Trendy Twine - Back to School Treats!

Good day to all my bloggy friends!
I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend!
It's Millie from Crafting with Creative M with Back to School treats.

I continued with the Back To School theme and made some back to school treats!
I filled the Skinny Candy Bags with Smarties...Yummy!
I used the Teddy Bear Cartridge for my adorable die cuts.
Once I assembled the bears, I adhered them to the center of the tag-its and
placed a Pink Cherry Loop De Loop Trendy Page Dot to the top portion of each tag-its.
Then I stamped the "Smile & Hello" sentiments from the New "Smile" Stamp Set from APB on a die cut banner. Next, I looped the Celebration Trendy Twine and adhered each tag to the Skinny Candy Bags with glue dots.

Tag #1
I used the Red Tag-Its.

Tag #2
I used the Yellow Tag-Its.

Here is a closer view of the super cute treats!!

Here are some of the items that I used.

Trendy Twine ~ A+ School Card

Hi crafty friends!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today, and this month we are focusing on Back to School projects.
This card uses paper from DCWV's Grade School stack and the colors of Cherry Midnight Trendy Twine coordinated with it perfectly!  I use the twine to wrap around the center panel as well as creating the full bow on the tag.  The tag consists of a Red Tag-It (LOVE these!!) and sentiments from the NEW Smile stamp set.

Adding Detail with Trendy Twine

Raechelle here sharing the last of my projects for my Guest Designer month with Trendy Twine.

Dressing up pre-printed "tails" are an easy way to add some fun and dimension to any project. I used the Berries Jubilee Trendy Twine to do so on a 3x4 patterned paper piece as well as a sticker.

I added some Glossy accents to the butterflies since they looked so flat on the paper after I applied the twine.

You can find this great twine color along with many more by visiting the Annie's Paper Boutique store

Trendy Twine - Sending Hugs Candy Treats

Hi There!

This is Shelly from My Paper Love sharing some fun candy treats for any occasion. They would be super cute for Back to school treats, get well treats, Valentine treats or just because treats! I've used the new Smile stamp set and boy am I loving all the fun sentiments.

I started my treats with the skinny candy bags and filled them with red hot candy.

I created some fun little tags to go with my candy bags. I simply die cut some stitched tags and coordinated my pattern papers.

I added a die cut heart and stamped the sentiment on the heart. I picked two sentiments from the Smile stamp set that are universal and can be used for almost any occasion.

I wrapped each tag with Cranberry Twine and looped the top.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Trendy Twine- Smile Rainbow treat

Hi everyone!
Kimberly from Kimberly's Crafty spot.
I hope you are having a wonderful August!

This month the Design team is featuring Back to School projects.

For my project, I used the Skinny Candy Bags and Skittles.
They are always a favorite. I used the Kraft Tag-Its
from Annie's Paper Boutique.
I die cut a rainbow and cloud and added them to the tag, next I stamped and heat embossed in white the "Smile" from the Smile stamp set. I added a Yellow Polka Dot Trendy Page dot to the top and used some Totally Red Trendy Twine to attach the tag to the Skinny Candy Bag.

I added some wink of stella clear glitter to the rainbow and heart,
then some glossy accents to the heart.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!

Trendy Twine - Summer

Hello!  This is Sukie and I have a single page layout to share today featuring some gorgeous Raspberry Cupcake Trendy Twine.  This twine is one of my favorite colors and was the inspiration for my layout page.  My page started with some fun papers from the DCWV Watercolor Stack.  The flamingo, tree, sunglasses and sun were all cut from the KaDoodle Bug Designs Paradise Found cutting file.  The title was cut from the Lia Griffith projects in Cricut Design Space.
Several different punches and dies were used for the flowers.  The twine was used to accent the photo mat, die cuts and the flag in the corner of the layout page.  I also cut a bit more greenery to tuck around the flowers.  A doily from my stash was layered over the patterned paper for another pop of color.
Head on over to Annie's Paper Boutique to check out the gorgeous twine I used for my project. Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!

comp book and pencil pouch

Raechelle here sharing another project I created for my GDT month for Trendy Twine

Keeping with the back to school theme, I created this comp book and felt pencil pouch set with one of the August Spotlight Colors, Berries Jubilee Trendy Twine

Instead of using floss, I stitched the felt die cut pencil pouch with the Berries Jubilee Trendy Twine. It's not as "neat" as it might have been using the floss, but it looks cool and works just the same. :)

I also added a twine bow and accent piece along seam.

Planner Friday - August

Hello!  I thought I would do something a little different for Planner Friday today and show you my "everyday carry" planning supplies.

I keep a pen in the loop of my planner but I like to have a few more products with me when I am on the go.  I keep them in a little travel pouch which holds lots of goodies but doesn't take up too much room in my bag.

Annie's Paper Boutique products:

Pens, paper clips & pencils

I like to have a few colourful pens with me and some note cards and journal tags to record memories and reminders.

My favourite planning pencils

These are my favourite pencils, I love the planning quotes on them and the pink and mint colours are so pretty!

Note cards, page dots and more cute clips

I also carry a few Trendy Page Dots reinforcements and some fun paper clips to adorn my planner pages.   I am completely obsessed with these new gold clips, I love the To Do and Plan ones as they are pretty and practical and then the Coffee, Camera and Love Letter clips are super sweet!  I tend to use mine as page markers and to highlight important information but they are great for adding a bit of fun decoration to your planner as well.

Has anything here has caught your eye? Then why not pop over to the store and treat yourself?  Go on, you know you deserve it!

Trendy Twine -- A Sunny Birthday

Hello everyone! I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  Today I have a quick card using Lemon Tart Trendy Twine, Lemon Tart Sequins, and the new Smile stamp set.

I just love this new stamp set -- it has great sentiments and I just love the different fonts used on them.  I need a few birthday cards this week and this set was perfect to use on my sunshine card.  I used a die to cut out the sunshine and the white scalloped base.

I wrapped some of my Lemon Tart Trendy Twine around the card twice and then tied a double bow on there.  The sun is pop dotted on and I stamped the Happy Birthday on the bottom right.  It needed a little more bling so I added several Lemon Tart Sequins and some Clear Wink of Stella to the sunbeams on the sun.

All the yellow makes me happy and I think the person getting the card will like it too.

Be sure to keep coming back this month--there are lots of fun projects still to come!
