Christmas Drum Gift Box set ~ Trendy Twine Guest Designer Fleurette

Fleurette here :)  I've had so much fun Guest Designing for Trendy Twine this month!!!  Since Christmas is coming soon and this is my last post this month, I wanted to go out with a Bang!   So, I created these Christmas Drum Gift Boxes.  The Krafty Red Trendy Twine gives it that extra special touch!  Fill each drum full of goodies or special gifts, it's also an adorable addition to any Christmas decor.

Supplies needed to create the Christmas Drum Gift Box Set:
  • Card Stock
  • Hot Glue
  • Paper Glue
  • Krafty Red Trendy Twine
  • Fleurette Bloom SVG Cut Files - Nesting Round Cake Boxes
  • Adhesive Rhinestones
  • 2 - 3/8" x 2 3/4" Tie Rack Pegs for "drum sticks"  Available in the wood dept. of most craft stores.   (see photo below)
  • Ribbon 3/8"W - to go around top edge of lid. (double stick tape works great for quick application, or you can use little dots of hot glue).
Tip: Use hot glue to adhere the twine to the box edges,  just a tiny dot here and there is all you need.

The paper pack I used for this is "Let It Snow"

(They are all on SALE right now too!!)

I also used these supplies from Annie's Paper Boutique:

My Planner:

I like to keep my planner pretty simple, it works for me.
My favorite thing about these stamps is that I can fit several items in the boxes.
I tend to write big so these are perfect! Plus, isn't that font awesome? :)
If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my planner post.

Thanksgiving Treats

Hi everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations to show you some Thanksgiving treats you can set at your table.  I used Orange Truffle Trendy Twine and Candy Cubes from Annie's Paper Boutique. The boxes are 2x2, so they are great for all kinds of candy.

I filled my box with some Hershey Kisses and then wrapped the Orange Truffle Trendy Twine around the cube and finished that off with a bow.  The cute Thanksgiving squirrel is from Cricut Create A Critter 2 cartridge.  He is about 2 1/2 inches tall.  I added a twine bow tie to him and some Black Diamond Stickles to his tail.  It's on the box with some pop dots.

I think these would be really cute to have at every place setting at the dinner table.  If you don't have the boxes on hand now, be sure to pick some up and you can make something like this with a Christmas theme :)

Have a great day!
Helen

Give thanks.....

Good Morning Trendy Twiners!!!!

and I am so excited to be sharing another project with you all!

Today is the last day to enter our current challenge so I wanted to share another card following the challenge and motivate you all who may be thinking about entering to get those crafty goodies out and play along!!!

This is the current Trendy Twine Challenge
Fall Foliage Recipe:
Autumn or Thanksgiving Theme
Fall Foliage (Fall leaves, flowers, branches)
Trendy Twine**

and here is what I came up with.....
I LOVE making CAS (otherwise known as Clean And Simple) cards so for this card I used a leaf die from My Creative Time to die cut the image out in the center of my card. I did stamp my sentiment onto my card first so I knew the position of where to die cut my leaf. Then flipping my card over onto the back, I used some red line tape to outline the leaf.
Now comes the fun part...I cut pieces of the Orange Truffle Trendy Twine  and laid them side by side to fill the entire image. Then when you flip the cardstock over you have your die cut image filled with the beautiful Trendy Twine!
Here is another view of the leaf die filled with the twine..... Not only does it give the card a pop of color but the texture it adds is AWESOME too!!!!

Fall Treat Bag

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today!  Fall weather and Thanksgiving are upon us and the project I made follows that theme.
I created a topper for a Flat Kraft Bag.  First I stamped leaves on the bag.  I used beautiful fall papers and used dies from Top Dog Dies for the green.  I wrapped the topper with Orange Truffle Trendy Twine and attached the Size #2 Manila Tag and Mini Wood Spoon.  The bag is filled with M&M's so the spoon is the perfect size to dip them out :)
I hope this inspires you to make some fall projects of your own! If you do, please link up to Trendy Twine's current Fall Foliage challenge HERE

Have a wonderfully crafty day!

Here is a list of the products I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Fall Foliage - Thank You!

Hey, it's Melissa from M Miranda Creations, and today I want to share a card with you that was super quick to put together, and would make a great card for many fall occasions depending on the sentiment you choose to stamp on it.

I cut out an A2 card base using some Kraft colored cardstock. I then opened my Sil software and made a rectangular shape measuring 4" x 5 1/4". Using the merge feature, I opened a leaf pattern from the Autumn Leaves Trio from My Scrap Chick. I altered the stem of the leaf to make it a bit shorter and then centered it where I wanted it on my rectangular shape. Next I used the subtract feature to subtract the leaf shape from the rectangle. I put another piece of the Kraft paper on my mat and cut out my shape. I inked the edges of the base and the layering piece and did a bit of inking on the edges of the leaf from the back. I chose a piece of patterned paper from the Simple Stories Harvest Lane 6x6 paper pad and cut a piece off that would fit behind the leaf. I then took my white gel pen and did some faux stitching around the edges and tied a piece of Orange Truffle Trendy Twine on finishing it with a bow. To finish, I adhered the top layer to the base and stamped on my sentiment.

I had inspiration for this card from one I saw on Pinterest here.
(I think it is always important to give credit where credit is due!!!)

Thank you for stopping by the blog today! We are always happy to have you visit.

Many Blessings,

Planner Friday - November

Hello, welcome back to another Planner Friday post!  I will be the first to admit I have gone a little overboard with my decoration for this week but it is a week full of birthdays including my own so I wanted it to be fun.  I have just realised that I showed you a cupcake theme last month too, you must think I am cake obsessed!  Don't tell anyone but... it's true!

How my week started out

For such a big week I have used a lot of Annie's Paper Boutique products, I have listed them all below.

Pictured: Trendy Page Dots

I like to use journal tags in my planner so I wanted to show you some of my favourite ones.  I use them to record special events, memories and quotes and for reminders and to do lists.  Because they don't have any holes punched in them you could use them for craft projects too or even as gift tags, they are very versatile!

It's nearly Christmas so I have my Christmas tree clip
in my Filofax now!

How my week looks today

Can you believe there is only one Planner Friday left for this year?  2014 has flown by so fast!  I will be back in December for some Christmas themed fun so I hope to see you then.

There are lots of Christmas goodies in the store, now is the perfect time to stock up before it is suddenly December and things get crazy!

Thanks for stopping by

A Trendy Happy Thanksgiving Card

Hi There Trendy Fans!

It's Shelly from My Paper Love, I hope everyone is well and getting excited to eat some turkey :) This month the DT has showcased the GORGEOUS  Thanksgiving Orange Truffle Trendy Twine. I am sharing a card using the same AWESOME twine color and I followed this months challenge. You have a few more days to participate for a GREAT prize. The challenge details HERE. I love Fall colors and I know white isn't usually a Fall color but I just LOVE to use it for Fall decor so I thought I would see how it would work on my card. What do ya think?
I started by stamping a chicken wire stamp on the plain white card stock using a grey ink. Then I distressed all the edges.

Next I opened a pack of Autumn paper and die cut leaves and placed them on a brown piece of card stock which I trimmed to fit in the center. I stamped Happy Thanksgiving and embossed it with white ink.

Lastly, I attached some beautiful Orange Truffle Trendy Twine and gave it a curly twist :) I also added some glitter pen all over but you can barely see it.
I sure hope you will join us for the challenge or share your projects with us on facebook.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!!

I used Orange Truffle Trendy Twine for my Fall project.

A Thankful Treat!!

Hello, Trendy Twiners!
It's Millie, from Crafting with Creative M, and its my day to post!
Today's project will feature the beautiful Orange Truffle Trendy Twine.

This year I will be spending Thanksgiving Day over at my sister's home.
She will be making our Thanksgiving dinner. Yummy!
So, I always bake and make a sweet treat for our friends which will be attending the dinner as well.
With the beautiful Autumn Stack by DCWV, I decorated these adorable Glassine Envelopes,
which you can find over at Annie's Paper Boutique.
I used the CAC2 cartridge for the pumpkin, and added some sparkle on the leaf portion by using glitter
glue. I wrapped the beautiful Orange Truffle twine around the square kraft cardstock as well as tying a piece of the twine on my handmade tag with a "Thankful for you" sentiment.

I am thinking of filling the Glassine Envelopes with a yummy caramel treat!

Here's a look at the beautiful Orange Truffle Trendy Twine.
