Planner Friday - September

Hello!  There are only a few days of September left and I am so excited for October and Halloween!  I love having spooky fun with my family throughout the month, we watch scary movies, carve pumpkins, put creepy decorations up and sort out costumes for trick or treating.  I thought I'd create a Halloween theme for my planner pages too with some of my APB stamps!

Products used:

My October at a glance

The first thing I did for this monthly spread was to colour in any special days, these are my husband's days off work, Halloween (of course!) and the half term school holiday.  Then I used the At Home and School Days stamp sets to add in bills due, reminders and my children's after school clubs.  Because this is just an overview for October I don't have to put too much detail into it, I mainly use these pages to see how my month looks as a whole and how busy I am going to be.  Thankfully it doesn't look too crazy at the moment!

Frankenstein and vampire bat treats

I used the candy bar and sweetie stamps from the Foodies set for decoration but I added some spooky touches in with a black fineliner pen and made Frankenstine and vampire bat treats.  I also used the pumpkin stamp from the Hello Fall set and changed the smiley faces into classic Halloween style pumpkins.  I love how they turned out!

Will you be doing anything fun for Halloween?  Don't forget to stop by the store and check out all the supplies you might need!

See you again next month!

Planner Friday - July

Hello!  Welcome to Planner Friday!  I know for some of you the summer holidays began a while ago but here in the UK the schools don't finish until this afternoon and I really can't wait!  I wanted to do a tropical theme in my planner to celebrate the start of lazy days and endless sunshine (fingers crossed!) so let me show you what I used and how it turned out.

As always I started out with some washi tape and Trendy page dots to give my pages a splash of colour and then got out my collection of planner stamps to fill in my to do lists and reminders.

My Planner Friday to do list

I also made myself a little Planner Friday card to keep track of what I needed to do for today's post and added a bit of Trendy bakers twine just because it's such a pretty colour!

My week so far

I am documenting my week using one of the newer stamp sets from Annie's Paper Boutique, they are so funny and give me a giggle when I am selecting which one sums up My day.  Some of my favourites from this set are "Didn't slap anyone", "Kept the kids alive" and "Overindulged in planner supplies" which is particularly apt for me!  I am using a different colour ink for these stamps so it is easy to see straight away what kind of week I have been having and I love the combination of pinks and greens together.

If you are feeling the urge to overindulge in planner supplies too then stop by the store now and see what takes your fancy!  Go on, treat yourself!

See you again next month!

Trendy Twine - Planner layout

Good morning Trendy friends! It's Janice here from Janice's Jems! I am so excited to be a guest designer again for Trendy Twine!

I have become a big planner fan. Every week I love to work on my layouts.
So today, I decided to share this weeks layout with you.

This week's layout is full of Annie's Paper Boutique planner stamps.
They are fantastic little stamps that still leave lots of room for your own personal writing and touches.

I love adding a touch of twine to my pages... and the Trendy dots... They are just the perfect touch of fun! I use a Happy Planner, so I cut my dots in half and I get two full layouts with each strip of dots!

For today's project here is a list of all the goodies I used :

Thanks so much for taking a peak at my project today!

Planner Friday - March

Hello!  It's Planner Friday again on the Trendy Twine blog and I am here to share some ideas for prettying up your planner pages.  I love starting off the week with a blank page and then creating something really fun that also keeps me organised!

Products used:

There are a few different ways to decorate your pages, some people like to cover them in washi tape and stickers before they add their plans, some people draw or paint the most beautiful images and others like to decorate as they go along.  It is all down to personal preference and whatever works best for you.

I have found that using stamps in my planner saves me a lot of time and they make everything look nice and neat.  I like to get my to do lists and reminders down onto the page and then I decorate around them with cute image stamps and stickers.  Creating an attractive spread makes me more likely to open up my organiser and check my plans each day which in turn helps me keep on top of everything.

My week

Do you ever decorate your pages?  I would love to know if you do or if you feel inspired to give it a go!  Don't forget to check out all the planner goodies in the store and I will be back again next month, I hope to see you then!

Planner Friday - December

I'm so excited, can you believe there are only two days left until Christmas?  I'm on the blog today to share with you the planner pages I created using some fun festive stamps from Annie's Paper Boutique!

My Christmas week

Being Christmas week I don't have a lot of appointments or commitments to write down so I had some extra space to play with when I started decorating the pages.  I used three sets of Christmas stamps to add some pretty reminders and these will also be great for when I document our holiday in my journal.

I absolutely love the New Christmas PJs stamp I have used on the 24th December as that is a tradition my mum started with me when I was little and I have carried it on with my children now too.  The Waiting for Santa stamp is a lot of fun as well, every Christmas Eve I take a photo of my three sitting on the sofa dressed in their new pyjamas and full of excitement and then we put our coats on, go outside and search the skies for signs of Santa's sleigh!

Naughty & Nice!

Pairing the But, Santa! journaling tag with the I've been Naughty & Nice! stamp made me giggle so I added a couple of strips of washi tape, punched some holes and turned it into a cute page marker.

So that's my last post for 2016! If you want to pretty up your planner in 2017 pop over to the store and take a look at all the lovely planning supplies and stamps, you should find everything you need to get you started.

I wish you happy holidays and hope to see you again next year!

Planner Friday - September

For me September is the biggest "get organised" month of my year, it is when the new school year starts and suddenly I have lots of places I need to be and things I need to do.  Over the summer holiday I get kind of lax with my planner because my days are less structured and I have fewer commitments but when September comes around I dive back into planning and it feels good to find my old rhythm again!

Products used:

I used a couple of new stamp sets this week, the first is the More At Home set which is a fabulous addition to the APB planner stamp collection.  It has so many handy options for cleaning reminders like Countertops, Toilet, Cat Box, Living Rm, Family Rm, Mop etc I think between this and the original At Home set I have every stamp I could ever need when it comes to keeping my home running smoothly!

No Adulting Stamp Set

The second set I used is really, really fun!  It is the No Adulting set and I love it!  A lot of these stamps represent how some of my days turned out over the summer, there was plenty of binge watching going on and a fair few Pyjama days too!  I am trying to be more productive now I am home alone again during the week but some times the calling of Netflix is too strong and I give in!

My week so far

I am using a couple of paper clips to help me feel inspired and stay on top of things, the Plan and To Do remind me to make a plan and then carry it through.  Everything is easier when you break it down into small steps and complete them one at a time.

Have you been bitten by the planner bug?  Swing by the store now and check out all the lovely supplies you need to get organised!

Planner Friday - July

Hello!  I am Amanda from She's Eclectic and I'm here for another Planner Friday!  I love to create pretty and practical planner pages using products from Annie's Paper Boutique, they help keep me organised and have some fun while I do it too!

Products used:
Ink

My pages are usually pretty full when my children are at school, there always seems to be a club, assembly or performance going on that I need to write down!  Now it is finally the summer holiday here in the UK I have quite a lot of empty space to play with so I decided to break out my journaling stamps again.  I haven't used them for a while and I thought it would be nice to record how I am feeling each day.

Journaling stamps

Between them the Feeling Funny and Feeling Happy sets have over 60 different stamps to choose from so it is quite easy to find one that covers how you are feeling.  Also recording my mood in my planner makes me more mindful of negative emotions, knowing I am using one word to sum up my day gives me a little push towards staying positive.  On Tuesday I started off the day feeling lazy (and yes, there is a stamp for that!) but instead I gave my head a shake and decided I would get things done so my word for the day ended up being "Determined" as I ploughed my way through my tasks!

My week so far...

Thank you so much for joining me for another Planner Friday!  If you are feeling inspired to get organised why not stop by the store and check out the planning supplies?  I hope to see you again next month!

Trendy Twine- Patriotic Flipbook Album

Hi Everyone!
Kimberly from Kimberly's Crafty Spot.
Today I am sharing a project featuring Stars & Stripes Trendy Twine
and several different products from Annie's Paper Boutique.
I made an Envelope Flipbook album with a 4th of July theme to document the holiday.

The front cover of the book.

I made a paper clip with some "Made with Love" ribbon and Totally White Trendy Twine.

Close up of the closure made with Stars & Stripes Trendy Twine
and charm on the front that says "Made with Love".

Each page has a photo spot inside the envelope pocket with a circle tab. I added a Metallic Silver Mini Envelope with a journaling tag or photo spot and a velcro enclosure. On the top of the page, I used a cut apart from the paper pad and stamped some words from several stamp sets, 'Amazing' and 'Thankful' from the Feeling Happy! stamp set and the 'Blessed'  from the Hello Fall stamp set.

On this page, I used three of the cut aparts and added a Totally Red, Totally White and Totally Navy Trendy Twine bow to each one.

For this next envelope or page, I added a photo mat with another cut apart
and I made another paper clip with some Stars & Stripes Trendy Twine added to the top.

This page I made a pocket with a bigger page element and added a tag and small photo spot and another paper clip that added some ribbon and Star & Stripes Trendy Twine.

On the White Parcel Tag, I used a Blue Grid Trendy Page Dot then stamped a few sentiments from the Foodies Stamp set and the lines from the Check It Off: stamp set then finished the tag with some Totally Red Trendy Twine.

On the back of the tag, I added some more lines to journal on from the Check it Off stamp set.

For the last page, I used a Manila Paper pocket and made a tag from the paper and added a Red Chevron Trendy Page Dot and some Totally Navy Trendy Twine to the tag. I wrapped some Totally White Trendy Twine to the pocket to accent the blue.

On the tag, I stamped the "Holiday" and "Family Time" from the At Home stamp set and the bottom heart label stamp is from the Check it Off stamp set and its perfect to document the date.

White Parcel tag- Size #2

Planner Friday - May

Can you believe Planner Friday has come around again already?  It feels like I was only just here with you sharing my ideas for pretty and practical planner pages and now I am back again!

My week before the ink

When I decorate my pages I usually leave myself plenty of space for my to do lists, reminders and notes, especially if I am not sure how busy my week is going to be.  If I have any blank spaces left once the week is part way through and I have a better idea of how much room I need, then I fill them in with either stamps, stickers or doodles.

Ink

Tea cups!

My theme for this week was the Mad Hatter's tea party so I used a couple of stamp sets that had cute cups in them for some added decoration.  I liked pairing the smaller cups from the Need Coffee set with the larger ones from the Drinks & More set, they remind me of mismatched tableware which is how I imagine the Hatter's table would have been laid.

All filled in

If you want to get creative with your planner pages then Annie's Paper Boutique has everything you need to get started, why not take a look now and see what takes your fancy?

I will be back next month with a new set of stamps to show you, I hope I'll see you then!
