Trendy Bakers Twine - Clown Treat!

Hi Trendy Fans,

This is Shelly with My Paper Love with a fun treat to share.  This month we are featuring Cherry Licorice twine. It's a festive twist of red and black. I happened to be going through my stamps and came across this super cute image, and I really wanted to use it for my project.

I found a circle tag and cut it using a high quality card stock. I stamped this little clown and then colored him using my copics and colored pencils.

I took this picture before I tied the tag onto the treat so you can see the treat packaging. I used short-candy-chutes from Annie's Paper Boutique. I filled them with some candy and some fun basket filler.

This is the last day for our spotlight color, be sure to check back on the blog for a new color tomorrow!
Have a nice day!

Trendy Bakers Twine -- Valentine's Treats

Hello everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations back again this week to share a really quick Valentine's treat with you.  Everything I used on this (except the candy) you can purchase at Annie's Paper Boutique:  Berry Trendy Twine, Shorty Candy Chutes, and the Happy Valentine's Day Print and Punch Tags

These are so quick and easy to make!  I printed the Happy Valentine's Day Print and Punch Tags and use a 1 3/4 inch circle punch to punch them out. After filling the Shorty Candy Chutes with Hershey Kisses, I tied my Berry Trendy Twine around a few times then tied a bow.  All that was left was to use a few glue dots to stick my tag on.

They would be great for school Valentines' or even to give to your own friends or co-workers. You should head over to Annie's paper Boutique to get some boxes, twine and download some Print and Punch Tags.  There are other designs too!

Trendy Twine -- Smile Treats

Hello there!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  I've made some super quick treats to show you today.  I used Totally Raspberry Trendy Twine, Shorty Candy Chutes, the Smile Stamp Set, and a few Raspberry Cupcake Sequins.

I bought the cute pink and silver Hershey Kisses after Valentines day on sale--that's the best way to buy chocolate.  But I figured pink and silver are good for any time and don't just need to be for Valentine's day.

After filling the Shorty Candy Chute with the candy, I wrapped my Totally Raspberry Trendy Twine around the outside of the box and tied a bow at the top.  This does make it wobbly to stand up, but I do like the look.  Then I die cut the banner and stamped my Smile sentiment and finished it off with a few Raspberry Cupcake Sequins.  I just stuck it on the box with a page dot.

This was so quick and easy to make!  Be sure to get some of these fun supplies to have on hand for quick treats :)

Trendy Twine - Treat Box

Hello! This is Sukie and I have a back to school treat box to today featuring lots of fun products from Annie's Paper Boutique.  I know most crafter think of pre-school and elementary school children when they think of back to school.  Well my daughter is leaving back to college after being home all summer and I thought it would be fun to send her back to school with a treat box more appropriate for her and her roommates. No better way to get back into the college setting than with some yummy treats.  I knew these treats would be a hit.
I recycled a clear box and tucked in a doily as decorative elements.  The mini treat cups were the inspiration for my project so I stacked them and added a shorty candy chute embellished with a bit of ice cream paper.  A bit of shred was added to the treat cups.  The small candy sacks were the perfect size for holding some sundae toppings. A mini wooden scoop was tucked into each candy sack and then sealed off with some washi tape and tied with some Raspberry Cupcake twine.  I also thought it would be perfect to include some wood spoons in the regular and mini size.  I wrapped them with some washi tape and put them into a medium candy bag.  A bit more twine was used to accent the bag.  Some paper straws were tucked into another medium candy bag.
I created a hand cut tag from some ice cream themed paper and added a chevron trendy page dot and more twine.  A paper clip with ribbon was clipped to the tag along with two hand cut flags with sentiments from the Scrappy Moms Ice Cream Social and Countless Occasions (retired) stamp sets. A white metal rim tag was embellished with a bit more twine and a paper flower with a bling center. I hung the tag off the corner of the box and secured it with a clear glue dot.  As a final accent, I wrapped the clear box with some chevron ribbon from May Arts.
Head on over to Annie's Paper Boutique to check out all of the packaging goodies used for my project and the gorgeous twine colors. Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a fabulous day!

A Cherry Cupcake Treat!

Hello, Trendy Twiners!
It's Millie, from Crafting with Creative M, and its my day to post!
Today's project will showcase the yummy Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine and the Shorty Candy Chutes.

For my 1st project, if you remember, I used this adorable printable Panda from F. Bloom on a post for our Crafting Inspiration week.
Well, I just had to use it on my Valentine's Day card.
I was looking to add a little fun touch to my Panda so I cut out several layers on my Cricut Explore and used 3-d pop dots for a dimensional & fun look.
I added rhinestones, a polka dot heart, a fun border and stamped the "Happy Valentine's Day" sentiment by MCS.
I then, made & tied a bow with the Yummy Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine.

For my 2nd project, I showcased the super fun Shorty Candy Chutes.
I decorated it with my Crate Paper scraps.
For my heart, I used the Sweethearts cartridge.
I then made 2 holes in the center with my whole puncher and inserted the yummy Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine, which I made & tied a bow.
And of course I had to fill my Shorty Candy Chute with Hershey's Kisses!

Here is a look at the yummy Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine!

Trendy Twine 12 Days of Christmas Day 3

Good Morning everyone, Jessica from Chick-N-Scrap here and welcome to
Day 3 of our Trendy Twine 12 Days of Christmas.
I hope you have enjoyed the past 2 days of projects and also had the chance to hop our
Christmas Tin Blog Hop. If you haven't checked it out...make sure you do..it all starts HERE! The projects are AWESOME and there is a GREAT prize for 2 lucky hoppers!

For my project today I found some Candy Cane chapstick while shopping at Walmart and thought...hummm this would make a GREAT stocking stuffer :) But you can't just give a chapstick...especially us crafters..we have to package it pretty and of course add a tag~ so I ended up designing a chapstick holder to fit inside the Short Candy Chutes that are available in the Trendy Twine store.
Since I get to showcase the Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine this month, I used the colors from the twine~ light blue, red and white as the color theme. I used blue cardstock for the holder and dropped my chapstick into the Shorty Candy Chute. I added a stamped sentiment to the front using a stamp and die set from My Creative Time~ Postcard Add-Ons and Build a Banner Kit. Next I wrapped my Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine around the box~ and if you look closely you can see I placed it under the bottom closure. This helps the twine stay in place and not slip off. I actually did it with the top of the box too but took the picture before changing it up.
Then using the Stitched Decorative Banners Die from My Creative Time, I die cut my tag, stamped the sentiment from the All Around Christmas stamp set, added an eyelet and tied a pretty simple bow holding the tag in place on my Shorty Candy Chute.
Didn't this turn out adorable??? I love finding new ways to package items and these candy chutes can be used for so much!

So here are the items I used from the Trendy Twine Store...

A Treat Just for You {Halloween Treat}

Hi everyone!

It's Tammy, and I am excited to share a Halloween Treat post with you! It's about 20 days away, so there is still time to pick up some fabulous Trendy Twine at Annie's Paper Boutique in some unique colors just perfect for your Halloween projects!

Here is what I made:
I started by decorating a Short Candy Chute filled with a few Shimmery Lime Gumballs using the awesome Grape Limeade Trendy Twine.   I created a small stamped tag and tied it to the chute and embellished it with a few purple jingle bells before tying it off in a bow. I created a holder to package my Short Candy Chute by hand. I decorated the outside using a background stamp and cuts from my Cricut.

I use Grape Limeade Trendy Twine to keep the flap close.  To open, you just slip out the front cover.

The picture below shows how the treat sits in the holder.
I just pushed the twine down a bit so that you could read the enclosed sentiment. To close, you just slide the twine up a bit and bring your front flap down. Your twine is what keeps the flap closed. It's not only decorative, but it serves a purpose! :-)

Have a Sensational Saturday!
