Trendy Bakers Twine~North Pole Treat Bag

Hello all! Beth From Beth's Beauties here today with another Christmas in July post. This time I went with a rustic Christmas vibe for a treat bag. Holly Berry Trendy Twine is the perfect color combo for that look!
I started with a Kraft Chevron Treat Bag and stamped a sentiment from the APB Merry & Bright stamp set in SB.com Cardinal Red ink. I then added treats to the bag, but you can also fill these bags with cookies, candy, nail polish, a matchbox car, a toy blind bag, small cosmetics, gift card, etc. The possiblities for this kind of gift wrapping are endless! Once I folded the flap over, I wrapped Holly Berry Trendy Twine around it and tied it in a bow. I then added a North Pole Trading Company No. 2 Retro Tag that I had inked with brown around the edges to make it more vintage looking (The North Pole Trading Company Vintage Inspired Tag would have also been a great pick for this project!) I finished it off with a few O Christmas Tree sequins adhered with mini Glue Dots.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

You can find all kinds of Christmas themed Trendy Twine samplers on sale this month, including the Christmas Sampler, which includes the Holly Berry twist that I used on today's project.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Merry Christmas!

Hello Trendy Fans!

Merry Christmas from the MyPaperLove family to yours! It's Shelly here, and I'm beyond excited to spread some holiday cheer with you. Today, I want to share a delightful project that will add a touch of whimsy and charm to your Christmas gifts – the Holly Berry Trendy Twine Beanie Hat Shaped Tags!

As we celebrate the season of giving, I couldn't resist incorporating our spotlight color of the month, the festive Holly Berry Trendy Twine, into this crafty creation. Trust me; these tags are not just your ordinary gift tags – they are a perfect blend of creativity and holiday spirit.

To start, I used a circle die cut and an oval label to fashion the unique beanie hat shape. The circular base provides a playful foundation, while the oval label adds a touch of elegance to the overall design.

Now, let's talk about the pièce de résistance – the gorgeous pom poms! These fluffy additions atop each beanie hat tag not only add a delightful texture but also bring an extra dose of festive fun. The Holly Berry Trendy Twine pom poms are a nod to traditional holiday decorations, infusing your gifts with a touch of timeless Christmas magic.

But the creativity doesn't stop there! I took it a step further by stamping each tag with sentiments from the APB Let It Snow stamp set. The phrases are the perfect finishing touch, turning these tags into mini holiday greetings. From heartfelt messages to playful wishes, each sentiment adds a personal touch that will warm the hearts of your loved ones.

Imagine the joy on someone's face as they unwrap a gift adorned with a cute beanie hat tag, complete with a snowy sentiment. It's the kind of detail that transforms a simple present into a cherished memory.

These Holly Berry Trendy Twine Beanie Hat Shaped Tags aren't just adorable; they're practical too. Attach them to your Christmas gifts, and you'll instantly elevate the presentation. Whether you're gifting a cozy scarf, a stylish mug, or a box of homemade cookies, these tags are the perfect finishing touch.

So, dear Trendy Fans, get ready to spread some Christmas magic with these DIY beanie hat tags. They're easy to make, endlessly customizable, and guaranteed to make your gifts stand out under the tree.

Here's to a Merry Christmas filled with love, laughter, and a touch of Trendy Twine magic!

Happy crafting and happy holidays!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Quick Christmas Treats

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with some quick Christmas treats. I know you have seen me use several Retro Tags and Vintage Inspired Tags from Annie's Paper Boutique lately, and that is because they are the perfect solution for making handmade projects in a snap.
These treats were created with Medium Candy Bags...yes, the ones that fit 7 Hershey's Nuggets in PERFECTLY! Who doesn't need a little chocolate treat in their lives?! I wrapped every other Nugget with patterned paper from The Paper Studio's Old World Winter paper pad. It had a vintage feel, just like the pre-printed tags. 1"x3" is the perfect size of paper to wrap Nuggets with. I prefer to use Glue Dots to adhere the paper to the wrapper. Once the bag was filled with candy, I used 2 strands of Candy Cane Trendy Twine and one strand of Holly Berry Trendy Twine to wrap around the length of the bag. Once the tag was slipped over the twine, I tied a bow with it. To prepare the tags, I added a Candy Cane Trendy Page Dot in a corner, punched a hole in the center, then adhered a stamped sentiment from the APB Let It Snow stamp set. For the first treat, I used the Deer & Friends Retro Tag.
For this treat, I used the North Pole Trading Company Vintage Inspired Tag. I did not add a stamped sentiment due to the large amount of writing already on it.
The sweet It's Christmas Retro Tag was used on my third treat.
For the finat treat, I used the Jolly Snowman Retro Tag. Now I have a collection of Christmas goodies ready to gift!

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

This month the Candy Cane Trendy Bakers Twine Sampler is on sale!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Tag Tuesday~Christmas Treat Bag

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here, back with another Tag Tuesday project. I know Christmas is months away yet, but I am one that loves to plan ahead so I have time to make something personalized instead of waiting until the last minute, overwhelmed. The shining star of today's project is a darling Christmas Visitors Retro Tag.
This project was very simple! I grabbed a Mini Kraft Paper Bag, stamped on it with a stamp from the Merry & Bright stamp set and VersaFine Clair ink. In the future, I will use dye ink, not pigment on the kraft bags because the oils in the pigment ink created a slight shadow effect around the sentiment. After turning the top flap over, I simply adhered the top of the Christmas Visitors Retro Tag and two banners made from scrap pieces of patterned paper. I then tied a double bow of Holly Berry Trendy Twine to a Mini Wooden Clothespin to hold the bag shut. Now it is ready to fill with Christmas treats, a small gift, or a gift card! Simple, yet cute!

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

APB Release Day 4 ~ Merry Christmas Stamp Set

Happy new release week at Annie's Paper Boutique! Beth from Beth's Beauties here, and today I am showcasing the brand new APB Merry Christmas stamp set. It is such a beautiful and meaningful stamp set!
I kept the card fairly simple, using papers from The Paper Studio's Old World Winter Matstack.  I stamped the Merry Christmas stamps in brown ink on the panel to keep with the vintage look of the card.  That panel is popped up with foam tape for extra dimension.  The stars you see on the plaid background?  Those are also part of that stamp set!  I embossed them with a clear pearlized embossing powder so they are very subtle.
I used Holly Berry Trendy Twine and sequins from the Christmas Shaker Medley as accents as well as a star I stamped and fussy cut, once again from the wonderful Merry Christmas stamp set.
All of the new releases that you are seeing on the Trendy Twine blog this week will be available in the store at 6PM Central time on Friday, October 21st.  Keep checking back every day for new inspiration!

Trendy Twine- Holiday Project Life

Hi Everyone!
Kimberly from Kimberly's Crafty Spot.
Today I am sharing a filler card I made for my December Daily using
some Holiday Trendy Twines and sequins.

For my project, I made a 4x6 filler card for my December Daily.
I used 2 card elements from the Simple Stories Claus & Co. line
and made ornaments shaker pockets.
I punched 2 circles with my 1 1/2 in. punch through both cards. I then made two shakers with my Project Life fuse tool and I added a vellum circle and some Holly Berry Sequins. I glued this in between the two cards, then I embellished the ornaments with some Holly Berry and Totally White Trendy Twines and a little gold card stock. The sentiments are some sticker elements from the same collection.

Close up of the shaker ornaments.

The back side of the card, the pockets are see through but not completely
because of the vellum.
The sequins can still be seen and that adds a special element to the card.

Guest Designer, Candace!

Hi Everyone! Happy Friday! Candace from Paper Crafts by Candace here and I am excited for today because I am a guest designer for Trendy Twine! Yay! Best twine ever!!

For my project I made a Christmas card!

Now I know it might look a little plain but what makes this card special is that I've pop dotted the negative piece of the ornaments and put the super glittery paper underneath.

I then did some stitching and added my twine to look like it was holding up the ornaments. I used Trendy Twine's "Holiday Holly Berry". I then glued a twine bow on top of the other twine.

I also added a bell right under the bow! Here is a side view so you can see it pop dotted.

I also used Jaded Blossom's "Christmas Wishes" for the sentiment at the bottom.

I wanted to say thanks to Leslie and the entire Trendy Twine design team for having me as their guest designer today!

Candy Bar Slider

HI Everyone !!! Its Michelle from Scrappin with my bug !! I was so excited to be asked to be a guest designer today..... but before I could guest design Lesley asked me be to a full time designer! So I'm totally excited! I ♥ twine.....and I absolutely ♥ the color combos she comes up with!!!

I wanted to make you something for Christmas today! So I made a reindeer candy bar slider!!! I actually made a ton of these as gifts! For some I taped a gift card to the candy bar!!!

For the nose I just used Scotch glue which dries clear and used some Peppermint Stick Trendy Twine. I started at the outside and just swirled it until I got in the middle. Then I used some clear accents for on top of the twine around the edge of the nose and sprinkled course glitter on it!

For the antlers I wanted it to be festive so I used the new Holly Berry twine and weaved in through the antlers and added some cute lights !!!
SOOOO are you now ready for a giveaway??????

Trendy Twine Tuesday: Happy Holidays card

Bee here for Trendy Twine Tuesday! :-)
This is my project for today. I was scratching my head, trying to think of a new way (at least to me... ;-)) to showcase twine on my card...

...when I thought about twine "photo corners"... :-) Here I used Holly Berry for my corners.
I also couldn't resist adding a little bow to my wreath, and I decided to go with a more unexpected color: Sky

Everything is of course on pop dots, even though it doesn't show much on the picture... ;-)
The papers are from Recollection (Michael's own brand.), they're all glittery. The stamp is from My Thoughts Exactly, and was heat embossed.

I wish you all a very Happy Holiday Season. I hope you get to spend some time with your family and make new happy memories. <3
