Hello and A Valentine Shaker Card ~ Guest Designer ~ Kendra

Good Morning Trendy Twine Lovers, it's Kendra Hernandez from Inkin' It Up With Kendra!  I'm your Guest Designer for Trendy Twine for the next couple of days!  When Lesley approached me several months back and asked if I would be interested in Guest Designing, I told her I would be honored to hang out with you lovely ladies for a few days and share a few of my creations using that YUMMY baker's twine!

I love designing for Valentine's Day and I love this color combination even more (it's one of my favorites)  I designed this card using the MFT I Love You More and Mama Elephant Carnival Cupcakes Stampsets.  For the Shaker Heart I used the MFT Pierced Heart Stax, Sequins and some 3M foam double sided tape.    I polished off the card with Trendy Twine's Totally Red and Pinkberry Sorbet ....love this stuff!

Here's a couple of close up pictures so you can see the design and of course that yummy twine a little better!

I love layers and 3 dimension - it's my style!  :)

I hope you enjoyed my design and my use of the baker's twine - Trendy Twine has a great product and so many different styles to choose from!  I'll be back tomorrow with another valentine peek!  Come and say hello over at my blog Inkin' It Up with Kendra! or over on my Instagram: khernandez331 - Have an amazing day!  :)

You're My Most Favorite....{Valentine's Day Candy Tin}

Good Morning Trendy Twiners!!!!
Jessica here from Chick-n-Scrap
and I am so excited to be sharing another project with you all!

Have you started making Valentine's Day treats yet?
Need some more inspiration??
I have another fun gift giving idea to share using a Candy Tin and the newly released Pinkberry Sorbet Trendy Twine!
These Candy Tin's from the Trendy Twine store are perfect for adding wrapped chocolate nuggets. I was able to fill my tin with 12 chocolates, wrapping each one in a piece of 1x3" designer paper from We Are Memory Keepers. Next to decorate the outside of the  tin, I wrapped a piece of beautiful White 7/8" Embroidery Satin Ribbon around the tin and tied it in a bow.
For my sentiment, I used both a stamp set and some dies from My Creative Time. I wanted to add more than just a twine bow to hold my tag onto my tin, so I die cut a small heart into the top layer of my tag. Next using small pieces of Pinkberry Sorbet Trendy Twine, I added them to the back of my twine so it covered the entire die cut.  The color of the twine fills the die cut so beautifully, don't you think??? This is one of my favorite techniques when playing around with my twine.
To finish off my project, I tied the tag onto the ribbon using a double bow of Pinkberry Sorbet Trendy Twine  and added some matching enamel dots.

L-O-V-E Trendy Twine

Hello, Trendy Twine friends! It is Jessi from Kissin' Krafts. Today, I am sharing a treat packaging idea perfect for a quick gift-giving idea!

This month's spotlight color is the yummy Valentine Cherry Cupcake twine!

When I think of Valentine's Day, I always think of the delicious conversation hearts. So I used those candies as my inspiration today!

I used two different heart die cuts to form these conversation hearts.  Once the two different colors are glued together, alpha stamps are used with red ink (just like those conversation hearts. To highlight one of the hearts, I used Trendy Twine's Valentine's Cherry Cupcake to outline one heart.

Looking for other ideas about treat packaging? Look in the store for these candy chutes and other packaging items!

We would love to see you join our Twine It Up Facebook group and show off your creations!

Will You Be My Valentine? And a Big Hello to Our New Trendy Gals

Happy Monday!

After taking a little time off, the Design Team is ready to go.

We are so excited today!
First of all, it's February and I think Valentine's Day is a super fun occasion, but that isn't all.
The BEST part is that we have a few more ladies joining the Trendy Twine Design Team.

Please welcome Julie, Migdalia, and Kim.  (Kim is returning after two years.  Yay!!)

Our challenge is Valentine treat packaging with the treats included.
This month,  the team is showcasing  our original Valentine twine - Cherry Cupcake,
along with Pink Licorice and Pink Midnight

Didn't the gals do a FABULOUS job with their packaging and showcasing the twine?
I adore projects having to do with treats or candy.  They give you all kinds of ideas.

Please stop by each blog to welcome our new members and to say hello to Jessica and Brigit.

Brigit

We hope that you've found some twine inspiration from all of these

I Heart You

Good Morning Trendy Twiners!!!
It is my day to share some twine goodness with you all and even though Valentine's Day is over you can always make that someone special a cute card to show them that you are thinking of them!
And what better way to do that then with this months featured color~

Here is my CAS card....
For my card I used a cut that I purchased from the Silhouette Store and instead of using the original heart that was above the image, I used a Fiskars heart punch, one that was significantly larger than the original heart and covered it with some Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine. I really wanted that heart to stand out and be the focal point on the card.
For one more burst of color I added a bow to the little girl's hair.

Don't forget about this month's challenge~
You still have time to enter!! We would LOVE to see all those projects!!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT week!!!

Can I Get a Big Hip Hip Hooray! Yay!! Valentines Day Twine is Here!!

Finally after months of waiting for this absolutely over-the-top color combination to get here -- it is finally here and ready for you to take into your loving and crafty home.  This newest addition to the Trendy Twine line was made just for Valentine's Day and is called Cherry Cupcake.  Doesn't that name just sound delish?  Availability is limited, so I wouldn't wait too long to grab this one.  Shipping will begin next week.  It's so super easy to get your hands on this yummy twine -- just go to Annie's Paper Boutique and pop it in your cart.  You won't be disappointed, but you will be sad if you miss this Valentine twist.

Valentine's Day Trendy Twine Coming Soon...

This is on the Trendy Twine facebook page, but I wanted to post it here as well.  We have a new twine coming out.  This one is for Valentine's Day and will look so delicious with all of your Valentine goodies.  It's a double twist of soft pink with a double twist of red.  Isn't it perfect?  (The pink is the same pink that I used in my new Posy Pink twine).  This pretty Valentine's Day bakers twine should be here sometime in December.

Now let's have some fun.  How about a tiny giveaway this week?  Let's do one that will end 7:00 pm CST on Thursday, October 20th.  All you have to do is follow this blog if you aren't already here and leave a comment on this post that you are a Trendy Twine-er.  And what will you win?  20 yds of the new Valentine's Day twine.  Yipee!!  {Now keep in mind that what I have is a test spool; the red is a tad different than what will be on the finished product.  But they are both super fabulous, so you will not be disappointed.}
