Trendy Bakers Twine~Spring Candy Wrapper Kit

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here.  Today I am sharing a darling new product available at Annie's Paper Boutique called the Festive Stripes Candy Wrapper Kit.  Actually, there are three candy wrapper kits now available that are just darling and are a snap to put together for favors or simply a treat to let someone know you care.
As I said, I used the Festive Stripes Candy Wrapper Kit.  I love the colorful stripes on the paper, but the back side has the pink polka dots which I also love, so I used both!  I simply added a mini Glue dot to the back of the candy, placed the wrapper around the candy, then secured the end of the wrapper with another Glue Dot.  These fit Hershey's Miniatures candies perfectly! I tied a bit of Lemon Tart Trendy Twine around the three pink polka dot wrappers and slid them into the included clear bag,  For a topper, I started with a Sky Tag-It, stamped a sentiment on it in black in from the Choose Happy stamp set, then added a Pink Midnight Trendy Page Dot and Lemon Tart Trendy Twine at the top.  I used the Cottage Cutz Kayla Butterfly die to create the pretty butterfly for the tag.  The tag was attached to the bag with two more Glue Dots.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine~Princess Card

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  This month we are featuring Lemon Tart Trendy Twine, which is what I used on this card.  I just love how bright and cheerful that twist of Trendy Twine is!
I started by adding washi tape at an angle on the white cardstock panel.  I then glued the Lemon Tart Trendy Twine above and below the washi tape to create even more angled lines.  I used a stamp platform with stamps from the Smile stamp set and black ink for the sentiment.  I added a bow of Lemon Tart Trendy Twine and Cotton Candy Sequins with Lineco Adhesive.  The white panel was matted with a loopy rectangle die cut of black cardstock.  I chose an aqua card base to it would have a peek of color through the die cut.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine~Minion Take Out Box

Hello everyone!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today.  This month we are featuring Lemon Tart Trendy Twine and Mini Kraft Take Out Boxes.  What I think of when I see yellow is....MINIONS!  My kids have all of the movies and have even given themselves minion nicknames ;) So naturally, I had to make this treat box with that theme.
I started with a Mini Kraft Take Out Box and covered the sides with Minion cardstock.  Once that was on, I framed the front "Bob" panel with Lemon Tart Trendy Twine using Lineco adhesive and a precision tip bottle.  After filling the box with treats, I created the tag.
I stamped a sentiment from the You've Got Mail stamp set and stamped it in brown ink onto a Mango Tag-It.  I decorated the tag with a Kraft Brown Trendy Page Dot and Frosted Cranberry Sequins, then tied it with a bow of Lemon Tart Trendy Twine to the box handle.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Twine ~ Bacon and Eggs Card

Who doesn't love bacon and eggs?  Hello all, Beth from Beth's Beauties here.  This card was so much fun to make!  I started out with papers from DCWV's Good Eats stack and immediately knew I had to pair it with the adorable Perfect Pairs stamp set from Annie's Paper Boutique.
The plaid background paper was cut with GMD stitched rectangle die.  I added Cranberry and Lemon Tart Trendy Twines to the banners and homemade enamel dots in the top right corner.
For the "plate"  I used Cottage Cutz stitched circle dies and shaded around the layers with light brown ink for dimension.  I used my Hampton Art Stamp Perfect to position the stamps on the plate and stamped them with Versafine Onyx Black ink.  The images are from APB Perfect Pairs stamp set and the sentiment is from APB We Go Together stamp set.  I stamped a second set of images and colored them with colored pencils, added glossy accents to them and popped them up with foam tape.

Trendy Twine -- A Sunny Birthday

Hello everyone! I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  Today I have a quick card using Lemon Tart Trendy Twine, Lemon Tart Sequins, and the new Smile stamp set.

I just love this new stamp set -- it has great sentiments and I just love the different fonts used on them.  I need a few birthday cards this week and this set was perfect to use on my sunshine card.  I used a die to cut out the sunshine and the white scalloped base.

I wrapped some of my Lemon Tart Trendy Twine around the card twice and then tied a double bow on there.  The sun is pop dotted on and I stamped the Happy Birthday on the bottom right.  It needed a little more bling so I added several Lemon Tart Sequins and some Clear Wink of Stella to the sunbeams on the sun.

All the yellow makes me happy and I think the person getting the card will like it too.

Be sure to keep coming back this month--there are lots of fun projects still to come!

Trendy Twine -- Apples and Pens

Hello everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  This month, the Trendy Gals are featuring the Skinny and I Medium Candy Bags and we are all using a fun different Trendy Twine.

Today, I have a quick back to school gift using the Skinny Candy Bags and some yummy Lemon Tart Trendy Twine.  I just love this twist--it makes me so happy!

I have a thing for pens and all kinds of office supply goodies, so when I was looking for something fun to put in my Skinny Candy Bag, I was very excited to find these fun gel pens.  I picked up a few in different colors, but these yellow ones were perfect for my Lemon Tart Trendy Twine.  I was even more excited to see that they are glitter gel pens :)

I used my Cricut to cut out this adorable apple tag.  It's a small two inches.  I was going to stamp something on it, but really like the normal apple look.  I did add some small Nuvo Drops on the green leaf.

The Lemon Tart Trendy Twine is wrapped around the Skinny bag a few times at the time and then I finished it off with a bow.  It's pretty simple, but I wanted to show off the pen in the Skinny Candy Bag to show that you can used other things besides candy in these great bags.

Please be sure to stop by all month to see the fun projects and different twine everyone is using!

Have a great day!

Trendy Twine~Spring Gift

Good morning my crafty friends!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today. This month, we are spotlighting the GORGEOUS Grape Fizz Trendy Twine.
I created this sweet gift using a Medium Candy Bag.  It fit a half sheet of Jamberry nail wraps for a gift perfectly!  For the topper, I used DCWV's Bouquet De Fleur paper stack and made a multi-layer flower.  I used loops of the Grape Fizz Trendy Twine on the layers of the flower.  For the center of the flower, I added a button and wound Lemon Tart Trendy Twine on it.

Project Life cards with APB Planner Stamps

Hi Everyone!
Kimberly from Kimberly's Crafty Spot.
I hope you are having a great week so far!
Today, I am sharing some springtime Project Life cards using
Annie's Paper Boutique Planner stamps and some Trendy Twine.

I made a pocket journaling/filler card
with the Check It Off stamp set.
I stamped the smaller lines on a tag die cut then added the hearts twice.
Then I stamped the "This Week", the "Notes" and stars from the same set.
I added some Lemon Tart Trendy Twine to the top of my tag to finish it off.

This card is window filler card. I used the banner stamps
from Check It Off and a few words from Feeling Happy stamp sets.
I extended the second banner by stamping it twice in order to fit the "I'm Feeling."

On the inside of the window, I stamped the small set of line from Check It Off to journal on
and then added the "Under The Weather" from the Feeling Happy Stamp set.
Then I added some Lemon Tart Trendy Twine to the side of the card and
some Totally Pink Trendy Twine for the tie closure of the window.

Make sure to check out all these supplies available in the store.
Thanks for stopping by and for all the details please visit my blog.
Have a great day!!

Guest Designer: Christine Drogt from Create A Smile

Hi everyone,

this is Christine from Create A Smile :)
I am honored to be Guest Designing here today. I've been using Trendy Twine for quite a while because I loooove the quality and the colors (multicolored bakers twine - give me some more!) and fortunately Lesley Ann liked my projects - so I got an invitation to be guest - yay!

The Idea behind:

It's pretty simple: i wanted to show that the combo of Trendy Twine and Create A Smile products can be used for both: Fun and elegant cards. So I made two very different, yet simple cards :)

These are the two cards that I created:

1) Fun and cute:

2) Classy and elegant

Here's a close up so you can see the twine a little better:

Instructions/ Ideas:
  • use your trendy twine to put it on tags, add a backdrop underneath your focal point or to add some interest to a die cut pattern. Make it bold or go subtile :)
  • I think all the other steps are quite obvious: Stamp your image, color it, fuzzy cut it and assemble the cards ;)

Supplies:

Twine:
Tickled with Teal Trendy Twine - Teal, Lt Teal, & WhiteLemon Tart Trendy Twine - Yellow & White Bakers Twine
Cranberry Trendy Twine - Red & White Bakers Twine
