Jamie here and this is my last post for the Trendy Twine Design Team.... It's been awesome being on the team for the last 2 years and I will miss sharing my projects with everyone each month!  I've loved creating all kinds of fun projects with twine and I hope you continue to visit me over at my blog. I always love trying out new ways to use twine on my projects!

I used some Candy Cane on my project today.

I made a bow with some of the Chevron Ribbon from the store and then added some Candy Cane Twine to the center on top of a sparkly green button. Then I also tied on a tag with some more twine. 

Here's the full shadow box filled with jingle bells and I cut the saying out with vinyl.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hey Everyone! 

Jamie here to share a new project using Orange Truffle.

I added some rhinestone holes to the Jaded Blossom svg outline and cut it with my Cameo. Next I stamped and colored this adorable turkey! Then I took the Orange Truffle Twine and stitched it through the holes.

Thankful Thoughts

Hey Everyone!

Jamie here to share another project using Trick or Treat Twine!

I wanted to show you that it's not just for Halloween projects, so I made a Fall card.

I used the twine to make the center of my flower. I covered a 3/4" circle with a dot glue runner and then attached the twine to it. I made the flower with a die. Then I wrapped a little bit of the twine behind the flower too.

Spooky Sweets

Hey Everyone!

Jamie here with my take on the new challenge.

Spooky Tags and Twine

Must include- tag, Halloween image(flair, stamp, sticker, diecut or brad) and twine

We are featuring the new Trick or Treat Twine this month!

I made a yummy tag with a twine stitched bag on it.  I used the Trick or Treat twine to outline and then do a criss cross pattern on. I added a little green ribbon bow on it too. I stamped the candy corn, colored it, then cut them out and pop dotted them to the tag. Filled up the tube with some matching candy corn and tied the tag to it.

Frog Kisses

Hey Everyone!

Jamie here to share a card I made with the new Cherry Lemonade and a svg file from Fleurette Bloom.

I made a shape card using the frog and mushroom from the Moonbeams & Fairy Dust file.  I added the cute little face using 2 different Peachy Faces and then stamped a Jaded Blossom sentiment.

You all know how I love my string art! So I did some with the Cherry Lemonade for the top of the mushroom. Isn't this twine color so yummy?!

School Notebook and Pen Gift

Hey Everyone!

Jamie here to share my take on the September Challenge!

This month's challenge is Back to School- Primary Colors, ABC or 123 and Trendy Twine.
And then we're featuring the new Cherry Lemonade!

I made a little notebook and pen holder. I used 3 different files from SVG Cutting Files to make it.  I used some Jaded Blossom stamps on the chalkboard.

Then I took some yummy Cherry Lemonade twine to make the apple and also add a bow to the notebook. How cute is she?!

Jamie here to share a new Trendy Twine project with you!

This month we are featuring the fabulous new Celebration twine!

I made a simple little treat bag with some balloons hung with some yummy twine!  I used the Jaded Blossom Fancy Topper Die and Gusset Bag. The Balloons are from SVG Cutting Files. 

Here's a close up of the balloon strings. I used a Candy Charm and Candy Stamp for the sentiment.

For a Fabulous Woman

Hey Everyone!

Jamie here to share another project with the new Bumblebee Twine!

I made a "fabulous" card with the black, grey, white and yellow combo. I layered a few different patterned papers and stamped a Jaded Blossom image on the top along with a sentiment in the corner.

I had to add a little chevron bling and washi tape to the card as well.

And then off course the Bumblebee Twine flower. I used a 1" glue dot to make the center and then add the petals and rhinestone center.

Celebrate America

Hey Everyone!

Jamie here and I've got a new Trendy Twine project to share with you today!

Today I used Stars & Stripes and Berries Jubilee.... both are on sale this month HERE.

I found this popcorn at Target. I used a cute Patriotic Hat file and made the stripes with some Berries Jubilee.

Our Challenge this month is Get Krafty all you need to do is use the color Kraft and some Trendy Twine(or embroidery floss,hemp,jute if you don't own Trendy Twine)

This month we're featuring the teal twines- Tickled with Teal and Twisted Teal

So I made this cute tag!

I used the rhinestone feature in the Silhouette Studio to make a chevron pattern and then stitched it with Tickled with Teal.(I'm a bit obsessed with chevron these days) I also added some twine to the top of the tag.

Love Is In The Air

Hey Everyone!

Jamie here to share my take on the Challenge for this month.

This month we are featuring Lemon Tart.

This month's challenge is Spring into Spring, your project must include flowers, the color yellow and a stamped image or sentiment along with some Trendy Twine of course!(if you don't have any Trendy Twine yet you can use embroidery floss)

I made this cute Hot Air Balloon shape card. I took Lemon Tart and glued it to the base of the balloon and then used some Black Licorice for the strings. Then I pop dotted the balloon and basket on top of the base.

Best Wishes and String Art Tutorial!

Hey Everyone!

Jamie here to share a new project featuring Twisted Lime with you!

Plus I've got a mini string art tutorial.

I made this colorful Best Wishes card.

Here's a close up of the finished string art with Twisted Lime.

Onto the tutorial....

Hopefully my pictures make sense to everyone, if not you can always contact me through my blog HERE.

I used the rhinestone feature on the Silhouette software to make my holes. I made the shape I want and then I do an internal offset a little smaller then the shape. After that I used the rhinestone feature to change the internal shape to size 10ss holes and for this circle I changed the spacing to 3.

1.  I put a line of my atg glue on the back to hold down the end of the twine. 

1.  I numbered the holes in the pics above so you can see where to start and where to go next. 

 But you can pick any hole to start and then pick another one somewhere across from it.

Depending on how far apart the holes are you choose will make the hole in the center bigger or smaller. 

3.  Then you just keep moving one hole over(counter clockwise) all the way around the shape until you have 2 strands into each hole.

If you run out of twine while working the shape, you can just start a new strand on the back.

Lucky Treat

I made a cute Lucky Treat!

I used Twisted Lime and Limeade to make a string art shamrock. I know some of you wanted a tutorial for how I do my string art. So stay tuned, later this month I will have one posted for you.
