Trendy Bakers Twine - Santa Treat

Hello and Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends!
Theresa here from Theresa's Crafty Creations
and I'm back as Guest Designer for Trendy Twine!

This is my last Month as Guest Host and I really hope
I've shared some fun ways to use Trendy Twine on your projects!

This month they are featuring Christmas Mint Trendy Twine

Such a YUMMY Color Combo!!!

School gets out in a couple of days for us, and I
needed another last-minute treat for another  co-worker
so I created this -

I love how the candy treat matches the Santa Topper!

This came together pretty quickly - I used a Ric Rac Topper Die I have and
a Santa Story Book Die I have, a Stitched Circle die, and a Stitched banner
die - I put the pieces together the way I liked and then I grabbed
a fun sentiment stamp from the Merry & Bright Stamp Set and
heat embossed that in black -
I stapled the topper to my treat and then tied some Christmas Mint Twine
around one corner then made a tiny bow with it -

Super CUTE and I can't wait to give this to my friend!

Trendy Bakers Twine - Chevron Treat bag

Hello and Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends!
Theresa here from Theresa's Crafty Creations
and I'm back as Guest Designer for Trendy Twine!

This is my last Month as Guest Host and I really hope
I've shared some fun ways to use Trendy Twine on your projects!

This month they are featuring Christmas Mint Trendy Twine

Such a YUMMY Color Combo!!!

Since Christmas is just around the corner, I thought
I would make a yummy treat for a Co-Worker!

It's a Shaker!!! EEK! I love making shakers!!! :)

I started out by grabbing a Red Chevron Treat bag and filling it with some
yummy chocolates, then I grabbed my Mitten Shaker die set and
cut out the mittens in white cardstock then I
stamped some snowflakes on them in red and green ink -

I made one layer the shaker element using some assorted
holiday sequins from my stash and then I added the
Sentiment using the Merry & Bright Stamp set -

I wanted the sentiment to POP, so I used black heat embossing
Then I wrapped some Christmas Mint Twine around the trim
of both mittens - then attached it to my Chevron treat bag -

I decided to dress it up a little more by adding a bow on the shaker mitten
and at the top of the other mitten -

Super CUTE and I can't wait to give this to my friend!

Trendy Bakers Twine - Elegant Ornament

Hello and Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends!
Theresa here from Theresa's Crafty Creations
and I'm back as Guest Designer for Trendy Twine!

This is my last Month as Guest Host and I really hope
I've shared some fun ways to use Trendy Twine
on your projects! So let's get started!!! :)

This month they are featuring Christmas Mint Trendy Twine

Such a YUMMY Color Combo!!!
I Love this for the holidays!

Since Christmas is just around the corner, I thought
I would make an ornament!

This ornament turned out so pretty and shimmers on my tree!

I bought a clear ornament bulb from the $ store and thought
I could dress it up with my twine - So I started out by
painting on some Mod podge to my clear ornament
and then just adding the Christmas Mint Twine on top
of that. I continued the process until I got all the way to the bottom
Once that was done, I let it sit to dry completely (it didn't take long)
and then I spritzed my ornament with some sparkle sheer shimmer spray -

After that dried for a few minutes, I tied a strip of the Mint Twine
around the very top part of the bulb and added 2 small gold bells to the ends -
Then I found some glittery flowers in my stash
and attached them to the top with some hot glue -

I really do like how my ornament turned out - it looks very elegant

Trendy Bakers Twine -- Be Merry!

Hello everyone! I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  This month, the Trendy Gals are spotlighting Peppermint Stick Trendy Twine.  I also used the Small Pillow Boxes, the Merry & Bright Stamp Set, and Peppermint Stick Sequins

I filled my Small Pillow Boxes with my Christmas M&M's.  Then I wrapped my Peppermint Stick Trendy Twine around the box like a package and made a knot.  Then I used a tag die to cut out the tag, stamp Be Merry from the Merry & Bright Stamp Set onto it, and I added a sequin to each tag from the Peppermint Stick Sequins.  I just finished it off by tying the tag onto the box and finishing it off with a bow.

These are so easy to make. I just love the clear boxes with pretty candies in them to give to people.  You don't have to dress them up to much to give them out.  Be sure to head to the shop and pick some up in different sizes for the holidays!

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ Christmas Gable Box

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with this great gable box that would be perfect for giving a small gift or baked goods for Christmas.  It is embellished with  Peppermint Stick Trendy Twine, our featured twine for December.
I started with a Small Gable Box and covered the sides with paper and stickers from DCWV's Red & White Christmas stack.  I glued Peppermint Stick Trendy Twine around the front panel and Frosted Cranberry Sequins in the bottom right corner.
To dress up the top of the box, I made a bow using more patterned paper and a Stampin Up! bow punch and adhered it just under the handle of the box.  I then added the tag that was made with Large Metal Rim TagCandy Cane Trendy Page Dot, a sentiment from APB Merry Christmas stamp setFrosted Cranberry Sequins, and tied with Peppermint Stick Trendy Twine.  The snowflakes are more stickers from the previously mentioned paper stack.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

APB stamps- Love Santa!

Hi Everyone!!
I hope you are doing great and in the full swing of the Holiday season!
Kimberly from Kimberly's Crafty Spot.

Today I am sharing a project featuring Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine
and Annie's Paper Boutique Hello Santa stamp set.

This month the design team is featuring the cotton 4x6 Muslin bags.

I took the string that comes with the bag for the top, out and added the Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine to it instead for the closure. Then I made coordinating tags in baby blue and red card stock.
The bottom tag is embossed with a snowflake swirls embossing folder and some glitter stickles is added for accent. The top tag is stamped with a sentiment from the Hello Santa stamp set in white and heat embossed. Then I added some punched glitter snowflakes and hearts to the tag.

The bottom of the bag is stamped in blue with snowflakes and some red hearts. This material was really easy to stamp on and the images remained true.

Trendy Twine - Tis The Season

Good Morning!

It's Tammy from Creating Somewhere Under The Sun! I'm sharing some cute tags I created trimmed out using Candy Cane Trendy Twine.
A quick and easy gift is to fill some festive goblets with some yummy chocolates (I used Hershey Kisses here) and put in a cute cello bag and dressed up with a darling tag which I added to a red satin bow.

I layered a tag and used Candy Cane Trendy Twine to trim the edge of the tag.  I used the Create A Critter Cartridge at 2 1/2 to cut the Penguin. The sentiment is also from the same cartridge. It makes a cute little gift for a neighbor or hostess.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Trendy Twine~ Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

Good Morning Everyone!
Jessica from Chick-n-Scrap here!
A new month of spotlighted products from Trendy Twine has the DT showcasing the gorgeous Christmas Twine Colors.
Today I am sharing a Christmas treat inspired project using my featured twine color of the month~
Candy Cane Trendy Twine and a Candy Tin
These make the best quick and easy gifts..fill with some goodies and embellish and they are ready to give :) For my project I used some Hershey Chocolate Nuggets and wrapped them using the holiday paper from Recollections. I was able to get 10 pieces inside the tin nicely and they are all cushioned in some paper shredding.
For my outside embellishing, I use the matching paper from Recollections to make a belly band. This not only holds the tin in place but allows a place for my sentiment. I wrapped some Candy Cane Trendy Twine around the belly band 2 times and tied it off to the side with a bow. For some extra holiday cheer, I did add some fun silver jingle bells.
My sentiment and die cuts come from My Creative Time~ Belly Band sets.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Twine- Holiday Gift tin

Hi Everyone!
Kimberly from Kimberly's Crafty Spot.

Today I am sharing a Holiday project using the Candy Tin.
I made a Holiday gift tin with some 3x3 cards and chocolate.

I made the 3x3 cards to look like gifts with some Holly Berry Trendy Twine as gift packaging.
Then I added some sentiments using red ink on the white cards
and white heat embossing on the kraft cards.
Then I wrapped six Hershey miniatures with some Holiday patterned paper as an added treat.
This is perfect gift for someone who doesn't craft but could always use some holiday cards and a treat. This container easily holds 4 cards and 6 chocolates.
I added a ribbon belly band to the container and a kraft tag with some faux stitching.
I embellished it with a double bow from some white ruffled ribbon and heart button
with a Holly Berry Trendy Twine bow.
