Trendy Bakers Twine--Celebrate!

Hello everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  This month, we are featuring Orange Limeade Trendy Twine and the Cotton Muslin Bags.  I also used an Orange Tag-It, a Lime Chevron Trendy Page Dot, and some Twisted Lime Sequins.

I decided to stamp on my Cotton Muslim Bag.  I used a stamp platform so I could stamp several times to make sure the color is good.  It took about three times each to get a good image.  I used an orange ink and a lime green ink to match the twine. This is a very easy way to decorate these bags!

After I put some candy in the bag, I tied my Orange Limeade Trendy Twine around the top.  Then, I pulled out and Orange Tag-It and cut it down.  I wanted all the Celebrate sentiments to show. And then I stamped my other sentiment and added a few Twisted Lime Sequins.

This is a quick and easy little gift--you can add a gift card in here along with candy!

There's a lot of fun projects this month!  Be sure to keep checking back all month long so you don't miss out.

Trendy Twine -- Dropping By!

Hello everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations. For today's project, I used the Twine of the Month, Chocolate TruffleMedium Clear Pillow Boxes, the Smile & Foodies Planner Stamp Sets, a white Tag-It and a Trendy Page Dot

The clear boxes are just so fun! It really does not take much to dress them up.  This time, I cut some pattern paper about 2 1/2 inches wide and wrapped it around.  Then, I wrapped my Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine around the other way.

For the tag, I inked the edges with some brown ink and stamped the sentiment and cute little candy bar. I added some silver to the ends of the candy with a glitter pen and a few stick on gems.  Before tying the bow, I added a Chevron Page Dot to match the twine.

Make sure to keep stopping by all month long--there's a lot of fun projects to see!

Trendy Twine- Have a Happy Day Monkey treat bag

Hi Everyone!
Kimberly from Kimberly's Crafty Spot.
Today I am back sharing a treat bag using some fun
Annie's Paper Boutique products and Trendy Twine.

I started my project out with a Yellow Glassine bag, I decorated a panel that I cut to fit the front, with a print and cut monkey from the Silhouette store, next to the cute monkey I added a sentiment from the Smile stamp set that I heat embossed in white. Next I added some Lemon Peppermint Trendy Twine to create a little ground for the monkey to sit on. To the top of the bag, I made two holes and added some Chevron Trendy Page Dots in Red and sealed the bag with more Lemon Peppermint Trendy Twine after I filled it with some jolly ranchers.

Planner Friday - May

Can you believe Planner Friday has come around again already?  It feels like I was only just here with you sharing my ideas for pretty and practical planner pages and now I am back again!

My week before the ink

When I decorate my pages I usually leave myself plenty of space for my to do lists, reminders and notes, especially if I am not sure how busy my week is going to be.  If I have any blank spaces left once the week is part way through and I have a better idea of how much room I need, then I fill them in with either stamps, stickers or doodles.

Ink

Tea cups!

My theme for this week was the Mad Hatter's tea party so I used a couple of stamp sets that had cute cups in them for some added decoration.  I liked pairing the smaller cups from the Need Coffee set with the larger ones from the Drinks & More set, they remind me of mismatched tableware which is how I imagine the Hatter's table would have been laid.

All filled in

If you want to get creative with your planner pages then Annie's Paper Boutique has everything you need to get started, why not take a look now and see what takes your fancy?

I will be back next month with a new set of stamps to show you, I hope I'll see you then!

Trendy Twine- Holly Berry Sequins Shaker Tags

Hi Everyone!
Kimberly from Kimberly's Crafty Spot.

Today I am sharing some Holiday shaker tags with the new Holly Berry Sequin mix,

For my shaker tags, I took 2 of each color Kraft and White card stock and cut a simple tag shape
from my Silhouette and stamped the sentiments on the front and back of the tags. Then I used a Tree die to cut one of the tags for the shaker window. I added some clear acetate to the cut window, then some foam adhesive for dimension. Then I was able to add some of the new Holly Berry sequins.
Adhered the second tag and the shaker tag was just about done. I added a Chevron Trendy Page Dot in Red and some Holly Berry Trendy Twine to the tag and they were done!

I added a stamped From: and To: to the back of the tags.
