Guest Designer Wednesday - Belinda

We are so excited to have Belinda from Bee's Hive O'Drama guesting for us today.  Not only is she guesting for us.... she did not one, but two projects.  Yep, two.  How awesome is that!  She decided to feature Sky Trendy Twine.  It's a yummy mix of light blue and natural/unbleached twine, which gives it a nice, soft look.  So, are we ready for some twine inspiration?

What an adorable idea.  Not only is it super cute, but it's practical too.  Who wouldn't want to receive this cute mason jar pincushion as a gift?  Great idea for Mother's Day.  Don't you just love the way Belinda tied the twine around the top and then added little bits of twine to embellish the top?

Her second project is this gorgeous birthday card.  Don't you just love all the shades of blue?  Look at all the pretty stitching.  And that kite tail... just the cutest thing.

For  more details, please visit Belinda's blog
Be sure to leave her some love and thank her for guesting for us.

You still have time to link up for the Monthly Challenge.

Have a happy Wednesday!

Trendy Twine Tuesday - You Make My Heart Flutter

Hi Everyone!

It's Jamie here and I'm super excited to share another Trendy Twine project with you!

I've been pretty obsessed with all the cute little bugs files out there lately so here is my card.

Awww, how cute right?!

I used a dot glue runner over the heart wings and then wrapped the twine around each one all the way into the middle. For the larger wing I used Cotton Candy and the smaller wing is Sky.

The Trendy Twine blog turns 1 today.
We've got a super sale going on to celebrate.

Thanks for stopping by!

Guest Designer Tamara

Today we have Tamara with
Happy Life Crafty Wife guesting for us.
Of course, she created something wonderful
using Sky Trendy Twine.

Are you ready to see what it is?

Such a nice mix colors.
And did you see the buttons and twine?
Buttons add such a pretty touch to projects.
Love how she unraveled the twine.

And you can't have a cowboy
without a sheriff's badge.
How cute is this sweet pennant.
What cowboy wouldn't want to wear it?
Look at the paper with the tiny stars.
How perfect!

Did you get some crafty inspiration from this?
Be sure to stop by Tamara's blog
for  more details.
Also, she is doing a giveaway
and it's super easy to play along,

Trendy Thursday ~ Easter Basket

Hi Everyone!!!

It's Jamie here to share another project with you!

I'm so excited with how this turned out! Today I'm featuring Posy and Sky Trendy Twine. I love these 2 colors, they are perfect for all your spring projects or baby shower projects too!

I used my Cameo to make the basket.  Then I made 2 different sized flowers with Posy and Sky. I added the button in the middle to hold the 2 flowers together.

And here is a close up of the flowers, aren't they cute!!!
You can find all the details on how I made these flowers and the rest of my project on my blog ~ http://jamiek711designs.blogspot.com/

Also don't forget about our challenge this month, you can go HERE for all the details on how to win 50 yds of Trendy Twine!

Trendy Twine Tuesday: Happy Holidays card

Bee here for Trendy Twine Tuesday! :-)
This is my project for today. I was scratching my head, trying to think of a new way (at least to me... ;-)) to showcase twine on my card...

...when I thought about twine "photo corners"... :-) Here I used Holly Berry for my corners.
I also couldn't resist adding a little bow to my wreath, and I decided to go with a more unexpected color: Sky

Everything is of course on pop dots, even though it doesn't show much on the picture... ;-)
The papers are from Recollection (Michael's own brand.), they're all glittery. The stamp is from My Thoughts Exactly, and was heat embossed.

I wish you all a very Happy Holiday Season. I hope you get to spend some time with your family and make new happy memories. <3
