Christmas Ornament Card Set ~ Guest Designer Yuki

Yuki here with my final post as Guest Designer on the Trendy Twine Blog. It's been such an honor being a Guest Designer and I hope you've enjoyed my posts this weekend. :)

For my final post, I decided to make a set of Christmas cards you could easily mass produce. I used the same basic design for all of the cards and just changed up the color scheme. I just love how Trendy Twine offers such a wide variety of beautiful colors that coordinate perfectly with any project. I used the Simon Says Stamp "Ornaments" stamp set and coordinating dies for the ornaments and "Tickled with Teal," "Blue Berry," "Twisted Lime," and "Peppermint Stick" Trendy Twines to hang the ornaments from.

"Meowy Christmas" Jumbo Gift Tag ~ Guest Designer Yuki

Hi! It's Yuki again with a super fun jumbo gift tag to share with you. And as an extra bonus, this large tag can also double as a card too! I used "Krafty Red" Trendy Twine and various Lawn Fawn and Mama Elephant products to make this fun tag.

I absolutely love how my jumbo gift tag turned out. I ended up lining the backside of the tag with another piece of cardstock so that I can write a message on the backside.  Although it's quite a large tag, I think it would go perfect with a larger gift. I sometimes find small(er) gift tags get a little lost on those large gift boxes.

I hope you enjoyed today's post and be sure to swing by tomorrow for my final post on the Trendy Twine Blog! ♥

Hi everyone! This is Yuki from Handmade by Yuki and I am so excited to be Guest Designing for the month of December. Today, I have the honor of sharing the final post for the "Trendy Twine 12 Days of Christmas."

For Day 12, I created a super cute gift bag and matching gift tag using "Tickled with Teal" Trendy Twine and different Lawn Fawn products. This twine is super cute and I absolutely love how the different shades of teal match my project perfectly!

Trendy Twine 12 Days of Christmas Day 11

Hello, this is Sukie welcome to Day 11 of the Trendy Twine 12 days of Christmas!  This has been such a fun Trendy Twine segment and I'm a bit sad to see it come to an end tomorrow.  All of the gift ideas have been just amazing!  For my project I created a homemade treat jar with a combination of goodies to make some yummy cookies.  These make such great gifts for friends during the holidays.
I simply wrapped my jar with some fun holiday paper and adhered some washi tape along the edge of the lid.  The lid was further embellished with a snowflake doily which was layered with a punched snowflake.  I stamped the snowflake with a Peachy Keen face stamp.  A second doily and snowflake was tied with Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine and hung around my treat jar.
A wooden scoop from Annie's Paper Boutique was tied to the lid of the jar with more twine and finished off with a festive bow.  I tucked in a fun sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Filled with Love stamp set.
Check out the store for all of the gorgeous Christmas twine colors.  They are all on sale and there are so many color combinations, a little something for everyone!

Trendy Twine 12 Days Of Christmas Day 10

Good Morning everyone, Shelly from My Paper Love here and welcome to
Day 10 of our Trendy Twine 12 Days of Christmas. I just have to say what a FABULOUS 9 days so far, I'm a little sad there are only 2 days left after mine :(

So for my gift giving inspiration I created a snowman candle holder. Can I just tell you that this was so much fun to make! Here's my snowman all lit up.
I purchased some dollar store round candle holders and painted them with mod podge. Next I placed both jars in a large bowl and began putting handfuls of epsom salt all over the jars. I let them dry and added buttons and a Trendy Twine scarf using Frosted Cranberry. But this is a gift so I had to package it just perfectly :)
The best way to give a gift is with some candy right? I filled the top with some fun candies!

I used TT's Cone Bags and more Frosted Cranberry. to package up some yummy chocolates.

This is such a fun and inexpensive gift to give and you could add another holder on top or even a fun little face too!

Stop by the store and grab these items and you can make some too :)

Trendy Twine 12 Days of Christmas Day 9

Hello everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations and I am here to welcome you to Day 9 of the Trendy Twine 12 Days of Christmas!

Today I made a sock cupcake to show you with a Trendy Twine pom pom for the topping :)  I had decided a month ago that I would make sock cupcakes for everyone at work.  And then I thought this would be perfect for our 12 Days gifts post.  So I used one of the red pairs of socks that I picked up since I am using the fabulous Cane Cane Trendy Twine this month!

I used the Cricut Cupcake Wrappers Cartridge and cut this wrapper at 4.25 inches tall. The I rolled up my sock 'cupcake and put this in the wrapper. ~The socks are at Michael's (although, there were not as many there yesterday) and were just $2!~ I made the fun pom pom with my Candy Cane Trendy Twine and stuffed in in the middle a bit. Lastly, I put the whole thing in a cellophane bag and tied it off with some more Candy Cane Trendy Twine.

I was going to add a tree tag I made, but it really blocked the cute pom pom so I left it off.  This will likely go in a gift bag anyway and maybe I'll add the tag I made to that :)

There are still 3 more days in the Trendy Twine 12 days of Christmas left, so keep coming back! And be sure to head over to Annie's Paper Boutique to get your holiday twine and gift packing supplies :)

Have a fabulous day!
Helen

Trendy Twine's 12 Day of Christmas Day 8

On the 8th Day of Christmas, Trendy Twine shared with me...

Hey All!!! - It is Melissa here sharing with you Day 8 of Gift Packaging ideas.
I hope you have been enjoying all the ideas for the Christmas Season as much as we have been enjoying sharing them with you.
It drives my husband batty, but I have this need to really dress up my holiday packages and stocking stuffers. That means big bows, lots of ribbon and twine, and of course cute tags. Yes, I admit, that I may go a bit overboard in my hubby's opinion; but until he helps with the wrapping, I guess I get to do it any way I want to, right!!!!

Today I have a stocking stuffer to share with you that has a tag attached and then I will also show you the same tag made with different colors. I used Holly Berry and Twisted Gumball Trendy Twine. I have also used the 8" Skinny Candy Chutes.

The tag is from the Silhouette Store and is 4" in height and was made using a MME's Merry Christmas paper pad. The cut file that I attached to it with pop dots is from Little Scraps of Heaven and the stamped sentiment is from My Craft Spot. I added ribbon with a bit of Holly Berry Trendy Twine and a jingle bell as well.

Here is a close up of the tag.

To attach the tag, I wrapped some more Holly Berry Trendy Twine around the candy chute and then attached it to the ribbon on the back of the tag.

This next tag is for my princess, so it had to be made up in pinks. And since Twisted Gumball is one of my favorite twine colors, I accented my pink tag with blue.

If you have not been following our 12 Days of Christmas, I invite you to go back and look over the last 7 days of ideas. And remember there are four more days to go.

Thank you for dropping by today! You can head over to the Twine It Up FB Group to share all your Trendy Twine ideas with us as well.

Blessings,

Trendy Twine 12 Days of Christmas Day 7

Hello, friends! It is Jessi from Kissin' Krafts and I am excited to be back on the wonderful Trendy Twine design team! My project today is part of the Trendy Twine 12 Days of Christmas (Day 7).

These candy boxes make for a simple, yet perfect gift! They can be used for a variety of occasions, and of course, holiday gift giving! All you have to do is fill with a yummy candy and attach a fun tag and you are finished.

For this project, I stamped an festive image on white cardstock. Once the coloring was finished, the image is cut out and attached to the front of the tag.  To finish the project, a fun sentiment is stamped on the backside of the tag. The tag is attached to the candy box with a double shoelace tie of Cherry Limeade twine.

Trendy Twine products used on this project:
