Planner Friday - September

Hello!  There are only a few days of September left and I am so excited for October and Halloween!  I love having spooky fun with my family throughout the month, we watch scary movies, carve pumpkins, put creepy decorations up and sort out costumes for trick or treating.  I thought I'd create a Halloween theme for my planner pages too with some of my APB stamps!

Products used:

My October at a glance

The first thing I did for this monthly spread was to colour in any special days, these are my husband's days off work, Halloween (of course!) and the half term school holiday.  Then I used the At Home and School Days stamp sets to add in bills due, reminders and my children's after school clubs.  Because this is just an overview for October I don't have to put too much detail into it, I mainly use these pages to see how my month looks as a whole and how busy I am going to be.  Thankfully it doesn't look too crazy at the moment!

Frankenstein and vampire bat treats

I used the candy bar and sweetie stamps from the Foodies set for decoration but I added some spooky touches in with a black fineliner pen and made Frankenstine and vampire bat treats.  I also used the pumpkin stamp from the Hello Fall set and changed the smiley faces into classic Halloween style pumpkins.  I love how they turned out!

Will you be doing anything fun for Halloween?  Don't forget to stop by the store and check out all the supplies you might need!

See you again next month!

Trendy Twine - Autumn Leaves

Hi Trendy Fans!

Does it feel like Fall? I know some areas are seeing the leaves change and feeling the cool air. We are having a little heat wave this week. 80's and sunny. I'm not complaining :) This is Shelly from My Paper Love showcasing more of the gorgeous Chocolate Truffle Twine, this time with an Autumn card.

I used some wood grain card stock and stamped it with the leaf from the Hello Fall Stamp Set.  Oh my gosh, I just loved how this turned out. Once the leaves were all stamped I lightly filled them with gold, green, and orange ink then I wrapped the card stock in Chocolate Truffle Twine.

Lastly, I found a pretty sentiment in one of my Fall card stock kits and attached it to the card.

Stop by the store and grab some of these fun products!

Trendy Twine - Guest Designer

Happy Wednesday Trendy Twiners!
It's Migdalia from Crafting with Creative M bringing you my last project as this month's guest designer here at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine!

I would like to take this time to say "THANK YOU" to Lesley & the DT ladies for having me as this month's guest designer! It was truly an HONOR and I had so much FUN!

So for my project I made Shaker Cards!

For my shaker cards, I used the DCWV's "Good Eats" stack and a variety of dies.

For the shaker, I used stitched circle dies, Raspberry Cupcake Sequins, other sequins and micro beads. I fuzzy cut one of the donut images from the same stack and adhered it to the center with a glue dot.

I stamped the "Yum" sentiment from the Foodies Planner Stamp on a die cut tag and adhered a pretty bow that I made with the Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine.

I used the following ABP products on my project:

Trendy Twine ~ Every Family Has A Story

Happy Tuesday!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here, and I am sharing this bright scrapbook layout with you today.
The main color of Trendy Twine that I used on this layout is Lime Licorice.  It is a Halloween twist, but as you can see, it can be used for so many non-holiday projects!
The patterned paper I used is from DCWV's Confetti stack.  I cut the words using glossy black vinyl and my Silhouette Cameo.  Embellishments include a doily, die cut tag, GMD Paradise enamel dots, and Prima flowers.  For the tassel on the tag, I used the Lime Licorice Trendy Twine and tied a bow around it with Totally Pink Trendy Twine.
At the bottom of the layout, I glued more of the Lime Licorice Trendy Twine in a swirl to the page and added another flower.
Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Twine - Memories

Hello! This is Sukie and I have a single page 12x12 layout page to share today.  I started my layout page with the DCWV Travel Adventure Stack and the DCWV Maps, Text, Ledgers Stack.  Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine provided the perfect contrasting accent on my layout page.  I used the twine to accent the banner, photo mat, the tag and embellishments.
The title of my page, the stickers and travel accents are all Momenta embellishments.  The photo mat was cut from the Momenta Watercolor Splash Paper Pad.  I tucked in a Kraft Tag-Its behind the photo mat.  The tag was stamped with the APB Check It Off stamp set and will be perfect for journaling.
I few die cut hearts, a stenciled airplane and a few enamel dots were the finishing touch on my layout page.
The products used on my layout page are available over at Annie's Paper Boutique. Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a fabulous day!

Trendy Twine: Guest Designer

Happy Friday Trendy Twiners!
It's Migdalia from Crafting with Creative M bringing you my 3rd project as this month's guest designer here at Trendy Twine!
WOOHOO!! YIIPPEE!!

For my project I made treat bags featuring the Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine.

I decorated the Biggie Glassine Envelopes with the DCWV's "Good Eats" stack and the Dream paper pad from MME. I wrapped some Chocolate Truffle twine around the DP and added a pretty bow. I used foam tape to adhered the DP to the Biggie Glassine Envelopes.

The pretty flower and scallop square shape are from the Flower card file from Lori Whitlock. Once the flower was assembled and adhered to the scallop square shape, I then adhered it all on top of the base with foam tape for dimension. I stamped the "Smile" sentiment from the Smile Stamp Set on a die cut tag, added a pretty Chocolate Truffle bow and adhered it to the stem with foam dots.

Next, I filled the each Biggie Glassine Envelopes with chocolate treats! Yummy!

Trendy Twine ~ Mini Fall Treat Box

Happy Thursday!  Beth from Beth's Beauties sharing this sweet fall treat box with you today.
Fall is definitely in the air so this sweet little 2x2" Kraft Box is decorated accordingly!  I added paper from DCWV's Sweater Weather stack on the outside then I jazzed it up.  First thing was to use a Sky Tag-Its and use stamps from the Hello Fall Planner Stamp set on it.  I stamped them with a dark brown ink.  The images were cut around and I also added a shadow layer behind them.  A few Autumn Sequins and the tag was complete!
The front of the box has a small die cut doily, a leaf from the Hello Fall Planner Stamp, and Autumn Sequins.  Last, but certainly not least, I wrapped the whole box with Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine and tied it in a bow on the top.
Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Twine -- Birthdays Are Better with Chocolate

Hello everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  Today, I made a card using Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine.

Since it's all about chocolate this month, what's better than a chocolate cake for a birthday?  I print then cut this cute chocolate cake from my Cricut.  I added some clear Wink of Stella onto the die cut and pop dotted it onto the white layer.

I used an edge die on the white layer so that you could see some of the pretty brown pattern paper I used.  These dies always cut a line above the pattern so I glued my Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine on that.  I do love how that looks!  I finished with the little bow at the top.

After everything was assembled, I added some brown self-stick pearls.  Someone at work had a birthday so it has already been given to her and she loved it!  It always great when people appreciate hand made cards :)

Trendy Twine: Guest Designer

Happy Friday Trendy Twiners!
It's Migdalia from Crafting with Creative M bringing you my second project as this month's guest designer here at Trendy Twine!

This is what I created......

I decorated my Kraft Gable Box with the DCWV's "Good Eats" Stack.
I wrapped Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine around the base of the box and added a pretty Chocolate Truffle twine bow.

I used foam dots to adhere the cute fox and wood log die cuts.
I embossed the leaves and then I adhered them to the back & front of the wood log. I stamped the "Happy Fall" sentiment from the Hello Fall Planner Stamp Set on a die cut tag and adhered the pretty fall leaves to the back.

To each front side of the gable box, I placed a gold eyelet and wrapped some of the Chocolate Truffle twine around it. I wanted it to look like a cute tassel.

To the top of the gable box, I added a pretty die cut bow and stamped the "Hello" sentiment from the same stamp set on a die cut tag.

I filled the gable box with chocolate treats! Yummy!
