Trendy Bakers Twine~Football Card

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today. School time is upon us, and with it, sports! My youngest son decided he wanted to try football this year, so I made a card for his first game that is coming up. Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine was the perfect accent for the card, of course!
I started off by cutting the football with my Silhouette Cameo. I simply used a football that is built into my Sure Cuts A Lot software. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder to create the texture on the football. The base of the card was created with kraft and brown cardstock as well as patterned paper from The Paper Studio's Boys Will Be Boys paper pad. I wrapped Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine around the background three times, then adhered it to the card base with Bearly Art Glue. The football was popped up with foam tape. I stamped a sentiment in green ink from the Greetings stamp set onto a pennant shaped banner. I inked around the outside of the white cardstock with brown ink to distress it, then glued it to the card front. A bow of Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine by the sentiment added another great touch of texture. The finishing elements were Chocolate Truffle Sequins for some shine.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine~Masculine With Thanks Card

Hello all, Beth from Beth's Beauties here today! This month we are spotlighting Bumblebee Trendy Twine, a bright, cheerful twist of black and yellow. It is such a versatile color! Today, I am sharing a masculine card with it.

The patterned papers are from DCWV's Honey Dear stack. I thought they were great for a guy card and the colors were a perfect match with Bumblebee Trendy Twine! The background paper was cut to 4"x5.25" and the yellow plaid strip was cut to 2''x4.75". I then matted the narrow strip with black cardstock cut to 2.25"x5" and cut one end at 1.25" to create both sides of the strip. The cut ends border the outer edges of the card. I used my Crop-A-Dile and 1/18" eyelets and 20" of Bumblebee Trendy Twine to create the lacing area. I did not adhere the yellow strip until after it was loosely laced, then once both sides were glued in place, I tightened the laces and tied a bow.

The focal point was created with a Kraft Bracket Card matted with a black die cut from CC stitched rounded rectangle dies. The toolbench stamp is retired from a SumMore Fun set called Handy Man and was stamped with SB.com Rainy Day ink. The sentiment was from the APB Greetings stamp set (on SALE for only $9!) and was stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink. The Kraft Bracket Card was popped up with foam tape for a little extra dimension.

If you are looking for more inspiration on what you can create with Bumblebee Trendy Twine, you can see some of my past projects using it HERE.

Trendy Bakers Twine~Green & Kraft Treat

Good morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with a fun masculine treat packet in the green and kraft color scheme.  It features one of our twists of the month, Krazy for Kraft Trendy Twine.
I started by gluing a piece of burlap at the bottom of a Leaf Green Treat Packet, then wrapping the front with Krazy for Kraft Trendy Twine.  I really love the masculine feel of those colors and textures together!
Next, I stamped the sentiment from APB You've Got Mail stamps using Olive ink and the heart from APB You & Me stamps using Succulent ink. Those inks were from Scrapbook.com and I love how they kept the greens monochromatic throughout the project.  The final touch was to add Twisted Lime Sequins using mini glue dots.  The one I added to the heart was to mask the little flower on the stamp so it could keep with the masculine theme.  I added M&M's as the treat inside.  Yummy!

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ Sailboat Note Card

Good morning! Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with another project that features Sky Trendy Twine and the products from our latest release,  Friendship stamp set and Sky sequins.
I started with a Sky scallop note card and stamped a retired sailboat stamp on it in Scrapbook.com Sugar Cookie ink.  I then stamped the sentiment from the Friendship stamp set using VersaMark and heat embossed it with white powder. I made a sailor's knot with Sky Trendy Twine and Totally Kraft Trendy Twine and glued it to the front and trimmed it along the edges when the glue was dry.  The finishing touch was a trio of Sky sequins in the bottom left corner.
I also made a matching kraft small envelope by stamping the same sailboat stamp using the same ink I used on the card. These kraft small envelope are specifically sized to fit the scalloped note cards making it so easy to present them!

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine~Level Up Card

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here to share a bonus project for the Trendy Twine blog that uses Blue Berry Trendy Twine, our featured twine for June.  It is a birthday card with a gamer in mind!
The patterned papers are from DCWV's Boyhood stack and they matched the Blue Berry Trendy Twine perfectly!  Once the background paper was adhered, I simply wrapped circles of Blue Berry Trendy Twine and Limeade Trendy Twine around my fingers then laid it on the card, adhering it when I thought it was the way I wanted it.  I popped up the sentiment paper, making sure the foam tape was not on top of the twine.  I finished off the card with some coordinating sequins.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ Father's Day Card

Hello crafty friends!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with this Father's Day card.  It features Blue Berry Trendy Twine which is our monthly spotlight.
I started off by stamping the Father Calligraphy stamp (Paper Inspirations brand) in VersaFine Onyx Black ink and heat embossing it with clear powder. I then chose several prints from the DCWV Guy stack and layered them in various directions.  I adhered the stamped panel to the front with foam tape.
Before attaching the card front to the card base, I used my Crop-A-Dile to add six small eyelets to the right side of the card.  I strung Blue Berry Trendy Twine through the eyelets and tied a knot in it as well for visual interest.  I really liked the pop of blue with the other muted colors of the card.  The final step was to adhere it to the card base with strong adhesive.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ Motorcycle Cards

Hello friends!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here.  Our featured twine for the month is Cherry Licorice Trendy Twine.  I decided to do something very different from the love theme that is generally present this month and made some masculine cards.
My first card uses our featured Cherry Licorice Trendy Twine wrapped around the background papers.  I stamped a motorcycle from Raisin Boat's Highway High stamp set in black then heat embossed it with clear powder for shine.  The sentiment was from the same set and was stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed with white powder.
I die cut around it with oval dies then popped that panel up with foam tape over the Cherry Licorice Trendy Twine.  Two square sequins from the Christmas Shaker Medley were attached in the top right corner using Glue Dots.
After making the red card, I had to make one with Orange Licorice Trendy Twine!  I love how the orange really pops against the black and grays. It was made in the same way as the red card except I used enamel dots to embellish instead of sequins.
Here you can see the shine of the embossing on the motorcycle.
