Trendy Bakers Twine ~ Gift Shaker Card

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with this gift shaker card that features our monthly spotlight of Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine.

I started off by making the gift shaker.  I followed THIS tutorial to make the shaker with a rectangle of patterned paper and a sheet protector.  Before sealing the top flap, I added Peppermint Icicle Sequins then sealed the shaker.  I then wrapped the shaker rectangle with white satin ribbon and Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine then adhered it to my matted card base.  To finish off the look of the presents, I added a double bow of Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine at the top, the made a "gift tag" using a white Tag-It, Cherry Latte Trendy Page Dot, a sentiment stamped from the APB Merry & Bright set, a few Peppermint Icicle Sequins and a tie of Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine~Snowflake Sweet Treat

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with this cute treat that features our monthly spotlights of Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine and a Biggie Glassine Envelope.

I started off by making the bag topper out of a Sky Scallop Note Card, a stamped sentiment from the Let It Snow stamp set, paper scraps, a die cut snowflake, and Frosted Cranberry Sequins.  I added Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine to the snowflake and I really love how it looks!  I added a hot chocolate packet and a mini candy cane to the Biggie Glassine Envelope for a sweet treat. (I did fold over one long edge of the hot chocolate about 3/4" so it would slide into the envelope easily.)  I used Glue Dots to add the topper to the glassine envelope and finished it off with a couple wraps of Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine around the envelope.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

APB Release Day 3 - Peppermint Icicle Sequins

Hello!  This is Sukie and I'm back with another sneak peek project with the "This is December 2" stamp set, Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine and some gorgeous Peppermint Icicle Sequins which will be released on Friday.  Such a beautiful color combination which inspired me to create this holiday treat set.
My project started with a plain gift bag which was embellished with some fun holiday papers.  I created a couple of shaker tags using a Christmas Tree from the Tags Bags Boxes and More 2 Cricut cartridge. The Peppermint Icicle Sequins were tucked inside for a fun shaker element.  These tags were tied onto the gift bag with the twine however can easily be removed from the gift bag and to be repurposed.  I stamped a sentiment from the new "This is December 2" stamp set on a scalloped circle and adhered it to the gift bag.
A tube of treats was tucked inside the gift bag which was embellished to coordinate with the bag.  I simply punched another scalloped circle with the same sentiment and adhered it with some twine and coordinating paper.
The second treat box was created with a Clear Chocolate Box and a belly band which was topped off with a Christmas Tree.  A few fun sequins and another sentiment from the new stamp set was tied on with some twine.  A mini card was the last element to my holiday treat set, it is the perfect size to tuck into the gift bag.
All of these products will be in the store on Friday, October 21st!  Don't forget to head over to the Trendy Twine blog this entire week to check out the sneak peek projects.  Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

APB Stamp Release Day 2 ~ Peppermint Icicle Sequins

Happy new release week at Annie's Paper Boutique!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here, and today I am showcasing the brand new Peppermint Icicle Sequins.  They are a wonderful addition to any Christmas or winter projects!
I started out using a tag shaker svg file from The Cutting Cafe.  The papers are from DCWV's Oh What Fun stack and they coordinated perfectly with the Peppermint Icicle sequins.  Look at how pretty that sequin assortment is!
I used Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine on the top and a bow of Totally Red Trendy Twine for contrast.  The stamp is from the new APB Merry & Bright stamp set.
On the back of the tag, I added sentiments from the new APB Let It Snow and Merry & Bright stamps sets.  I also added a few more of the Peppermint Icicle sequins.
All of the new releases that you are seeing on the Trendy Twine blog this week will be available in the store at 6PM Central time on Friday, October 21st.  Keep checking back every day for new inspiration!

"No peeking, shaking or sniffing! Don't you just LOVE that sentiment :)

Another great sentiment and a look at the Frosted Cranberry sequins.

Last but not least "Merry & Bright" I adorned this tag with an ornament and added lots of glitter and more Peppermint Icicle  :)

Milk For Santa w/Trendy Twine

Good Morning Trendy Twiners!!!!
Jessica here from Chick-n-Scrap
and I am so excited to be sharing another project with you all!

The countdown has begun, the frantic mad rush to get your last minute Christmas shopping done and for those of you with kiddo's at home this always seems to be the last... last... last... minute finishing touches that need to be completed before the Jolly Santa comes for a visit.
What is that you might ask? Well adding his plate of cookies and his glass of milk :)
My project for today is an idea I think you will like....
Lets take a look
How adorable and super fun is this???? For those of you who don't know, I LOVE to work with vinyl (most of my ETSY shop is all vinyl items) so when I was trying to come up with a Christmas project to share, going through my stash of products from the Trendy Twine store, I found this adorable Plastic Milk Bottle. Using vinyl from my scrap bin and my cameo, I cut out the "Milk for Santa" sentiment in matching colors to the Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine. Then I stuck in one of the fun red and white polka dot Paper Straws.

To then finish up my milk bottle, I wrapped around the top of the bottle, several times some Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine. After die cutting and stamping a tag using some My Creative Time stamps and dies, I attached it to the bottle with a simple bow, knotted at the ends.  And now my milk bottle is all ready to be placed next to my plate of cookies for Santa :)

Trendy Twine Products Used:
Peppermint Icicle - Red White & Lt Blue - Christmas Bakers Twine

Plastic Milk Bottles - Clear

Paper Straws - Red & White Dots

So there is my project. What do you think?????
There is still time to place those orders to make one of these "Milk for Santa" bottles for your home. I am sure Santa would LOVE to see this next to his cookies!

Trendy Twine 12 Days of Christmas Day 3

Good Morning everyone, Jessica from Chick-N-Scrap here and welcome to
Day 3 of our Trendy Twine 12 Days of Christmas.
I hope you have enjoyed the past 2 days of projects and also had the chance to hop our
Christmas Tin Blog Hop. If you haven't checked it out...make sure you do..it all starts HERE! The projects are AWESOME and there is a GREAT prize for 2 lucky hoppers!

For my project today I found some Candy Cane chapstick while shopping at Walmart and thought...hummm this would make a GREAT stocking stuffer :) But you can't just give a chapstick...especially us crafters..we have to package it pretty and of course add a tag~ so I ended up designing a chapstick holder to fit inside the Short Candy Chutes that are available in the Trendy Twine store.
Since I get to showcase the Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine this month, I used the colors from the twine~ light blue, red and white as the color theme. I used blue cardstock for the holder and dropped my chapstick into the Shorty Candy Chute. I added a stamped sentiment to the front using a stamp and die set from My Creative Time~ Postcard Add-Ons and Build a Banner Kit. Next I wrapped my Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine around the box~ and if you look closely you can see I placed it under the bottom closure. This helps the twine stay in place and not slip off. I actually did it with the top of the box too but took the picture before changing it up.
Then using the Stitched Decorative Banners Die from My Creative Time, I die cut my tag, stamped the sentiment from the All Around Christmas stamp set, added an eyelet and tied a pretty simple bow holding the tag in place on my Shorty Candy Chute.
Didn't this turn out adorable??? I love finding new ways to package items and these candy chutes can be used for so much!

So here are the items I used from the Trendy Twine Store...
