Trendy Twine~Back to School Shadowbox

Good morning my crafty friends!  Beth from Beth's Beauties, and today I am sharing a back to school project that I had posted earlier on my blog, but I wanted to share it with all of the Trendy Twine fans as well :)
I created the shadowbox from Fleurette Bloom's I'm Wishing set. For the pencils, apple and star I used the School Days collection from Fleurette Bloom.
I used Celebration Trendy Twine to create the illusion of writing coming from the pencils. The finishing touch was a bow of Aqua Midnight Trendy Twine in the top left corner.  I really liked how the colors in the twines accented the cardstock prints perfectly.
I used the shadowbox for a photo prop for my boys' first days of school!  They loved it.

To see more details on my project, please stop by my blog, Beth's Beauties.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Let's Celebrate....Mickey Invite w/Celebration Trendy Twine

Good Morning Trendy Twiners!!!!
Jessica here from Chick-n-Scrap
and I am so excited to be sharing another project with you all!

The DT have been celebrating all month with the awesome
a  mix of Red, Yellow, Black and White bakers twine that is PERFECT for all those Disney inspired projects.

So I have another Mickey Mouse project to share~ This one is a Mickey party invite what would be perfect for any Disney birthday!
Hope you like it!
I designed this file myself to include a pull out tag that will have all the party details on it. Of course it is in the shape of Mickey Mouse, complete with his adorable red pants and yellow buttons. For the buttons, I wanted to cover the holes so I added some Celebration Trendy Twine and then hot glued them to the red "pants" to guarantee that they stay in place.

And here is what the pull out tag looks like in full. All of the stamped sentiments are from My Creative Time and then for the top of the tag, I added an eyelet and some more Celebration Trendy Twine!

So what do you think???? Super cute party invite idea that would sure get your guests excited about this celebration :)

Now since we are Celebrating all month, the Celebration Trendy Twine is on SALE for $7.95/spool! What a GREAT deal!!!

Celebrating with Trendy Twine

I could not be more excited!

This is Melissa from M Miranda Creations and I am the Trendy Twine Guest Designer today. This month's theme is Birthdays using the Celebration twine. It is such a fun color combo with so many possibilities.

I am always looking for creative ways to let my kiddos know that they are loved. And these cute door hangers would be so fun to hang on their doors the morning of their birthdays.

As I was making them, I also thought hanging one of these on their door could be the first clue of many clues during a day as you get ready to announce to your kiddos that your family is making a trip to Disney. How exciting would that be!

For more details on my project, you can stop over at my blog, M Miranda Creations.

The Celebration twine can be found in the Trendy Twine store, here; and it is on sale this month!

There is also a Celebration mini set on sale this month too.

I hope you have enjoyed today's project!

And I hope you will share all of your Trendy Twine creations with the gals at Trendy Twine!

Disney Layout

This is Sukie and this month we are showcasing the Celebration twine. This cute bakers twine is a unique twist of red, yellow, black and white, such a fun and festive color combination.  My Disney themed project was inspired by this fun twine color.  For my project, I created a single page 12x12 layout using the Mickey and Friends cartridge.
The stars were cut using a die from my stash and the die cuts were popped up on foam dots for added dimension.  The die cuts and photo mats were accented with the Celebration twine.
Lots of fun little embellishments including some polka dotted washi tape, a button, scattered sequins and a couple of Mickey icons were added to my layout.
A couple of sentiments from the Scrappy Moms Picture Perfect stamp set were added to hand cut flags as a finishing touch.
Don't forget to check out the store for lots of crafty products.  You also have a few more days to apply for the Trendy Twine Little Sisters Design Team call, all of the details are here.

Happy Birthday to You!

Good Morning Trendy Twiners!!!!
Jessica here from Chick-n-Scrap and I am so excited to be sharing a project with you all!
Today is a very special day for me.
It is my son's 11th birthday and since we are CELEBRATING all month with Trendy Twine and showcasing the AWESOME
CELEBRATION Trendy Twine, I have a birthday card to share that I made for him.
It is always fun to CELEBRATE a birthday and when I was growing up birthday parties were always associated with a fun clown, doing their balloon art, putting on a comedy show and bringing tons of entertainment to a party.
So for my card I used designer paper from Queen & Co that is a PERFECT match to the Celebration Trendy Twine.  That adorable clown image is from Peachy Keen Stamps and I colored him using my copic markers. Then for a little extra, I added some Christmas/X-Mas Red Stickles to his nose, tie and shoes.
You have to have some balloons for a birthday card! And I have the perfect embellishment to add to them, some of the Celebration Trendy Twine.
I tied a piece of the Celebration Trendy Twine around each of the balloons and then let them hang down below the clown.

Now since we are Celebrating all month, the Celebration Trendy Twine is on SALE for $7.95/spool! What a GREAT deal!!!

Don't want a full spool? Check out June's Celebration Mini Set!

Happy Birthday Card

Hello, this is Sukie and this month we are showcasing the Celebration twine. This cute bakers twine is a unique twist of red, yellow, black and white, such a fun and festive color combination.  My project was inspired by the fun new challenge we have going on this month. For my project, I created a gift set for one of my coworkers birthdays.
The adorable candy tube is from Annie's Paper Boutique and is perfect for some yummy treats.  For my card, I used the twine to outline the center balloon on my card.  I also used it for the balloon strings and added a bow.  A bit of twine was also used on the small tag on the candy tube.  My card was finished off with some scattered sequins and a sentiment from the Craftin Desert Diva's Happy Celebrations stamp set.
Remember to check out the store for lots of crafty goodies including some new twine colors!  Also, Trendy Twine has a DT call going on, all of the details are here.

Thinking of You

Candace here from Scrappin' 2 Little Princesses!! Have you all been loving our projects this month using the awesome new Celebration twine?! It has been super fun to play with such a unique and different color combo!!

I wanted to put a fun, cute twist on a 'Thinking of You' card...

I wanted to fill you all in on a little secret of mine... I use a cheater method on my twine bows... I usually wrap my twine around my cardstock first, then make a bow out of separate twine and adhere it over my wrapped twine with Zip Dry glue.

Sneaky, huh?! :) I just can't get my bows to look perfect any other way, and I'm sure I'm not the only one!! ;)

Just a little reminder that you still have some time left to get your Disney projects linked up for this month's challenge!!! Check out all the challenge rules and link up HERE!!

Here is what I used on my project...
- Trendy Twine Celebration Twine

- My Creative Time Many Greetings Stamp Set
- Cutting files from Lettering Delights
- Thought Bubble Cutting file from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons
- Chevron embossing folder
- Peachy Keen Sweet & Innocent Face Stamps
- Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

Mickey Munch .....Celebration Spotlight

Good Morning Trendy Twiners!!
Jessica here from Chick-n-Scrap
and I have a fun project to share using the color of the month~
and I based it on the current challenge we have going on HERE

Just as a reminder, the current challenge , which you have until Friday August 30th~ a few more days is this....
 Recipe~
Disney Theme
Colors:  Red, yellow, black, and white
Trendy Twine
And for all the details on how and where to link up, check out the post HERE

Now for my project.....
I made this cute Mickey Mouse inspired popcorn treat box that would be perfect for a Mickey movie night or a gift for the Mickey Mouse fan (which was my inspiration~my 3 year old nephew who LOVES Mickey Mouse Clubhouse)
I started my project out using a popcorn cut file that I picked up from the Silhouette store. The file came with these adorable popcorn cuts and sentiment as well but knowing that I was going with a Disney theme, I erased them and in its place made the cute Mickey Mouse head. I cut all the pieces using Bazill cardstock in the Disney colors~white, yellow, red and black and then assembled my box.

For the front of the box, I added the ovals that were part of the file, my Mickey head  cut and then a border of Celebration Trendy Twine. I could have left it with just that (cause it looked really cute) but I wanted to add a triple bow, also using the Celebration Trendy Twine and a fun brad from my stash.  Even cuter!!!

Next I made this yummy Mickey Munch :) to add to my popcorn box and since it is a treat in a clear bag I had to add a fun tag to it. I designed the tag in the Silhouette Designer Studio using a Mickey Mouse font, a smaller Mickey head cut and a layered circle and scalloped cut for the tag shape. After printing and cutting out the tag, I added it to my treat using a more Celebration Trendy Twine.

Well I sure hope you have enjoyed my project!

Bursting With Happiness

Hi everyone!!
Brigit here from Brigit's Scraps
with a quick and easy treat bag using this months
Trendy Twine, Celebration.

I used one of the small white flat bags and decorated it with a print n cut Mickey, he looks like he's coming out from inside the bag, too cute!  I love the red polka dot washi tape, it's perfect for sealing the bags closed and adds a nice splash of color.  The stamp sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Got Candy stamp set, I just added a button and wrapped with the Celebration!

With Halloween right around the corner, make sure you check out all the great
new colors that were released this month and the old ones too!

Happy Birthday Card

Happy Monday, we are featuring the Celebration twine which was released earlier this month.  This is a four color twist of red, white, black and yellow.

It is perfect for celebration projects so I used it to create a birthday card.  I outlined the circles with the twine and added a sentiment from Docerela stamps to the center of the largest circle. The banner was created using hand cut flags and stringing the twine through the holes.
My card was finished by adding a Mickey Mouse cut from the Mickey and Friends cartridge.  Mickey is popped up on foam dots for added dimension.
Stop by the store to check out the new twine color featured for the month of August and the 5 new Halloween colors.  Also, come link up your projects with our monthly challenge.  Thanks for stopping by!  Sukie

Trendy Disney Autograph Book

Hello, Trendy Twine friends! It's Jessi from Kissin' Krafts! I am excited to share with you my latest project using the new Trendy Twine color - Celebration (the fun FOUR color twine)!

As we all now, a Disney trip is very $$$. So to make our upcoming trip alittle more affordable, I am doing some Disney DYI! Below is an Autograph book to get the characters' signatures!

I  used the fun Celebration twine as the book closure for the album. The twine is attached on the back cover and wrapped around the button on the front to close the book.

Now to the problem? Do I use one book for all the kids? Or one for each? Any thoughts?

Love the colors? Why not join the Trendy Twine Monthly Challenge? Check out HERE for the details!

Celebration Mickey Tube Holder

Hi Trendy Twiners!!
It's Brigit here from Brigit's Scraps with a cute little project using the color of the month

I'm having so much fun working with this twine, I love the Disney color combination, it's wonderful!

So for this months Challenge the Theme is...
Disney
Colors are Black, Red, Yellow and White
and
Trendy Twine

If you do not have Trendy Twine, use hemp, jute, or embroidery thread only
(no other brands of bakers twine)**

So here is my project...

I thought it would be fun to create a Mickey treat tube holder using the twine as his bow tie and on the tube with a sweet sentiment from Jaded Blossom's Got Candy stamp set.  The sentiment Mickey is holder is also from the same set.

For the box I resized the one from SVGCuts Camp S'mores kit, it worked out perfectly.

So many new color releases this month, check out these awesome Halloween colors...

Don't forget to check Trendy Twine's Facebook page and share your projects, we love seeing them!!
