Trendy Bakers Twine -- Bewitched Halloween

Hello everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations and  I'm sharing a bewitching Halloween card with you. I used the fabulous Gray Licorice Trendy Twine on it and some black sequins from the Grape Licorice Batty Sequins Mix.

I made this card way back in September because we moved October 5th.  And my room is still not unpacked so it was a good idea to have this ready LOL! (I did find my box of Trendy Twine though!)  The paper came from a Halloween stack and the spiders, tomb and stamp are from My Creative Time. I did add clear Wink of Stella to the spiders.

I carefully glued my Gray Licorice Trendy Twine around my tomb and added a bow.  I wanted to add the twine to the part of the web the spider is hanging from too, but it was too small and was not working for me. Then I added some black sequins from the Grape Licorice Batty Sequins to the middles of some of the webs.

There are  more fun projects to come this month so keep checking back!

Trendy Baker's Twine - Have a FANG-tastic Day!

Hello and welcome, everyone!
Guest Designer, Lisa from The Relativity of Paper.

Today I'm back with a fun way to send our crafty friends a few goodies for Halloween. Of course, this would easily translate to any holiday or celebration.

The Treat Packets make quick work of this project and here's a fun tip: treat packets emboss beautifully! I laid each treat packet flat in an embossing folder and ran it through my BigKick. I die-cut two banners and stamped the sentiment, Have a FANG-tastic Day, from the Happy Halloween Stamp Set using black ink. I cut two bats using my Silhouette, added googly eyes, and just cut white fangs from scrap paper. I added Gray Licorice Trendy Twine to one of the bat's wings. Add a piece of 3D mounting foam to the back of each bat and adhere the die-cut sentiment banner, set aside.

The treat packets come with small clear baggies that are perfect for adding a small candy bar or candy corn. I removed the packaging and staple from the Grape Licorice Batty Sequins and Orange Licorice Batty Sequins. The sequins come in the same small baggie that comes with the treat packets. I added the small paper spool of Trendy Twine in with the coordinating sequins and sealed it back up. Once you have the sequins, trendy twine and candy packaged place the baggies inside the treat packets to align, punch two holes through the treat packets and baggies, making sure to punch the holes above the seal on the baggies. Tie the treat packets closed with Gray Licorice Trendy Twine and adhere the bats with the attached sentiment.

Trendy Twine -- Halloween Shaker Witch

Hello everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  I have a quick Halloween Shaker card to show you today.

I found some fun chunky glitter at Michael's about a month ago that matched this Grape Limeade Trendy Twine.  So I knew I wanted to make a shaker card.  The witch circle is from a Cricut cartridge. I just kept cutting it out until it was slightly bigger than the circle die I wanted to use for the shaker window.

I also used an edge die to cut off part of the card front.  It helps add some color from the background paper.  The stamp is from the fabulous Happy Halloween Stamp Set you can buy from the store.  I glued down the witch circle and then glued my Grape Limeade Trendy Twine around that and the bottom of my card front.

Along with the chunky glitter, I added some Grape Licorice Batty Sequins from the store.  I also used some of those same sequins on the front of the card.

Have a Happy Halloween!

APB Stamps- Witchy Treat bag

Hi Everyone!
Kimberly from Kimberly's Crafty Spot.
Today I am sharing a project using some
product available at Annie's Paper Boutique.
I made a treat bag for some fun Halloween goodies!!

I decorated the Purple Chevron Treat bag with a fun witch that I colored with color pencils. I fussy cut her out, added a twine bow and put her on the bag. The sentiments are heat embossed in silver on black cardstock then die cut. The bottom sentiment is added to a vellum panel then die cut. Next, I added some of the sequins from the Grape Licorice Batty Halloween sequin mix. Finally, I sealed the treat bag with some green washi tape and a small clothespin.

Trendy Twine~ Trick or Treat Skinny Candy Bags

Good Morning Everyone!
Jessica from Chick-n-Scrap here!
Can you believe Halloween is in just 2 days ?? Are you ready for your trick or treaters??
What about those treats for class parties??
Today's project is perfect for that using my featured products of the month
Grape Licorice Trendy Twine and the Skinny Candy Bags
Now a days schools are pushing for less treats to be sent into class for parties (at least in our area) so I have a solution that is still LOTS of fun to give and receive. These school age  kiddos LOVE to get fun holiday pencils and you can find them for every holiday and in just about every color! Well why not grab 2 and slide them onto the Skinny Candy Bags? They fit perfectly and dressed up with a cute holiday tag...you can have these ready to hand out in no time!
For my tag, I made a mini shaker on the bottom using the newly released Grape Licorice Batty sequins. Then using stamps and dies from My Creative Time for my tag,  I attached it onto the Skinny Candy Bag by wrapping some of the beautiful and perfectly matching Grape Licorice Trendy Twine several time around the bag and tying it into a bow. Some random Grape Licorice Batty sequins completed my project and these are now ready to be given out.

Trendy Twine -- Happy Halloween

Hello everyone! I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  Today I have a shaker card to share using Grape Licorice Trendy Twine and some Grape Licorice Batty - Halloween Sequins.  This is now my 2nd shaker card ever!

After cutting out the circle for the shaker window, I decided that the Grape Licorice Trendy Twine would look good around the outside.  Then, after adding the sequin mix and the cutout bats to the card, I lined the outside of the top base with the twine too.  I think it made it look a bit better.

After it was done, the cutout bats were still a bit plain.  so I pulled out my silver Wink of Stella pen and sparkled them.  I like how that look and you can see it in the picture above that I took when the card was lying flat.  I also added a few sequins to the card and the banner at the bottom.

Be sure to pick up the fun Halloween twists while they are on special at the store.  You don't have to just use them for the holiday :)

Have a fabulous day!!

APB Stamps & Project Life- October Project Life cards

Hi Everyone!
Kimberly from Kimberly's Crafty Spot.
Today I am sharing some Halloween inspired Project Life cards.

I die cut my 3x4 cards from some patterned paper and card stock.
I also die cut the letters for the "October" out of glitter cardstock,
then I embellished with some Grape Licorice Trendy Twine.
The second card, I heat embossed the word "Spooky" with white embossing powder then I added some fun spiderweb glitter stickers and my gem "Spider" with some Grape Licorice Trendy Twine.
Then I added some Bat sequins to both cards from the Grape Licorice Batty- Halloween sequin mix.

This card can be used as a Monthly title card.
The colors are so bright and fun!
They match the Grape Licorice Trendy Twine nicely.
Isn't that cute candy from the Foodies stamp set so cute!!
We know what Halloween is all about, CANDY, of course!

The second card I made as a filler card or just to decorate. So fun!
This can even be used on a regular card as the focal point!
