Frankenstein. I wrapped Spooktacular Taffy Trendy Twine around the background apper three times before adhering it to the card base. The white banner, die cut from GMD stitched fishtail banners, was the perfect clean focal point. The sentiment strip was created with the Happy Halloween stamp set and VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink. I also wrapped more Spooktacular Taffy Trendy Twine around it, then popped it up with foam tape. Enchanting Sequins were the perfect finishing touch. I really think those bat sequins add so much to Halloween projects!

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

If you don't need a whole spool of the Trendy Twine I used today, check out the Trick or Treating sampler! It has 10 yards of each twist on wooden clothespins for ease of use and storage.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Halloween Card Set

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here. Halloween is just around the corner, and I have a set of cards with that theme to share with you today.

In an attempt to work smarter, not harder, I used Pink and Main's Card Cut Essentials dies 1&2 plus 2.5 sheets of 6x6" MAMBI Halloween paper to die cut all the elements that you see on these cards. Once the pieces were all cut, I simply laid out different die cut elements that I thought worked well together and I ended up with 6 cards full of Halloween cuteness and elements from Annie's Paper Boutique!
All of the cards have Lime Licorice Trendy Twine featured on them in one technique or another. Really any of the Halloween Trendy Twines would have worked, but in effort to keep things simple, I just stuck with the one twist.
They also all have different sentiments from the APB Happy Halloween stamp set on them. I love the fun fonts and variety of cute sayings in that set! I used Versafine Onyx Black ink for those.
The stamped Halloween kids are from a retired Victorine Originals stamp set, but you can make anything the focal point of your cards! One great option would be to grab some Halloween Tags from Annie's Paper Boutique. There are so many different styles! Another easy peasy choice to use as your focal point are APB Halloween printables you can print off on your own printer. You can find them HERE and HERE.
To embellish the cards, I used Bewitching Sequins and glued them on with Bearly Art precision glue.
Other items used on these cards include ATG, foam tape, SB.com hybrid black ink, Artify alcohol markers, and a Cottage Cutz stitched circle die. Now I have a head start on my cards to send out for Halloween! What have you been making for the upcoming holidays?

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

If you don't need a full spool of the Lime Licorice I used, check out this Halloween Sampler with several colors in it! Each twist is 10 yards in length and wrapped on a wooden clothespin for easy storage.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine - Eat, Drink & Be Scary

 Hi Trendy Fans!

It's Shelly from My Paper Love, and I've got an adorable treat idea that's perfect for the spookiest time of the year. Whether you're planning a Halloween party, looking for a unique way to hand out candy, or just want to surprise your friends and family with a little something special, this project is a fantastic choice. We're going to add a dash of creativity with our spotlight twine, Spooktacular Taffy Trendy Twine, to make these treats even more delightful.

To begin I started with the Candy Cubes. These 2" x 2" square clear boxes are the ideal vessels for all kinds of Halloween goodies. The clear box allows the lucky recipient to catch a glimpse of what's inside.

I wanted to add some spooky flair. I cut out some Halloween-themed card stock in a size that fits perfectly on the front of your candy cube. Whether it's pumpkins, bats, ghosts, or witches, there's a design out there to match your Halloween style.

Now comes the fun part - filling up those clear boxes with mouthwatering chocolate candies. You can use classic favorites like mini candies, candy corn, or any candies that you know your guests or trick-or-treaters will love. The transparent cube will make the treats look irresistible!

To add that extra bit of charm and make my treat holder truly Spooktacular, I used Spooktacular Taffy Trendy Twine. This twine is the perfect finishing touch for my Halloween treats. I carefully wrapped it around the cube and tied a great big bow on top. The vibrant colors and playful twist of the twine  instantly gave my candy cube holder a festive feel.

To complete my Halloween treat, I added a little tag with a spooky sentiment from the Happy Halloween Stamp Set.

And there you have it – a Spooktacular Halloween candy cube treat holder! These are perfect for party favors, gifts, or just to spread some Halloween joy. The combination of transparent cubes, colorful twine, and Halloween-themed decorations will make your treats stand out in style.

So, go ahead and get creative this Halloween with these candy cube holders. Whether you're sharing them with friends, family, or little ghouls and goblins, you're sure to be the talk of the town with these cute and delicious Spooktacular treats. Have a fantastic Halloween filled with sweet and spooky delights!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Halloween Treat Cube

Hello all and happy October! Beth from Beth's Beauties here today, and I am thrilled to be working on Halloween projects this month. First up, a Halloween treat cube sure to delight any trick-or-treater.
This was quite a simple project, starting with a 2x2" Candy Cube and filling it with candy.  The decorations are all on a belly band that can be removed and replaced easily if all the candy isn't eaten right away.  The belly band was created with paper from DCWV's Spooky Halloween stack. Once that was secured losely around the cube, I wrapped at total of 3 strands of Spooktacular Taffy and Trick or Treat Trendy Twines around the circumference of the box.
To make the eccentric bow on the top, I cut approximately 40 strands each of Spooktacular Taffy Trendy Twine and Trick or Treat Trendy Twine the same length and secured them together by knotting around the center of the bundle. Once that was adhered to the top of the cube, I added Halloween charms, a bat sequin from Enchanting Sequins, and a tag stamped with a stamp from the Happy Halloween stamp set in SB.com Mardi Gras ink, with an Antique Bronze Safety Pin to the bow.  The final touch was to add more Enchanting Sequins to the front of the belly band.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine~Halloween Tag Art Collection

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here. It is definitely getting cooler, so fall and Halloween are on my mind! Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine, one of our featured twines of the month, works perfectly for both of those themes. Today I am sharing a Halloween tag art collection.
All of the patterned papers used are from G45's Steampunk Spells 8x8" pad. I used the colors within it for inspiration for the entire project!  I started with a Manila Library Pocket and decorated it with patterned paper that was wrapped with Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine. I used Scor-tape to adhere the patterned papers. The flower was made by die cutting flower layers, spritzing them with water, crumpling them up, then letting them dry and layering them with a brad. To embellish, I glued Spellbinding Sequins to the front and tied a key on with a bow of Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine.
It go inside the library pocket, I created three tags.  The first was a Lemon Tag-It decorated with an Aqua Midnight Trendy Page DotAqua Licorice Trendy Twine, and a panel from the paper pad.
Next up, a Sky Bracket Card with a panel from the patterned paper, a stamped sentiment from the APB Happy Halloween stamp set, and a bat sequin from the Spellbinding Sequins mix.
Lastly, I embellished a Mango Chunky Tag-It with another patterned paper panel and attached aqua ribbon from the Chevron Ribbon Sampler with a staple at the top of the tag.  This project was a little out of my comfort zone, but I absolutely loved creating it!  Wouldn't it be FABULOUS with shabby chic or elegant feminine themes?  I'd love to see if you try this idea with different twists!

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

You can also find the featured twines of the month in the Aqua Sampler.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~You are Spook-tacular Cards

Good morning and Happy Halloween!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with this trio of Halloween cards.  I was still in need of a few more Halloween cards to send out, and when I came across the "stack, slice, and shuffle" method of cards, I knew that's what I wanted to make.  Simple yet quirky and it hilights lots of fun patterned papers.
The concept behind this style of cards is to cut 3 coordinating patterned papers the size you want them for your card front.  Then stack them up and slice them all at once with your paper trimmer, making sure to keep them aligned.  Once you make 2 random cuts, you shuffle the pieces so 1 of each patterned piece is set aside for each card.  Very quick and no two are identical!
The materials I used for these cards are older DCWV Halloween papers, black cardstock, Spooktacular Taffy Trendy Twine, haunted house brads, a stamped sentiment from APB Happy Halloween stamp set, and Enchanting sequins.
I absolutely love how the Spooktacular Taffy Trendy Twine coordinated perfectly with the papers I used.  Isn't this style of card fun?!  This was the first time I tried it, but it definitely won't be the last!

Today I'm using Grape Limeade Trendy Twine and a mini popcorn box to create my fun little treat.

I wrapped Grape Limeade Trendy Twine behind the spider web and then filled up the treat with candy and tied it with a bit of gorgeous Grape Limeade Trendy Twine. To top off the treat I added a Leaf Green Tag-it and added a funny sentiment from the Happy Halloween Stamp Set
