Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with two cards that use the recently released Sky sequins. The first one is for welcoming a baby boy and the second a baby girl.
The focal point for the baby boy card is a Round Pale Blue Country Bear Vintage Inspired Tag. That was glued to a GMD Regal Doily die cut out of cork paper. The papers used on this card are from Authentique's Cuddle Boy paper pad and DCWV's Cork stack. The Cottage Cutz button die cut was laced with Sky Trendy Twine.
I wound Sky Trendy Twine around the border where the two patterned papers met three times and added a Sizzix congrats die cut and Sky sequins to the bottom.
The baby girl card was made in the same style, just swapping the colors to be more girly! I used a Round Pink Country Bear Vintage Inspired Tag, Cotton Candy Trendy Twine, and Sky sequins on it paired with DCWV Wild and Free papers. I also used Scrapbook.com Sugar Cookie ink to edge the patterned papers to make them look more vintage to match the feel of the Country Bear tag.
