Trendy Bakers Twine~Mother's Day Card

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with a Mother's Day card.  It features one of our bright and cheerful twines of the month, Totally Lemon Trendy Twine.

I started by stamping a Unity stamp onto watercolor paper with Scrapbook.com hybrid black ink.  Once that was fully dry, I watercolored the image with Distress Inks then die cut around the image with a GMD Eyelet Elegance rectangle die.  That die has the perfect holes to weave the Totally Lemon Trendy Twine through!  I love how it added texture and created another visual frame around the image.  I added a sentiment from the APB Friendship stamp set onto a kraft banner and glued a die cut "mom" above it to make it a little more personalized.  The sequins on the card are from the Grape Fizz Sequin, Raspberry Cupcake Sequin and Sky Sequin mixes and were adhered with Bearly Art precision tip glue. The whole front panel was then glued to a kraft card base that I had distressed with brown ink along the edges.  I think this will be the perfect card to give my mom for Mother's Day!

Trendy Bakers Twine - Baby Gift Box

Hi Trendy Fans!

This is Shelly from My Paper Love sharing a little gift box project using our spotlight twine Sky Trendy Twine. This twine is so perfect for all things baby. It is such a pretty combo of light blue with natural/unbleached twine. 

I started my project with a kraft box from Annie's Paper Boutique. I used some cute patterned paper to decorate the box and simply cut all the pieces to fit the 2x2 box. I added a die cut sentiment and finished it off with the Sky sequins and Sky Trendy Twine

Having a few products on hand allows for some quick but cute projects. I really love how quick and fun this was to make. Stop by the store to grab the products. Hoping I have inspired you to get creative!

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ Congrats Baby Cards

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with two cards that use the recently released Sky sequins.  The first one is for welcoming a baby boy and the second a baby girl.

The focal point for the baby boy card is a Round Pale Blue Country Bear Vintage Inspired Tag.  That was glued to a GMD Regal Doily die cut out of cork paper.  The papers used on this card are from Authentique's Cuddle Boy paper pad and DCWV's Cork stack.  The Cottage Cutz button die cut was laced with Sky Trendy Twine.

I wound Sky Trendy Twine around the border where the two patterned papers met three times and added a Sizzix congrats die cut and Sky sequins to the bottom.

The baby girl card was made in the same style, just swapping the colors to be more girly!  I used a Round Pink Country Bear Vintage Inspired Tag, Cotton Candy Trendy Twine, and Sky sequins on it paired with DCWV Wild and Free papers.  I also used Scrapbook.com Sugar Cookie ink to edge the patterned papers to make them look more vintage to match the feel of the Country Bear tag.

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ Sailboat Note Card

Good morning! Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with another project that features Sky Trendy Twine and the products from our latest release,  Friendship stamp set and Sky sequins.

I started with a Sky scallop note card and stamped a retired sailboat stamp on it in Scrapbook.com Sugar Cookie ink.  I then stamped the sentiment from the Friendship stamp set using VersaMark and heat embossed it with white powder. I made a sailor's knot with Sky Trendy Twine and Totally Kraft Trendy Twine and glued it to the front and trimmed it along the edges when the glue was dry.  The finishing touch was a trio of Sky sequins in the bottom left corner.

I also made a matching kraft small envelope by stamping the same sailboat stamp using the same ink I used on the card. These kraft small envelope are specifically sized to fit the scalloped note cards making it so easy to present them!

Annie's Paper Boutique - Friendship Stamp Release

Today is an exciting day for us at Annie's Paper Boutique as we release the Friendship stamp set and a new sequin mix called Sky.  The stamp set is a fantastic collection of sentiments that we all could use to let someone know how much we care about them.  There's no time like today to tell your family and friends how appreciated they are!  Here is a look at the Friendship stamp set.

The Sky sequins are a perfect match to the Sky Trendy Twine, with a mix of light blue, cream, and clear sequins.  Doesn't that mix just make you think of a beautiful summer sky?
