Thank You to our Service Men and Women

Happy Sunday! It's Trendy Gal Melissa here from M Miranda Creations and I have another geat gift idea for you today as we spotlight the Stars and Stripes Trendy Twine and the Kraft Pillow Boxes this month. I hope you have been keeping up with all the 4th of July inspiration that the Trendy Gals have been sharing all month long. 4th of July is such a fin holiday to craft for!

For my project, I wanted to make something I could use to thank those who serve. Or it could even be given to a hostess for a 4th of July gathering. I am using the Medium Kraft Pillow Box for this.

 For this card, I wanted the twine to be the focal point, so I did not add my usual paper piecing on top of the patterned paper. I wanted my Stars and Stripes Twine to pop off the card instead. I think the patterned paper and twine will makes it a great guy card which are sometimes so hard to come up with. And then the Medium Kraft Pillow Box is perfect for stuffing in a treat or a gift card. And it looks awesome wrapped with more of the twine and the added stars. It will make a wonderful gift set for anyone this 4th of July as we celebrate freedom, but especially to say thank you to those who serve.

Thank you for stopping by today. We hope you will stop by the store and see all the great products Lesley has for your 4th of July crafty needs. And please stop by the FB group page, Twine It Up, and share all your wonderful creations with us. And if you want a few more details on my gift set, please stop by my blog.

Blessings,

Fishing You a Happy Father's Day

It's my turn to share again this month here on the Trendy Twine blog as we celebrate Dads!

This is Melissa from M Miranda Creations and today I am using the Krazy for Kraft and Blue Berry Trendy Twine along with the Clear Take Out Boxes to make this super fun treat for Dad.

 I wrapped the Blue Berry twine around the box about 3/4" along the bottom to make my body of water and used the Krazy for Kraft twine as my fishing line attaching one end to my fish's mouth, threading it behind my banner and I tied it to the handle of my box to keep my fish from getting away. I filled the inside of the Clear Take Out Box with some yummy Gummy Worms.

 I hope you have been enjoying this month's Dad's Day inspiration as much as we have!

Stop by and visit us on Facebook as well both on the fan page and in our group, Twine It Up.

Easter Chick Treat Sacks!

Hey, Trendy Peeps!!! It's Melissa from M Miranda Creations.

All month long we will be spotlighting the Watermelon Trendy Twine and Small Candy Sacks here on the Twine It Up w/ Trendy Twine blog!

The Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine is such a yummy flavor for Spring and Easter!

Here are some treat sacks that are sure to make anyone smile!

I filled my Candy Sacks up with Laffy Taffy flavored Jelly Beans. I made my tag using a retired file from Treasure Box Designs. I then made this sweet tag using a retired file from Treasure Box Designs and a tag shape from the Silhouette Store.

My Candy Sacks were tied shut with attaching tag using a piece of the Watermelon Taffy Trendy.

This is a super easy and cute way to give lots of little treats to friends and loved ones, and a great idea for classroom treats. This tag would take me about 5 minutes to reproduce - the hard part is deciding what candy to fill the bag up with. Jelly Beans have so many fun flavors these days!!!

For more details, head on over to my blog

And for more Trendy Twine fun, head on over to the Trendy Twine FB page

You're Sweeter than Chocolate!

Happy Sunday everyone! It's Melissa from M Miranda Creations sharing some Watermelon Taffy goodness with you today. This twine is a sweet twist of pink, green, and white and is perfect for all your Spring and Easter projects.

Do you have several Easter cards to make? Well this one is really simple and could be easily made in mass. I started with an A2 card base and added a background paper. I then cut my bunny which is only two pieces, inked the pieces and glued them together. I used a file from Treasure Box Designs for the bunny. I then added grass. This file is from My Scrap Chick, but any grass file you want to use will work. I added the twine bow around the bunny's neck. I then used a Spellbinders die to cut the label for the sentiment. I stamped the sentiment - You're Sweeter than Chocolate - on and added another bow of twine to finish it off. Like I said, super easy and the twine is the perfect touch!

For My Peeps!!!

Happy Saturday Trendy Twine Peeps!!!

It's Melissa here, from M Miranda Creations, sharing with you today.

It's the last day of February and Spring is almost here. Yay!!! I hope you have been following us all month long as we have been featuring Limeade Trendy Twine and the Kraft Gable Boxes.

Is it too early to start getting ready for Easter?! I don't think so!!!

I started with the Kraft Gable Box and added panels along all 4 sides around the bottom. The panels are cut at 3 3/4 x 2 1/4 for the front and back and 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 for the sides. I then took my Limeade Trendy Twine and wrapped it around the box 3 times and tied it off using a button. To get my button to stay put I added foam squares to the back of it. I then cut some Peeps from a file from Cuddly Cute Designs, inked the edges, and attached them to the front of the box with some more foam squares.

The tag is a file from the Silhouette store and I inked the edges, stamped on the "for my" sentiment, and then ran it through my Cuttlebug using the D'vine Swirls embossing folder. I used the same file from Cuddly Cute Designs to cut out the Peeps file. I inked the edges of this as well, glued it together, and then used foam squares to attach it to the tag. The tag was then attached to the Kraft Gable Box using two lengths of Limeade Trendy Twine and tied in a bow.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop in here at the blog! We appreciate having you here and hope you will leave a comment. We all enjoy reading them!

We also invite you to follow Trendy Twine on Facebook and at the Twine It Up! Facebook Group.

Lucky Leprechaun!

Who is hanging out at the end of the rainbow? St. Patty's Day is coming, so could it be a Leprechaun? I thought this guy was just too cute the second I saw him.

This is Melissa from M Miranda Creations and today I am sharing another project with you featuring this month's showcase - Limeade Trendy Twine.

I started with an A2 size card base. I added a background from Doodlebug Design's Happy Go Lucky papers. I wrapped the top with my Limeade Trendy Twine and used it to attach my tag. The sentiment is from My Craft Spot. I then used pop dots to attach my leprechaun from Cuddly Cute Designs. I'm so excited about how it turned out!!!

Crafting Inspiration Day 7

This week Trendy Twine has joined together with Fleurette Bloom to showcase some crafty fun from both design teams. Melissa and Millie are using files from Fleurette's store and, of course, some awesome Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine to share a few more projects with you as we wrap up a great week of incredible crafty inspiration for Valentine's Day.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi, everyone! This is Melissa from M Miranda Creations and I am excited to be sharing my project with all of you today.
 I adore the Fleurette's Love Birds card from the Valentine Be Mine 3D SVG kit; so I decided to use some elements from it and a box from the Nesting Gift Box kit to make this special box for my Love Bird on Valentine's Day.
I used an embossing folder to add some dimension and background to my
birdies that I think is really fun. But my favorite part of this box has to be the red and pink layers against the black box; especially the Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine that I wrapped around the sides and tied with a bow to attach my sentiment. The tag and sentiment are from My Craft Spot.
Keep scrolling down to see Migdalia's project and to learn how you could win some blog candy!
Blessings,
Hello, Trendy Twiners!
It's Millie, from Crafting with Creative M and I am super excited as well as honored to be taking part of an amazing week full of fabulous projects.
So for my 1st project, I am sharing the beautiful gift bag with a gorgeous Tiger Lily that is included in the Peacock Palace SVG project Kit from Fleurette Bloom
I immediately fell in love with the Tiger Lily.
Since I did not have pink cardstock, I had to cut out the lily with white cardstock
and used pink water paint.That was really fun!!!!!!
I added pink ribbon and Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine curlicues.
I wanted a touch of sparkle so I added pink rhinestones to the top portion of my gift bag.
For my 2nd project, I am sharing this super cute
Candy Treat Wrap SVG Kit from Fleurette Bloom
I had a lot of fun with this one and it is a perfect treat for kids.
I used the print & cut feature for the adorable Panda, which I then
layered it on the center of my top label. Super cute!!!!!
I used the Yummy Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine to decor my treat!..Yummy right?
Here is the inside of my super cute & fun treat!
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day.
Milllie
I'm Bananas for You!
Happy Saturday! It's Melissa here from M Miranda Creations and I want to share a bit more Valentine's Day inspiration with you today!
This month we are showcasing the Valentine Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine
A cute monkey and fun sentiment mixed with a sweet color of Trendy Twine = One fun Valentine for my baby girl or maybe my hubby. Have you guys figured out that I love to make things for my family. I enjoy the smile I get back every time! For my project, I started out with a sheet of paper from K & Company and cut out my gift bag. I added a heart doily and the super cute monkey. I had to give the monkey a Trendy Twine bow! I added my sentiment, "I'm Banana's for you!" and finished it off with a bit of ribbon and another pinch of Trendy Twine.
Well with a sentiment like that, I had to fill up my candy chute with some bananas, right!!! I finished off the chute by wrapping it with Valentine Cherry Cupcake Twine and adding a tag and sentiment to match, tying it off with a bow.
More details can be found on my blog.
