Trendy Bakers Twine - Life is better with Friends

Hi Trendy Fans!

This is Shelly from My Paper Love here with you today. As the end of the school year approaches are you thinking about gift giving? Maybe teachers, maybe friends? I have a project perfect for holding a small gift.

I started with a Kraft Chevron Treat Bags to create my project but you could use any of the Chevron Bags  to create this project. The bag holds a small necklace so nicely. Here is a picture of the necklace in it's bag so you can see the size for reference. 

I altered a Lemon Tag-it by cutting it in half and rounding the corners. So I actually get two tags out of one. I stamped the tag with a sentiment from the friendship stamps. I just love these sentiments from the stamp set! I also added some lemon tart sequins for a little sparkle.

I folded over the bag and tied it with Totally Lemon Trendy Twine. Everything from my project is from Annie's Paper Boutique, I hope you will stop by the store and see all the fantastic specials this month!

Trendy Bakers Twine - Hello Sunshine

 Hi Trendy Fans!

This is Shelly from My Paper Love sharing a sweet little card that features one of the spotlight colors this month, Lemon Tart Trendy Twine. Every time I see this twine it makes me think of flowers and sunshine. It's exactly what inspired my card.

I started my card by using some round dies to cut mats. I stamped the white card mat with a sentiment from the Choose Happy Stamp set and added some fun lemon tart sequins. Next I layered the Lemon Tart Trendy Twine around the white card mat. I added a cute flower and a glittered gem.

Trendy Bakers Twine -- Sending Love to You!

Hello everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  Today I have a sunshiny card to share with you.  I used Lemon Tart Trendy Twine and Lemon Tart Sequins.

I stamped my mailbox with flowers and colored it in.  Then I used a rectangle die to cut that out and to showcase my cute yellow dotted paper.  I glued my Lemon Tart Trendy Twine around the border of the rectangle and added a bow at the top. Then I glued it to the card base.

Next I die cut a small banner, stamped my sentiment and added a bit of my twine to the side.  I pop dotted this onto the card.  Lastly, I added some Lemon Tart Sequins.

Trendy Bakers Twine -- Aloha!

Hello everyone! I'm Helen from HTB Creations and I'm starting this month off with a fun Aloha treat box.  Who doesn't wish for summer right now and somewhere at the beach?  I used Lemon Tart Trendy Twine, the Mini Kraft Take Out Box, a White Tag-It, a Trendy Page Dot and a sequin from Lemon Tart Sequins.

I put some mini peanut butter cups in my Mini Kraft Take Out Box. Next, I wanted to use this fun pineapple paper.  I cut out sections and taped them together. You can see a bit of a line in the picture below. But I matched them up pretty well and it looks good.

Then I decorated my White Tag-It with a cute pineapple stamp that had a die, stamped my sentiment, and added a Lemon Tart Sequin. And then I added my Trendy Page Dot and my Lemon Tart Trendy Twine.  I also added some twine to the top handle and added a bow.

Trendy Bakers Twine -- Twine & Tag

Hello all!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations. Today I am sharing a Twine & Tag post today.  I used Black Licorice Trendy Twine, a Large Black Tag-Its, Happy Halloween Stamp Set,  Black Licorice Trendy Page Dots, 2x8 Zip Lock Bags, and some Lemon Tart Sequins--just the white/clear.

I found these cute Halloween pencils to use and searched Cricut Design Space for a skeleton.  This one was perfect to print then cut to put on my Large Black Tag-It. But first, I stamped the Boo! from the Happy Halloween Stamp set and heat embossed with white powder.

Then I added my skeleton, the Black Licorice Trendy Page Dot, the sequins from Lemon Tart, and a fun tail with my Black Licorice Trendy Twine.  I used some double sided tape to stick the tag to the top of the 2x8 Zip Bag.

This was so fun to make!  Make sure to stop back for more fun projects!

Trendy Bakers Twine -- Have a Sunny Day!

Hello!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  Today I have a sunny card to share with you.  I used Dark Citrus Trendy Twine, the Smile Stamp Set, and some Lemon Tart Sequins.

I found this cute sun and cloud image in my Cricut Design Space. I know it would be perfect with my Dark Citrus Trendy Twine.  Next I cut a tag shape with a die and made the topper a cute yellow to contrast with my blue and white paper.  

Then I stamped my sentiment from the Smile Stamp set on the bottom of the tag and wrapped my Twine around the bottom with a bow and added it to the top.  I pop dotted my image to the tag and pop dotted the tag to the card base and added my sequins.

Trendy Bakers Twine -- Ready for Spring!

Hello everyone! I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  I'm showing you some cards I made a few weeks ago and haven't posted.  I used Totally White Trendy Twine on one and Limeade Trendy Twine on the other. I don't know about you, but I'm ready for some pretty weather!  These cards make me think of the nice days that Spring can have and I'm dreaming of 😊

On this card I used the Unity Stamp Wreath Builder set and kept it simple.  Since you need a square piece of cardstock, I knew my Totally White Trendy Twine would be perfect for the bottom part of the card with a bow in the middle.

This card used Limeade Trendy Twine and Lemon Tart Sequins.  I love the yellow and green together and this paper had both.  So I used my Limeade Trendy Twine on the curve of the card stock and my Lemon Tart Sequins as accents.

Trendy Bakers Twine -- That's the Point

Hello everyone! I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  I'm back again with Totally White Trendy Twine.  Today, I made some pencil treats to show you.  I used the Skinny Candy Bags, Choose Happy Stamp Set, Tag-It's, Raspberry Cupcake Sequins, Blue Berry Sequins, and Lemon Tart Sequins.

I got these cute pencils in the check out line at Michael's.  The sayings were cute and I matched up some similar ones in each bag. I cut down the Tag-It's so that the sayings on the pencils would be seen and I picked out sentiments from the Choose Happy Stamp Set that kind of matched the pencils.

I tried to find matching Tag-It's but didn't have one of these pencil colors in my stash.  So I went with a pink one.  (Lavender would have been perfect!) I used Blue Berry Sequins to accent this one.

This is a Lemon Tag-It.  I then used some Lemon Tart Sequins too.

This one is a darker pink Tag-It but I don't see it in the store.  It was probably a different pink cardstock at one point.  I used Raspberry Cupcake sequins. I loved that the sentiment matched the one pencil!

These were fun to make and will be fun to give!

Trendy Twine -- Celebrate You!

Hello everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations and today I'm sharing a fun card using Totally Blue Trendy Twine and several sequins mixes.  I really LOVE how this card turned out!!

 I've had this pinata die from My Favorite Things since May.  I've totally been wanting to use it and the Totally Blue Trendy Twine was perfect for the 'string' to hang it from.  The die has a cardstock base and all the layers are cut out of crepe paper, except for the eye, that's cardstock.

Next, I glued my Totally Blue Trendy Twine to the back of the pinata and hooked it over the back and taped it down, and added a bow. I attached the pinata to the card front with dimensional tape. 

Lastly, I added my sentiment and added colorful sequins around.  The sequins came from the following:  Blue Berry, Grape Fizz, Lemon Tart, Rapsberry Cupcake, and Twisted Lime.  I love how fun they all go together and should mix them up more often LOL!
