Trendy Bakers Twine - Rock this day!

Hi Trendy Fans!

This month, we're putting the spotlight on the enchanting Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine. I'm Shelly from My Paper Love, and I can't wait to share a delightful card I've created using this captivating color.

In my crafting adventure, I had one goal in mind, to design a card that would bring joy to a special person's heart. The Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine was my inspiration, and I couldn't be more excited about the result.

To create the perfect backdrop for my project, I began by carefully selecting a combination of aqua, black, and white papers. I wanted to put a new twist on a different technique. I mapped out a design of where I wanted the Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine to flow effortlessly. This step allowed me to visualize the final result. With my design in mind, I allowed the twine to gracefully flow in a diagonal line along the card's length. The result was nothing short of spectacular. Once I achieved the desired design, I carefully applied a touch of glue to ensure that the twine remained in place, giving the card a polished and professional finish.

To infuse a sense of wonder and excitement into the card, I introduced die-cut stars. These stars were matted together, creating a sense of depth and dimension. 

To break up the bold houndstooth patterned paper, I added aqua card stock. This not only provided a striking contrast but also accentuated the vibrant aqua color of the twine. No card is complete without the perfect message. I carefully selected a sentiment from the "Choose Happy" stamp set and stamped it onto the aqua card stock. This final touch added a personal and uplifting note to the card, ensuring that it carried a message of joy and positivity.

This project was a filled with creativity and innovation. It showcased how Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine can transform a simple card into a work of happiness for someone special. I hope this project inspires you to embrace new techniques and colors in your crafting endeavors.

Trendy Bakers Twine~Halloween Tag Art Collection

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here. It is definitely getting cooler, so fall and Halloween are on my mind! Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine, one of our featured twines of the month, works perfectly for both of those themes. Today I am sharing a Halloween tag art collection.

All of the patterned papers used are from G45's Steampunk Spells 8x8" pad. I used the colors within it for inspiration for the entire project!  I started with a Manila Library Pocket and decorated it with patterned paper that was wrapped with Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine. I used Scor-tape to adhere the patterned papers. The flower was made by die cutting flower layers, spritzing them with water, crumpling them up, then letting them dry and layering them with a brad. To embellish, I glued Spellbinding Sequins to the front and tied a key on with a bow of Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine.

It go inside the library pocket, I created three tags.  The first was a Lemon Tag-It decorated with an Aqua Midnight Trendy Page Dot, Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine, and a panel from the paper pad.

Next up, a Sky Bracket Card with a panel from the patterned paper, a stamped sentiment from the APB Happy Halloween stamp set, and a bat sequin from the Spellbinding Sequins mix.

Lastly, I embellished a Mango Chunky Tag-It with another patterned paper panel and attached aqua ribbon from the Chevron Ribbon Sampler with a staple at the top of the tag.  This project was a little out of my comfort zone, but I absolutely loved creating it!  Wouldn't it be FABULOUS with shabby chic or elegant feminine themes?  I'd love to see if you try this idea with different twists!

September Product Spotlight: Aqua Midnight and Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine

 Happy September, Trendy Twiners!

The first one is Aqua Midnight -- a lovely twist of aqua blue, white, and black; and the second color is Aqua Licorice -- a vibrant aqua and black mix. These colors are perfect all year long, but are especially popular during the Fall season.

I used a Stitched flower layered Die and a couple of butterfly dies -

Trendy Bakers Twine -- Hello Llama!

Hello everyone! I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  Today I have a cute llama card for you using Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine.

I love all things llama so I was very happy to find this SVG in my Cricut Design Space that matched the Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine!  I glued my Trendy Twine around the edge of the oval die cut and added a bow at the bottom.  I love that look.

I took a small hello die and cut it out of black card stock three times to layer it.  Then I added some Clear Wink of Stellar to make it sparkle like the background paper. To adhere it, I found an old tube of dimensional glue in my stash.  Not sure how good it really is, but it worked.  I wanted the word to be over the twine but then not flat against the paper.

I did add a bit of Wink of Stella to the llama too.  It's just a fun card!

Trendy Bakers Twine - Smile

Hi Trendy Fans!

This is Shelly from My Paper Love here to share a fun project using the spotlight color of the month Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine.

I have been wanting to use some old dies of mine and finally had some time this weekend.

I created a card using an old camera die and mainly I wanted to use this die because I knew the lens of the camera was perfect for some Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine.

I found some old pattern paper with aqua and black and used it for the background. I place the die cut in the center of a white circle and popped it up for some added dimension. The Aqua Licorice is just twisted in a circle and place it the center. Lastly, I just stamped the sentiment "Smile" from the Smile stamp set.

I hope this adds a little inspiration to your Craft day!

Trendy Bakers Twine -- Boo!

Hello everyone! I'm Helen from HTB Creations. It's September so there is a new color of the month Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine!  For my project today, I also used a 2x2 Candy Cube, Black Licorice Tag-Its, Happy Halloween Stamp Set, a Blue Berry Sequin, and a Aqua Midnight Trendy Page Dot.

I found the cute Monster Hershey Kisses this weekend and new I could use the teal colored ones with my Trendy Twine.  They are so cute!  I filled my 2x2 Candy Cube with pretty much all the blue ones in the bag.  Then I wrapped my Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine around the box one way. 

For the tag, I stamped the Boo! from the Happy Halloween Stamp Set three times with embossing ink and added white embossing powder.  It looks so good on the Black Tag-It that I trimmed down to 2 inches long so it would not hang over too much on the top of the box.

I added one Blue Berry Sequin and then the Aqua Midnight Trendy Page Dot to the top of the tag.  I attached it to the Trendy Twine around the box and added a bow.  The finishing touch was the monsters on two sides.  A friendly monster 😉
