Trendy Bakers Twine - Celebrate GRAD

Hey Trendy Fans!

This is Shelly from MyPaperLove sharing a graduation card using the Trendy Twine spotlight color of the month Stormy Trendy Twine. Stormy is a beautiful gray and white mix and will make all your graduation themed projects look fantastic!

I'm loving this color combo for a graduation theme. I found some gray card stock that pairs so well with this gorgeous twine. I die cut the letters and placed them on a school themed pattern paper.

I added a die cut script sentiment because what graduate doesn't want to celebrate this huge accomplishment. I think the script adds a great contrast to the block letters.

Last but not least, I made a fun tassel ad added it front and center!

Halloween Slimline Card with Glassine Gift Card Holder

Hello, crafty friends!

Today I have a super simple, slimline card/gift card holder combo to share with you.

3.5" x 8.5" 100lb Neenah Avalanche White card base
3 1/8" x 8 3/8" piece of pattern paper (I used EP - Bewitched)
center pattern paper on the card base using glue or tape
place the gift card and a few sequins in one biggie glassine bag, fold closed
add sookwang tape to the back of the glassine bag, be sure to place the tape so it's hidden behind the inserted gift card, secure to the card base with the sookwang tape
create a paper rosette, (video here) loop trendy twine from the Spooktacular Sampler and the Midnight Sampler behind paper rosette using hot glue to secure the twine to the back of the rosette
make one large loop using black and white chevron ribbon and adhere to the back of the rosette using hot glue
secure over glassine gift bag on the front of the card
embellish rosette with coordinating stickers or using Trendy Twine secure to glassine bag with glue or tape (I used black round foam adhesive)

October Product Spotlight - Black Licorice Trendy Bakers Twine & Candy Tins

Happy October, Trendy Fans!

We are getting into such a fantastic time of the year on the Trendy Twine blog. We have Halloween fun, then a bit of Fall bliss, and then the best of all -- some Christmas cheer. Our designers have some beautiful projects lined up for you so be sure to check back every few days. You will get all sorts of inspiration.

This month we are featuring our pretty Black Licorice Trendy Twine. It's a simple twist of black and white; and it pretty much goes with any and everything.

The Midnight Sampler is an awesome little bundle of Trendy Twine goodness. This set includes Stormy, Midnight, and Black Licorice. Each color is ten yards in length. And the twine is hand wound on to a wooden clothespin for easy use and storage. Plus it looks really great, doesn't it? ;)

And we are also spotlighting our wonderful Candy Tins. Use them for candy, treats, and all sorts of goodies. You can keep them simple or go all out with pretty paper and embellishments.
