Trendy Bakers Twine~Firecracker Bag

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here.  This month we are sharing patriotic projects.  It is always fun to use the patriotic twines of Berries Jubilee Trendy Twine and Stars & Stripes Trendy Twine!  Today I am sharing a "firecracker" treat bag.
I started by adhering strips of scrap papers from the BoBunny Celebrating Freedom paper pad to the Kraft Tin Tie Bag.  I thought the stars and stripes paper looked like a firecracker, so I ran with that idea.  To create the wick of the firecracker, I took 3 long strands of  Berries Jubilee Trendy Twine, taped the center of the strands to the table, then proceeded to braid it using 2 strands together.  Bearly Art glue adhered it well to the bag.
I thought the front looked a little empty, so I added a sentiment strip.  The stars stamps are from the APB Merry Christmas stamp set and were stamped with Scrapbook.com Cardinal hybrid ink.  The USA stamp is from a retired Raisin Boat stamp set and was stamped in SB.com Postal Blue hybrid ink.  Once that was glued to the bag, I added sequins from both the Blue Berry sequin mix and Jolly Shaker Medley.  I love using products for something other than their intended purpose, so I was happy to use two Christmas items on this project!

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

These patriotic samplers are a wonderful way to get several colors of Trendy Twine and are on sale this month!  Each color is ten yards in length and is wound on a wooden clothespin for easy use and storage.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine Guest Designer: Merry Mail

Ho ho ho.
It's Angeline from ScrappyScrappy and I am back again with another holiday Christmas card for you.

Today, the feature is this beautiful mixed colored twine:

For my card I am using the Simon Says Stamp Stamptember 2018 Mama Elephant set "Merry Mail".  I first inked up the skies with a cloud stencil with Tim Holtz distress oxide inks. I stamped and colored all the fun little bits with my colored pencils.

Since Santa is already in his cute little plane writing the word "Merry" in the sky, I thought it would be fun to do decorate the word with twine.  I used Thermoweb's mixed media adhesive (which dries clear) and traced along the lines of the word, then slowly twisting the twine and pressing it down along the way.

Finally, I added some pretty Unity Stamp sequins and nuvo glitter drops.

Trendy Twine -- Happy 4th

Hello!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  Today I'm sharing a 4th of July card with you.  I'm loving the Berries Jubilee Trendy Twine.  I also used the Happy stamp from the Feeling Happy Planner Stamp set.

For my card, I cut out the oval with a manual die and the 4th of July with the star from my Cricut.  I glued my Berries Jubilee around the oval.  Next I stamped the Happy stamp from the Feeling Happy stamp set before pop dotting the 4th of July down.  I really like the way it turned out.

I added the bow of twine and thought I needed some sparkle.  So I grabbed a blue Nuvo Glitter Marker. Wow, that made it sparkle -- LOL!  I had not used them before so I didn't know how glittery it would get :)

Don't forget to visit my blog post today to find out how to win a Mini Berries Jubilee!

Trendy Twine ~ Patriotic Celebrate Card

Hello crafty friends!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here, and I am sharing a simple patriotic card today.
I started with embossing the white background layer with a stars with swirls embossing folder and die cutting it out with a stitched rectangle die. I made a banner using Berries Jubilee Trendy Twine and patriotic washi tapes.
I die cut the celebrate sentiment three times to match the layers of cardstock I used as the mat on the card front.  The finishing touch was APB Peppermint Icicle sequins that I adhered with Glue Dots stitch glue squares.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:
