Trendy Bakers Twine Easter Blessings Layout

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with something a little different than I usually create...a 12x12 scrapbook page! My now 5 year old daughter reminded me that I still don't have her first year album completed, so I took the opportunity to work on that a bit with this month's Trendy Twine twist, Watermelon Taffy.
Patterned papers are from Echo Park's Celebrate Easter paper pad. For captions, I used a Pink Bracket Card, then added Christmas Mint Trendy Page Dots in the curve of the side brackets, used a hole punch to punch the paper out of the center of the dots and wrapped and tied Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine in both areas. Documenting the Everyday stamp set was perfect for stamping sentiments on the page! The inks I used were VersaFine Onyx Black and VersaFine Clair Charming Pink.
The title was created in Sure Cuts a Lot, cut out on my Silhouette Cameo and popped up with foam tape. I wrapped Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine around the corner of the photo and embellished throughout the page with Pink Diamonds Sparkling Gems that I glued on with Bearly Art Precision glue. One other embellishment I used was a metallic orange washi tape.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Annie's Paper Boutique also has an awesome little Watermelon Taffy Sampler. Each color is ten yards in length and is wound on a wooden clothespin for easy use and storage. Colors in the set are Limeade, Watermelon Taffy, and Tickled Pink.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Grow Layout

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here today to share a scrapbook layout I recently created. It features one of our twists of the month, Lemon Peppermint Trendy Twine.

I knew I wanted to scrapbook this photo as soon as I saw it!  My brother took my daughter's 2 year photos and I immediately fell in love with this one.  The papers I used are from DCWV's Watercolor Garden stack.  I cut out a black cardstock mat for the photo using my Silhouette Cameo.  I laced Lemon Peppermint Trendy Twine through the holes in the black photo mat.  I also wanted to tie in some green, so I glued Twisted Lime Trendy Twine around the photo itself.  In the bottom right corner, I used a Leaf Green Tag-It and stamped sentiments from the APB Documenting the Everyday stamp set onto it.  I finished off the tag with a Cherry Latte Trendy Page Dot and more Lemon Peppermint Trendy Twine.
After having the photo how I wanted it, I needed to decide on a title.  The paper stack had decorative word panels in it and I thought the word "grow" was very fitting!  As a final embellishment, I glued Pink Diamonds Sparkling Gems near the photo for a little sparkle.
Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ Layout in Purples

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  This time I have a scrapbook layout to share.  While this layout isn't flashy or bright or elaborate, it is one of my favorites because a little bit of my heart is on this page.  The photo on it is of my precious baby girl during her "newborn" photo shoot in 2018.  It is the most perfect picture of her and it holds such a special place in my heart.  I guess that is the reason we scrapbook, right?! To preserve those memories!
First up, I started with papers from DCWV's Lilac Love stack and one piece from DCWV's Silver Leaf stack.  I decided on the placement of the elements on the page and thought the simple title "Love" would be perfect.  That was cut from vinyl with my Silhouette Cameo.  I knew I wanted to make the picture pop as the focal point, so I outlined the tan photo mat with Grape Fizz Trendy Twine using Lineco Adhesive in a precision tip bottle.
I knew I wanted to add some sparkle to the page, so I used Grape Fizz Sequins, plus white and silver gems to add some visual interest.
Last, but not least, I added a duo of tag-its.  One of my favorite things to do is to layer a darker color under the lighter one so the top tag really pops!  The supplies I used for this one include: Lavender Tag-ItGrape Tag-It, Krazy for Kraft Trendy Page Dot, Grape Fizz Trendy Twine, Documenting the Everyday stamp set, Charcoal ink, flower die and gems.

Planner Friday - September

Amanda here from She's Eclectic for Planner Friday. Hands up, who is excited for October and Halloween!  I am!  This month I am setting up a couple of journalling pages in my travellers notebook to record all the spooky fun we are going to have over the next few weeks.

Used but not pictured: Clear stamp block

October is one of my favourite months, the schools break up for a week, there's a ton of horror films on the TV and well, there's a lot of fun candy and treats to eat!  I started off by adding some washi tape to my pages and then glued in a mini calendar and mini index card so I can document anything I want to remember.  I also wanted to create some space on the other page for memories and a photo of us all dressed up for Halloween so I used some stamps from the Documenting The Everyday set.

Sweetie stamp from the Foodies set

Then it was time to break out my Happy HalloweenFoodies and Hello Fall stamp sets to add some decoration!

Space for stories and a photo

Eat drink and be scary - my perfect October!

Ready to record my month

The last step was to colour in all the images I had stamped, I used fineliners to make them look super vibrant and now I am ready to start recording the month on Monday.

If you love October and Halloween then the Happy Halloween stamp set is currently on sale, head over to the store now and take a peek at all the goodies!

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ 40th Birthday Card

Hello all and happy Thursday!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today.  This month we are spotlighting the very versatile Totally Kraft Trendy Twine.  I created this 40th birthday card using it.  It is 5x7", which is larger than the A2 size I normally make.
Using a White Large Tag-It, I cut a 40 out of it with my Silhouette Cameo and then added a sentiment from the APB Documenting the Everyday stamp set to the bottom.  Behind the 40 I adhered rows of Totally Kraft Trendy Twine to the back of the tag.  When that was done, I glued a Kraft Large Tag-It behind the white tag-it.  At the top of the tag, I added a Pink Midnight Trendy Page Dot and some Totally Kraft Trendy Twine.
The base of the card was created with The Paper Studio's Stonewashed 4.5x6.5 paper pad and black cardstock.  I wrapped Totally Kraft Trendy Twine around the banners and added Chocolate Truffle Sequins to the top right corner.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Planner Friday - July

Amanda here from She's Eclectic. It's finally summer and the schools have broken up for the holidays here in the UK!  I am all set for fun in the sun, days out and lots of adventures which I want to document in my cute little travellers notebook and Annie's Paper Boutique has the perfect stamps to help me do it!

Products used: Choose Happy stamps
Used but not pictured: Mini calendar card

I wanted to create a spread I could fill in whenever something memorable happened during the break so I got out my stamps and planning essentials and set to work!

My summer holiday spread

I started with a strip of washi tape along the top of the page and then added a sweet mini calendar which I filled in with the dates for August.  I am going to use this to record any important dates during the month and the week my husband has booked off work.

I used stamps from the Documenting The Everyday #1 & #2 sets to make sections for my memories and stories so now I have space for Family Time, So Fun, Time With Friends and room for my favourite photo I take over the summer.

Creating sections

I stamped my kraft tag-it with the Details stamp from the Documenting The Everyday #2 set and glued it next to the place I had made for my photo so I can write about when and where the picture was taken and why it is important to me.

The weather here has been glorious recently and I hope it continues through August too so I used the sun stamp from my How's The Weather set and underneath it I used the Shine Bright stamp from my Choose Happy set as my way of willing the sunshine to continue!

I'm a foodie!

I had some space left around the edge of my spread so I used some stamps from the You & MePerfect PairsFoodies and Drinks & More sets for extra decoration.  The last step was so add a few travel themed stickers and I tried to match them to the colours of the inks and the washi tape I had used to pull the whole thing together.

Do you like how it turned out?

If you want to document your summer then head over the store now and check out all the fun supplies and I'll see you again next month for another Planner Friday!

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ First Communion Scrapbook Page

Hello all and happy Wednesday!  Beth from Beth's Beauties with a project to share with you today.  This time it is a scrapbook page documenting my son's First Communion.
This month's featured Totally Blue Trendy Twine matched the pictures so well that I knew I had to use them together!  I used a Kraft Tag-It inside a Wee Glassine Envelope for journaling.  I added a Lime Orangesicle Trendy Page Dot and Totally Blue Trendy Twine to the tag along with a stamp from the APB Documenting The Everyday stamp set.  I also wrapped Totally Blue Trendy Twine around the bottom picture on the layout.
The White Tag-It was decorated and stamped with the same items as the first.  I also included die cuts of the title and the Communion chalice (svg from SVG Attic) to accent the page.  The patterned papers were from The Paper Studio's Pixey Stix stack.

Planner Friday - May

Summer is just around the corner and I can't wait!  Spring has been a mixed bag this year, we've had a lot of rain and even some snow this side of the pond so I am looking forward to spending time outside in the sunshine more than ever right now.  Today I thought I would document my ideal summer in my travellers notebook using some of my favourite APB stamps to really get me in the mood!

Products used:
Used but not pictured:

My perfect summer

So as you can see most of my favourite summer activities involve some kind of food!  Whenever I think of summer I always picture BBQs, ice cream and chilled glasses of wine, get togethers with family and friends and adventures!

I used stamps from the FoodiesDrinks & More and Perfect Pairs sets for the images in my spread and then coloured them in using pencil crayons.  The sun stamp was from the How's The Weather? set and I used yellow ink for that one so it would be nice and bright.

Then I used some stamps from the Choose HappyYou & MeDocumenting The Everyday #1 and #2 sets to add some quotes that remind me of summer to the pages!

Weekend plans

I used part of  Weekend stamp but I didn't ink the whole thing as I wanted to add an S to the end of it to make Weekends instead.  I love busy Saturdays followed by lazy Sundays especially in the summer!

What are your favourite things about summer?

If you fancy creating your own journalling spread then stop by the store now and pick up some stamps to get you started!

Planner Friday - March

Happy Easter!  I love the Easter holidays for a couple of reasons, one... well, it's chocolate and two getting to spend lots of time together with my family.  I wanted to document the holiday this year in my bullet journal so I raided my Annie's Paper Boutique supplies and created a candy coloured spread.

Products used: Tag its - pink and lemon
Used but not pictured:

I started by adding some strips of pretty washi tape to the top and bottom of the spread and then glued a couple of tag its onto the pages.  The tag its are great for adding a splash of colour and highlighting any information you want to stand out.

Recording the Easter holidays

I used the sun stamp from my How's The Weather set because I am wishing for some warm spring days while my children are off school, if the weather is awful though I have left myself space underneath the sun to record what it was actually like.

I used stamps from the Documenting The Everyday #1 and  #2 sets to make headings for my sections, some of them are on the tag its and the others are just on the paper.  Now I have space to record how we spent our family time, the "good stuff", things I want to remember and a place for my favourite photograph I take during the hoilday.  I used a stamp from the This Is December #2 set for the heading Traditions and this is where I will record the things we do to celebrate Easter each year.

I can't wait to start filling this in with my memories and musing and it will be nice to look back on these pages when my children are older and remember the times we spent together when the were small.

If you want to start journalling or add a little something extra to your currently journalling style then stop by the store and check out all the lovely supplies!

Enjoy the rest of the holiday and I will be back here next month for another Planner Friday!

Planner Friday - November

Yes!  We are so close to December I can almost taste it!  I can't wait for the festive period to start so I thought for this month's Planner Friday I would show you my Christmas themed spread in my Travellers Notebook.

My Christmas spread

I wanted to record some of my favourite things about Christmas and list the things I am looking forward to doing next month so I got to work with my Annie's Paper Boutique stamps!  I absolutely LOVE my Christmas stamp sets, they are full of fun and quirky quotes that are perfect for journalling, card making, gift tags and lots more!

On the first page I have used the Christmas Movies stamp from the This is December set for the list of films I want to watch over the holidays and I added a couple of stamps from the Foodies set as there will definitely be snacks involved while I watch them!  Frozen is a family favourite in this house so the Do you want to build a snowman? stamp from the Let It Snow set just had to make an appearance too!

On the second page I have a list of things I need to do but they are also things I enjoy.  I can't wait to put up the tree, cover the house in decorations, hit the shops to buy gifts and treats and then wrap it all up.  I also recorded some of my favourite things to drink and eat using the This Is December #2
and Drinks & More stamp sets and I have left myself a space to add a photo of my children I am going to take on Christmas Eve while they are waiting for Santa to arrive.

The last thing I did was to give myself a reminder that I need to put out some cookies and milk for Father Christmas and a carrot for Rudolph and I used the image stamps from my Perfect Pairs set for this.  I think they look super cute!

Are you all set for Christmas?  Do you want to get organised in 2018?  Why don't you pop over to the store now and check out all the fab products to help you finish off the year with a bang and banish the January blues at the start of the year?

See you again next month!
