Trendy Bakers Twine~Congrats Cards

Happy Friday morning! Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with two cards that I created for my two older boys who were finalists in their school spelling bee earlier this year.
The two cards were made in the same manner, just with different colors to reflect the favorite color of both of my boys.  Patterned papers are from Doodlebug Design School Days 6x6 paper pad.
I used a Pink and Main scallop waves die for the top two layers and stamped on the top layer with Pink and Main Congrats stamps.  The green card was accented with Twisted Lime Trendy Twine and enamel dots.
The blue card was created in the same way, but features Blue Berry Trendy Twine instead of the green.
Adhesives for both cards include ATG and a bit of foam tape under the black sentiment strip.  These cards were perfect for the occasion!

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine~Birthday Circuitry Card

Happy Wednesday and St. Patrick's Day morning! Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with a card that features a lot of green, but instead of a St. Patty's day theme, it is for a birthday.
I used an SVG file from SnapDragon Snippets, my Silhouette Cameo, and solid cardstock to make the main parts of the card.  I decided to add the USB drive cut out to the card with Twisted Lime Trendy Twine so it could move freely.  The last thing I did was add silver pearl pen dots to all the ends of the circuits so it resembled soldering.  That was it!  Card completed!

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine~Grow Layout

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here today to share a scrapbook layout I recently created. It features one of our twists of the month, Lemon Peppermint Trendy Twine.

I knew I wanted to scrapbook this photo as soon as I saw it!  My brother took my daughter's 2 year photos and I immediately fell in love with this one.  The papers I used are from DCWV's Watercolor Garden stack.  I cut out a black cardstock mat for the photo using my Silhouette Cameo.  I laced Lemon Peppermint Trendy Twine through the holes in the black photo mat.  I also wanted to tie in some green, so I glued Twisted Lime Trendy Twine around the photo itself.  In the bottom right corner, I used a Leaf Green Tag-It and stamped sentiments from the APB Documenting the Everyday stamp set onto it.  I finished off the tag with a Cherry Latte Trendy Page Dot and more Lemon Peppermint Trendy Twine.
After having the photo how I wanted it, I needed to decide on a title.  The paper stack had decorative word panels in it and I thought the word "grow" was very fitting!  As a final embellishment, I glued Pink Diamonds Sparkling Gems near the photo for a little sparkle.
Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Twine~Leprechaun Hat

Happy St. Patrick's Day!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today.  I created this cute leprechaun hat to give to my boys.
I made the hat from SVG Attic's JGW Top O the Mornin set.  I used papers from DCWV's DIY Stack: Paper Plants.
I wrapped Twisted Lime Trendy Twine around the hat band and tied a bow to finish it all off.  It matched the papers I used perfectly!  Cute treat box complete!

Treats Just for You!

Good Morning Trendy Twiners!!!!
Jessica here from Chick-n-Scrap
and I am so excited to be sharing another project with you all!

The DT have been sharing projects all month using one or more of the Trendy Twine original twists~

So for my projects today, I used 3 of the above colors, Strawberry Cupcake , Blue Berry  and Twisted Lime to make these sweet party favors!
Wouldn't your party guests just love to take these home with them???
And the great thing about these is they are so easy to make!
Here is how I did them.... I used the adorable Mini Treat Cups (you can purchase these either in individual colors or a multi pack of all 3 colors) and filled them with some Hersey Kisses. Remember that you can always use whatever treats you want... these are what I had on hand :) Then using some of the new Mini Wood Scoops, I stuck them into each of the cups.

For these 2 treat cups, I added a matching tag and then tied either the Blue Berry Trendy Twine or the Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine onto the Mini Wood Scoops.

For my Lime Polka Dot cup, I packaged this one a little differently. I placed the treat cup with the mini wood scoop into a treat bag and then tied a matching tag with the Twisted Lime Trendy Twine to hold everything together.
Either way you decide to package your treats, I know your guests would love it!!

Don't forget the Original Six Trendy Twine's are on sale this month for $6.95 for the sampler
or get each spool for $7.95 each. What a DEAL!!

Treat Bag

Hello, this is Sukie and I have a treat bag to share.  I used a medium sized glassine bag with a wooden spoon and fork from Annie's Paper Boutique for my project.  I was looking for a creative use for the wooden spoon and fork and saw a similar idea on Pinterest.
I tucked in some goodies inside the bag, folded it over and attached a fun tag.  I punched 2 different scalloped circles from the EK Success Scalloped Circle punches and stamped a sentiment from the Craftin Desert Diva's Say It Big stamp set.  The top circle was popped up on foam dots for added dimension.  Some polka dotted washi tape was wrapped around the spoon and fork for a pop of color.
The finishing touch to my treat bag was a double bow made from Twisted Lime Trendy Twine. This is one of my go to colors for my projects.  The twine is tied around the spoon and fork keeping them in place as a decorative element for my treat bag.
Make sure to stop by the store to check out the products I used and all of the other crafty supplies available for purchase.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Twine Flower Bucket

Hello, this is Sukie and I have a fun and festive project to share.  For my project I created a bucket of twine flowers for my patio table.  Since I have a covered patio, this container will be the perfect centerpiece.
My project features Blue Berry and Twisted Lime twines, however for a more summery look, I also added a pop of red and yellow with Berry and Lemon Tart.
To create the twine flowers, I simply looped single strands of twine in 2 different lengths and adhered them to the white scalloped circle.  I added another scalloped circle on top, creating a sandwich with the loops in between.  I twisted a bit of twine to create the center of the flower.  The twine flowers were glued to wooden rods which were wrapped with the Twisted Lime twine.
These are some of my favorite go to colors for projects, stop by and check them out in the store, you will find several colors on a current special for only $6.95 for a spool.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Best Wishes and String Art Tutorial!

Hey Everyone!

Jamie here to share a new project featuring Twisted Lime with you!
Plus I've got a mini string art tutorial.

I made this colorful Best Wishes card.

Here's a close up of the finished string art with Twisted Lime.

Onto the tutorial....

Hopefully my pictures make sense to everyone, if not you can always contact me through my blog HERE.

I used the rhinestone feature on the Silhouette software to make my holes. I made the shape I want and then I do an internal offset a little smaller then the shape. After that I used the rhinestone feature to change the internal shape to size 10ss holes and for this circle I changed the spacing to 3.

1.  I put a line of my atg glue on the back to hold down the end of the twine.

1.  I numbered the holes in the pics above so you can see where to start and where to go next.
But you can pick any hole to start and then pick another one somewhere across from it.
Depending on how far apart the holes are you choose will make the hole in the center bigger or smaller.

3.  Then you just keep moving one hole over(counter clockwise) all the way around the shape until you have 2 strands into each hole.

If you run out of twine while working the shape, you can just start a new strand on the back.

I hope you enjoyed my project, stop by my blog for complete details on my project HERE.

You can purchase some Twisted Lime on sale HERE.

Thanks for stopping!

Lucky You

I'm finally back with a new project today for Trendy Twine. I am jumping over here from the Happy Card Encouragement Factory with a little taste of Twisted Lime. It's a simple Print N' Cut card to let your best buddy know how lucky they are to have you as a friend. hehehe I mean, you do make them awesome homemade cards, right?

As you can see, it's a pretty straight forward paper charm bracelet pun. I didn't add a sentiment to the front as I thought the middle charm was enough. The only thing is, I need your help with an inside sentiment. I was thinking "you're such a charm" or something like that, but I am not sure that is very good. Got anything? Leave me some suggestions in the comments below!

Don't forget you still have a little time to enter the March challenge. It ends Friday, March 22nd. The prize is a $10 store coupon for the best twine on the planet! Which, by the way, you can grab this month's spotlight color for just $7.95 for a 160 yard spool. What are you waiting for?!?
