Apple Gable Box

Good Sunday Morning to you!

It's Tammy here to share a cute little Apple Gable box showcasing more Cranberry Trendy Twine. Before I get started with my project, did you get a chance to check out the Trendy Twine Halloween Facebook Blog Hop yesterday? If not, be sure to head over {here} for some fabulous inspiration and PRIZES!

Here is my project:
This Gable box was made from red cardstock from a file that was purchased from the Silhouette Online Store. I wrapped the box with the Cranberry Trendy Twine as well as outline the apple for a decorative touch. Lastly I added a multi-loop bow to the center to complete the project. All that was left was to fill the inside with goodies.

Hope you enjoyed my project as well as all the features by the Little Sisters this month!

Lunch Bag Treat!

Hiya, Crafty Peeps!!! This is Melissa here to share a treat package with you today.

Well it is official - the kids are all headed Back to School.

All three of mine started this week. Even my baby girl who had her first day of Kinder yesterday. Well of course I shed tears throughout my day, but she came home telling me how awesome it was. I'll miss hanging out with her all day, but I am excited for her.

For her first day, I added a little treat package to her lunch bag.

I used the Tiny Kraft Bags (3 1/4" x 5 1/4") and the featured Cranberry Trendy Twine.

For the front of my bag, I used elements from My Scrap Chick's School Paper Easel Card to decorate it. For dimension on my project, I used inks, pop dots, and layering. I wrapped it with twine and finished it off with a heart button as I knew I had to send my heart with her.

For the inside, I again used elements from the same MSC file. I stamped my message using stamps from My Craft Spot. I had to do some masking, but I like the results!

To finish off the inside, I used a bit of Midnight twine. I had really admired Sukie's technique of using twine to look like pencil markings from this TT post so I just had to try it too. Thank you, Sukie, for the inspiration!!!

After sticking my note inside the decorated Kraft bag, and a small piece of her favorite apple flavored Laffy Taffy; I folded over the top and tucked it in her lunch pal to be found for a mid-day reminder of how much I love her!

Hope you will give the Tiny Kraft Bags a try. They are so easy to decorate for many occasions.

Trendy Post it Note Holder

Hi There Trendy Fans,

This is Shelly from My paper love back to share another "School" project showcasing Lemon Tart Trendy Twine. It's such a pretty color! I decided to make a fun little post it note holder for a Teacher-friend of mine who has her very first 4th grade class.  She is so excited, and I can't wait to make her some fun things for her classroom :)

The post it note holder is a super easy tutorial which you can see the details on my blog.

Once the design is complete you can decorate it any way you want. The fun part...right?? I used some great Echo park school paper.

Next, I added a MCT label die and CDD stamps and finished the front off with some gorgeous Lemon Tart Trendy Twine. I'm sure my friend is going to use a ton of post it notes through the year so I may make her a few more of these :)

We have a GREAT hop coming!! Mark your calendars, it's a FB hop and you won't want to miss it!

Apple For You

Hello everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  Today I have a card for you--for a teacher, or just an any day card.  I'm using the fabulous Cranberry Trendy Twine.

I used an apple from the Cricut Preserves cartridge and some fun polka dotted paper from Echo Park 6x6 Dots paper pack.  I just LOVE polka dots :)

I added a small Cranberry Twine bow to the apple since the leaf and the apple were green. The enamel dots are homemade from some Perler beads.  This batch actually turned out pretty well. And the Cranberry Twine is front and center with a double bow.

Be sure to check out all the fun projects on the blog all month long and on the Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine Facebook page. Visit Annie's Paper Boutique for your twine and packaging needs.

Last, but not least, please join in our fun Happy Halloweenie Trendy Twine Facebook Hop this Saturday--we have some fun projects to show you!!

Back to School Photo Prop

Today I wanted to share with you the photo prop I created for my kids' back to school pictures.  I used the Chalkboard from SVG Attic's Back 2 School kit.  It is actually a card, and a very pretty one at that.  But I knew it would be perfect for the other use I had in mind!
I used a free printable and sized it to fit the inside of the chalkboard.  To embellish, I used some Cranberry Trendy Twine along the bottom and school themed buttons.
The best part is that I adhered the printable with repositionable adhesive, so I could use the same prop for my Pre-Schooler too!

Here is a close up of the Cranberry Trendy Twine I used.

Christmas Gift Bags

Hello there, this is Tammy and I have a couple Christmas Gift Bags to share with you.  I always need little gifts during the holidays, and I thought these would be cute. The bags and twine used come from Annie's Paper Boutique.  To create my project, I started with wrapping Cranberry Trendy Twine around each of my mini mason jar candle lids and tying a bow. I took a Small Candy Bag and added some kraft shreds to the bottom  before placing my candle inside.
I folded the top down of the bags and made a cute little treat topper. For a finishing touch, I added a bow to the center of the topper using our featured Cranberry Trendy Twine

I used a Flat Kraft Bag to hold some yummy candy.  I added the paper topper and wrapped it with Cranberry Trendy Twine.  Then I decorated a Size #2 Manila Tag, attached it to the bag and finished it off with a bow of Cranberry Trendy Twine.
At the bottom of the bag I stamped and colored a pencil and added another tiny bow of Cranberry Trendy Twine.

Write On!

Good Morning Trendy Twiners!!!!
Jessica here from Chick-n-Scrap
and I am so excited to be sharing another project with you all!

The DT have been sharing AMAZING Back to School projects all month long using twine in either Cranberry, Lemon Tart or In the Navy.

For my project, I made a fun Teacher's gift idea.  A french fry box filled with fries~ otherwise known as pencils :)
Isn't this adorable? I used a fry box file I had in my Silhouette studio and cut it out using designer paper from K*i Memories. Next using stamps and dies from My Creative Time, I die cut the chalk board and pencil as well as stamped the sentiment.

Next I added some In the Navy Trendy Twine coming from the pencil hoping to give the look like the pencil is writing. To finish off my project, I filled the fry box with some pencils stuck into some foam so they would stand up straight.
Such a cute and very easy project! I know it would look adorable sitting on a teacher's desk. Don't you think so?

Back to school in trendy style

Hi There Trendy Fans!

This is Shelly from My Paper Love sharing a fun Back to school project showcasing Lemon Tart Trendy Twine.  I decided to create a little B2S gift card holder. I thought it would be fun to give this to my son on the first day of school and then he could use the gift card after school at the frozen yogurt shop :)

I started by using a Small Glassine Bag from the Trendy Boutique perfect size for a gift card.

I used some fun school themed paper, machine stitched it and wrapped the Lemon Tart Trendy Twine around the bag and topped it off with a gold star :) Every student has to start school with a gold star right? Lastly I added a label and fun back to school stamp and some staples.

School Days

Hi everyone! It's Tammy, and I have a back to school card to share with you using the Cranberry Trendy Twine.
I attached some school themed patterned papers to an A2 red card base. I used a Library card and stamped some school themed sentiments hand writing 9/2014 in the date section.

I used the Recess Lite Cricut Cartridge to cut the apple and added the Cranberry Trendy Twine before adhering to the library card. For a finishing touch, I added a mini clip to the library card and of course a multi Cranberry Trendy Twine bow embellished with a button.

A Caddy of Apples!

It is another Trendy Little Sister post for you today!

This is Melissa and today I have a bit more Back to School inspiration for you
featuring the Cranberry Trendy Twine. This is such a fun and versatile color for so many projects!

My daughter starts Kinder this year
and I thought it would be nice to send her with a caddy of treats!

I think it is important to gain brownie points from the beginning. LOL!

Actually having been a teacher, I know that it is nice to receive something special on occasion;
so I like to send things when I can.

The caddy is double sided with 3 treat boxes on each side.

The Cranberry twine was the perfect touch for wrapping around the box
to give some contrast to the paper.

Each box is tied shut with a bit more twine and decorated with an apple. You could use a white gel pen to write on the apple letting the teacher know what is inside of each container.

They could be filled with bags of candy and school supplies
such as paper clips and small Post It notepads.

Thank you for dropping in today! We are glad you are here. If you would like more details on my project, I invite you to stop by my blog as well.

And please stop by the store for your Cranberry Trendy Twine as well as many more twine colors and other fun products!
