Trendy Bakers Twine~Christmas Ornament Card

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with a new card. We are having a Christmas in July theme this month, and I was thrilled to break out my Christmas supplies and have some fun!

The background paper and fussy cut ornament were from The Paper Studio's Star of Bethlehem paper pad. The dark blue cardstock was embossed with a Kaisercraft Tiles embossing folder. After adhering the ornament with foam tape, I added Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine as a hanger and double bow for it. The sentiment was stamped using the APB Merry Christmas stamp set, VersaFine Clair Twilight ink, and heat embossed with Wow! Clear Sparkle embossing powder. I wrapped Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine around that strip of paper two time, then popped it up with foam tape. The finishing touch was a trio of Peppermint Icicle Sequins adhered with Bearly Art precision glue.

Trendy Bakers Twine~Firecracker Bag

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here.  This month we are sharing patriotic projects.  It is always fun to use the patriotic twines of Berries Jubilee Trendy Twine and Stars & Stripes Trendy Twine!  Today I am sharing a "firecracker" treat bag.

I started by adhering strips of scrap papers from the BoBunny Celebrating Freedom paper pad to the Kraft Tin Tie Bag.  I thought the stars and stripes paper looked like a firecracker, so I ran with that idea.  To create the wick of the firecracker, I took 3 long strands of  Berries Jubilee Trendy Twine, taped the center of the strands to the table, then proceeded to braid it using 2 strands together.  Bearly Art glue adhered it well to the bag.

I thought the front looked a little empty, so I added a sentiment strip.  The stars stamps are from the APB Merry Christmas stamp set and were stamped with Scrapbook.com Cardinal hybrid ink.  The USA stamp is from a retired Raisin Boat stamp set and was stamped in SB.com Postal Blue hybrid ink.  Once that was glued to the bag, I added sequins from both the Blue Berry sequin mix and Jolly Shaker Medley.  I love using products for something other than their intended purpose, so I was happy to use two Christmas items on this project!

These patriotic samplers are a wonderful way to get several colors of Trendy Twine and are on sale this month!  Each color is ten yards in length and is wound on a wooden clothespin for easy use and storage.

Trendy Bakers Twine~Non-traditonal Christmas Card

Good morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with this Christmas card that features non-traditional colors.  This is the first time I have ever paired these colors together for a Christmas card, but I am happy with how it turned out.  It features our twist of the month, Twisted Lime Trendy Twine.

The focal point of the card was created by stamping the image and sentiment from APB Merry Christmas stamp set with VersaMark and heat embossing it with white powder.  I die cut around it with a Pink Fresh fancy label frame and wrapped Twisted Lime Trendy Twine around it, popped it up with foam tape and added a bow of Twisted Lime Trendy Twine beside it.  The polkadot paper is BoBunny Candy Cane Lane and was die cut with a CC stitched rounded rectangle die.  For a subtle sparkle, I glued Twisted Lime Sequins to the front as well.

I even decorated the inside of the card, which I don't normally do, but I had a little left over patterned paper to use up.  That was die cut into a banner and I adhered a trio of Twisted Lime Sequins below it.  The sentiment was from the APB Merry Christmas stamp set and was stamped with Scrapbook.com Midnight Blue ink.

Trendy Bakers Twine - Peace and Joy

Hi Trendy Fans!

This is Shelly from My Paper Love and this  month we are spotlighting Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine and I wanted to showcase how this twine can be used for Holiday cards. I just love that Trendy Twine is so versatile!

For this card, I started by cutting a bunch of greenery to create the top of the card. 

I saw a similar design and loved how she hung some hanging stars from the greenery so I added some sparkly stars and a pretty sentiment from Merry Christmas Stamp Set. I hung each star by some beautiful  Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine.

Trendy Bakers Twine~Flag Note Card & Envelope

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with this kraft note card and envelope set.  I decorated it with a vintage patriotic theme, which could be used any time of the year, but is especially fun for summertime.  

I started with the Kraft Scallop Note Card and wrapped Stars & Stripes Trendy Twine and Totally Red Trendy Twine in line with the scallops.  The top two pieces of Trendy Twine were poked through the cardstock with a paper piercer.  I taped the ends of the twine to the back and covered the back with a scrap piece of cardstock cut to size so the ends wouldn't show when the card was opened.  I then stamped the large star from the Merry Christmas stamp set and the Blessed sentiment from the Hello Fall planner stamp set in Scrapbook.com Midnight Blue ink.  White gel pen doodles finished the look I was going for with the note card.

Next up was decorating the Kraft Small Envelope!  Once I stamped the stars from the Merry Christmas stamp set in Scrapbook.com Cardinal Red and Midnight Blue inks, I added white gel pen doodles as well.  I really like how the white brightened up the whole project.

In this photo, you can see that the note card easily fits in the envelope with no issues even though there is extra bulk on the note card.  Now it is ready to write a note in and give to someone special!

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ Woodland Christmas Treat Box

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties back with another project today. It is such a fun time of the year to give treats, so that is what I have to share with you.  

I started with a Clear Chocolate Box and filled it with Hershey's Kisses.  Next, I decorated a Cranberry Large Tag-It with papers from The Paper Studio's 6x6 Woodland Wonderland pad and a GMD Deer die cut.  The sentiment is from the APB Merry Christmas stamp set and I embellished with a Christmas Mint Trendy Page Dot and sequins from the Christmas Shaker Medley.

To attach the tag to the box, I wrapped Christmas Mint Trendy Twine around it and finished it off with bow through the hole of the tag.  Now it is ready to be given as a gift!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Patriotic Box

Hello everyone!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today.  I made a patriotic treat box using a 2x2 Kraft Box and Totally Navy Trendy Twine.

While the 2x2 Kraft Box was still flat (unassembled), I stamped 3 different sizes of stars from the APB Merry Christmas stamp set all over it.  I used Distress Oxides in Faded Jeans, Candied Apple, and Antique Linen for that.  Once those were dry, I wrapped Totally Navy Trendy Twine around the top flap, tied a bow, and attached a tiny tag on which I stamped a "thankful" sentiment from the APB Feeling Happy Planner Stamps in Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink.    Simple, yet cute.

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ Christmas Gift Card Holder

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with this great way to present a gift card for a Christmas gift.  It is embellished with Peppermint Stick Trendy Twine, our featured twine for December.

I placed the gift card in a Kraft Wide Chevron Treat Bag and folded down the top.  Next I cut a strip of red cardstock not quite long enough to wrap all the way around the bag.  Using Distress Oxide inks in Peeled Paint and Antique Linen, I stamped stars from the APB Merry Christmas stamp set and a sentiment from the APB Merry & Bright stamp set on the cardstock.  Once the ink was dry, I used a small hole punch to make two rows of holes through which I laced the Peppermint Stick Trendy Twine.

To finish off the bag, I glued sequins from the Christmas Shaker Medley onto it.
