Sending You a Big Squeeze

Hey Everyone!!! Candace here from Scrappin' 2 Little Princesses!! I have a really fun card to share today using the new Cherry Lemonade twine and a great cutting file from Fleurette Bloom!

I decided to play with the cute little lemon from the Fruit Friends collection.

I love using my twine to outline shapes on my projects! It really makes my circle pop!

Another way I like to add dimension and detail to my projects is by using foam stickers to adhere elements onto my base. On this card, I used the foam stickers under my little lemon and under my sentiment. It's a little tricky to tell from the pic, but this card has lot of dimension.

Thanks for checkin' out my project today!! Don't forget about the Back To School challenge we have going on!!

Thinking of You

Candace here from Scrappin' 2 Little Princesses!! Have you all been loving our projects this month using the awesome new Celebration twine?! It has been super fun to play with such a unique and different color combo!!

I wanted to put a fun, cute twist on a 'Thinking of You' card...

I wanted to fill you all in on a little secret of mine... I use a cheater method on my twine bows... I usually wrap my twine around my cardstock first, then make a bow out of separate twine and adhere it over my wrapped twine with Zip Dry glue.

Sneaky, huh?! :) I just can't get my bows to look perfect any other way, and I'm sure I'm not the only one!! ;)

Just a little reminder that you still have some time left to get your Disney projects linked up for this month's challenge!!! Check out all the challenge rules and link up HERE!!

Here is what I used on my project...
- Trendy Twine Celebration Twine

- My Creative Time Many Greetings Stamp Set
- Cutting files from Lettering Delights
- Thought Bubble Cutting file from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons
- Chevron embossing folder
- Peachy Keen Sweet & Innocent Face Stamps
- Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

Reach for the Stars

Hey crafty friends!!! Candace here, from Scrappin' 2 Little Princesses!! It's my very first post on the Trendy Twine blog!! I was a guest designer earlier this year and I'm so happy to say that I now a permanent member!!

How much is everyone LOVING the new Bumblebee twine?! SOOO fun, right?! Here is the cute little card I made with this twine...

Here is a little peek at how I added my twine...

I poked a hole in the bottom, where all the twine gathers. I adhered the end of the twine to the back of the card, fed it through the hole then adhered (a strip of ATG tape) the other end of the twine onto my cardstock. Then I added my star over top the ends of the twine, using foam stickers. Super simple! :)

If you're curious, the little face on my star is from Peachy Keen, my 'Reach for the stars' sentiment is from My Creative Time and my paper is from an old Fall Recollections stack.

Hope you were inspired!! Thanks for stopping by today!!
