Planner Friday - Halloween special

Hi!  I'm Amanda from She's Eclectic and I'm the resident planner girl here on the Trendy Twine blog.  If, like me, you're a fan of paper planning then you will love the range of stamps Annie's Paper Boutique have created over the years!  There are practical everyday sets, school life stamps, journalling and scrapbooking kits, special occasion and holiday sets and some really cute image stamps too.

As it is almost Halloween I wanted to show you my spooky themed week I have created using some APB stamps!

If I can, I like to pair my pages's theme with a matching set of Trendy Page Dots reinforcements as they strengthen the paper around the holes and add an extra pop of colour to my spread.  For Halloween I had these awesome skull and pumpkin designs to work with!

Halloween Trendy Page Dots

As usual I started my decoration by adding strips of washi tape to the top and bottom of my pages, followed by the Trendy Page Dots.

I have daily to do lists and reminders so I used the Check It Off set to print some tick boxes (or circles in this case!) and then added what I need to do and remember with the At Home and More At Home stamps.  Anything I don't have a stamp for I fill in with a pen.

Any space I have left over afterwards I use for fun!

My Halloween themed week

I used the quote stamps from my Happy Halloween set on a few of the days and highlighted Saturday and Sunday with a Weekend banner.  For the pumpkins, candy and treats I used stamps from the Hello FallFoodies and Drinks & More sets and then coloured them in once the ink was dry.

The Happy Halloween stamps are on sale right now and you can find some more inspiration for how to use them here on the blog, why don't you take a peek now while you are here?

Happy Halloween and see you again soon for another Planner Friday!

Trendy Twine - Sweet Treat

Hi Trendy Fans,

This is Shelly from My Paper Love sharing a quick little party treat. This is such a quick and easy treat using a few fun items from The Trendy Store.

I started with our showcase twine this month Bubblegum Taffy, this twine make me want to blow lots of bubblegum bubbles :) Our theme is Sweet Treats, so here is a fun party treat to leave your guests with and the end of the day.

I love the Clear small treat bags they are shaped like mini lunch bags. perfect for candy, they are great for large gumballs, simply pick the color and match your party decor perfectly.

In this case I used the awesome color scheme of the Bubblegum Taffy, it's so yummy! I filled the bag with the gumballs, added a very simple tag and die cut "Sweet" and stamped treat from the Foodies Planner Stamps

I tied the Bubblegum Taffy in a great big bow and it was complete. So simple and quick!

Hope you stop by the blog and have a look at all the FUN!

APB Stamps & Project Life- October Project Life cards

Hi Everyone!
Kimberly from Kimberly's Crafty Spot.
Today I am sharing some Halloween inspired Project Life cards.

I die cut my 3x4 cards from some patterned paper and card stock.
I also die cut the letters for the "October" out of glitter cardstock,
then I embellished with some Grape Licorice Trendy Twine.
The second card, I heat embossed the word "Spooky" with white embossing powder then I added some fun spiderweb glitter stickers and my gem "Spider" with some Grape Licorice Trendy Twine.
Then I added some Bat sequins to both cards from the Grape Licorice Batty- Halloween sequin mix.

This card can be used as a Monthly title card.
The colors are so bright and fun!
They match the Grape Licorice Trendy Twine nicely.
Isn't that cute candy from the Foodies stamp set so cute!!
We know what Halloween is all about, CANDY, of course!

The second card I made as a filler card or just to decorate. So fun!
This can even be used on a regular card as the focal point!

Thank you so much for stopping by today,

Planner Friday - September

Hello, I'm Amanda from She's Eclectic and I am here to share my ideas for decorating your planner pages with products from Annie's Paper Boutique.  I love a splash of colour and to make things fun as well as practical, it is a great way to help me stay organised!

Planning my week

Supplies used: Weekend Planner Stamp

I like to use washi tape and Trendy Page Dots circle reinforcements to brighten up my diary pages before I start filling them with reminders and my to do lists.  I also use planner stamps to save me time instead of having to write the same things in week after week and I think they look a lot neater than my handwriting.

Brain dump

Sometimes I use note cards to jot down random things I need to remember, having them on a separate piece of paper also makes them easier to see when I first open my planner.  Flamingos have been quite a big trend this year and I love them so when I saw these mini flamingo cards I couldn't wait to use them!  Aren't they cute?

I used a couple of stamps from the Title It set to add the headings Brain Dump and Miscellaneous to the card ready for any notes I needed to make during the week.  I think the set is really useful so I will be showing you more ways I use it next month.

My week now...

Have a great weekend and I will see you again next month!

Trendy Twine - Pillow Box Treats

Hi Trendy Fans!

This is Shelly from My Paper Love and I'm sharing some fun treats for a backyard party. We have movie nights and BBQ's quite often in the summer and since we are showcasing the most awesome twine & pillow boxes  I took this opportunity to make some fun treats.

I started with the Medium Clear pillow boxes and filled them with some yummy cookies and cream candy. I wrapped them with some burlap and Aqua Midnight Trendy Twine

I also attached this sweet little tag that I stamped with the Foodies stamps. Oh I think this little candy guy is so cute!!

You can find these products in the Boutique to create some fun treats for your next party.

Have a GREAT day!

Planner Friday - July

Hi!  I'm Amanda from She's Eclectic and I am here for another Planner Friday, where I share with you how I decorate my planner pages to help keep me organised.

I find the best way to keep on top of everything I need to do and remember is to check my planner throughout the day and having fun pages means I am more likely to open it up and take a peek.

Supplies used this week: Trendy Page Dots Circle Reinforcements

I decided to do something different with my layout this week, I used the lined Check It Off stamp for a change.  I have seen a lot of people use this one in their Erin Condren planners and I liked how it looked.  It is very handy for people like me who end up writing on a slant if they use unlined paper!

My extra to do list

This week I had a lot of things going on at my children's school.  Here in the UK the summer holiday doesn't start until the middle of July and I find the school tends to squeeze all the events into the final two weeks.  Thursday was an especially busy day as I had to attend two sport events (one in the morning and one in the afternoon) and then three parents evening appointments during and after school.  I didn't have enough room to make a note of all of the times on my planner page so I used a To Do Journalling Tag to record all the extra info. I just made a note on my page to remind me to check the list that day.  I also used an ice cream stamp from the Foodies Set just because it is so cute and it went with my summer theme.

My week so far

If you are feeling creative why not stop by the store and see what takes you fancy?

I will see you again next month for more planner fun!

Preparing my week

This week I am using these new Foodies Planner Stamps to add a touch of cuteness to my pages.  I think they are adorable! I have used them to mark special days in the week like taco night (my favourite!), Shrove Tuesday and a family trip to Pizza Hut for a treat.  The set has a nice mix of word and image stamps so they are very versatile!
