Trendy Bakers Twine - Treats & Sweets

Hello Trendy Fans!

Happy New Year! This is Shelly from My Paper Love stopping in to share a winter
treat using some Trendy Twine & Annie Paper Boutique products.

Have you used APB Kraft bags? They are such great little bags to have handy for treat holders. I used them here to make the adorable snowman treat. I found a cute snowman die cut in my collection and cut him out. I used some coordinating papers and placed them on the front of the bag. I stamped a sentiment from the This is December 2 Stamp Set,

I added the peppermint candy coated pretzels and tied it with some Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine,

I hope the New Year brings joy, happiness and lots of time to create fun projects! I hope have inspired you to pull out your paper and create a treat!!

You can stop by the Trendy store and check out the products I used for this project.

Trendy Twine - Guest Designer, Christi Steinbeck

Ten more days till Christmas!  (But, who is counting, right?)  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility with my last Guest Designer post for December.  I always love when Lesley and the gang here at Trendy Twine grace me with this honor!  Who can't resist Trendy Twine's Bakers Twine????  I know it is on the top of my Christmas list!

For my last project I want to share with you another Christmas card I made for a special friend.

I found something similar in a magazine, like my last post, but of course had to make this mine.

I started off with a white base folding it in half and putting a red Piece of AC Card stock on top of this.  I then pulled out my DCWV stack, Winter Solstice for the pattern snow flakes.  I Glued all three down together .

I brought out my Nested, Stitched Circles from Pink and Main and laid them in the middle of the front of the card.  (making sure to not have the back of my card in the way.)  And ran it through my Big Shot to cut out the 3 inch circle.

Taking a 3 inch die and a 4 inch die I then cut out the frame to go around the circle, and set it aside for later.

Cutting 5 , 3 1/2 inch pieces of Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine, I proceeded to lay ATG Tape around the circle edge then stretching the twine from one side to the other.  Keeping the twine at the top of the circle close together and spread out at the bottom.
When the Twine was laid out I put the ATG tape over the top of the twine edges around the circle edges again to now lay the frame I cut out earlier.  I proceeded to put Glitter Glue around the frame and set aside to dry.
I cut out a 1 1/2 in circle and a shadow for my sentiment and picked out a sentiment from a stamp set I had in my stash.  Once my glitter glue was dry I glued my sentiment on at the bottom of my circle and made a bow out of my Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine and draped it down the sides of my circle.  To finish it off, I added clear snowflakes and added red and blue bling to the centers to match my twine.

Here is what I used from Trendy Twine:

I hope you all have a VERY Merry Christmas and a VERY Happy New Year!

Blessings,

Trendy Twine-Christmas Tree

Merry Christmas Eve Everyone!
Christi here from Scrapping for Tranquility!  I want to share with you an adorable idea for a quick and easy Christmas decoration I came up with using my Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine and Frosted Cranberry Sequins.

I made a Christmas tree by wrapping the Trendy Twine around a
round, triangle, foam form.  For the "ornaments" on the tree I used the Frosted Cranberry Sequins stuck on with pearl-head straight pins.  To top the tree off I bought a gold star and painted it with blue acrylic paint and stuck it on top.

I am really pleased how it turned out and hope you enjoy it also.

Trendy Twine ~ Olaf Card

Do you want to build a snowman?  I do!  At least build one on a card ;)  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today, and I have this Olaf card to share with you.
As soon as I saw that sentiment on the APB Let It Snow stamp set, I knew I had to make a card with the Frozen theme using it!  And when I saw a Frozen paper stack, it was a match made in Heaven!
I used a trim of Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine between the two patterned papers and added a bow on the right side.  Three Peppermint Icicle Sequins were a great finishing touch!  I cut Olaf from a free svg file using black cardstock as his base and vinyl for all the colors.
For more details, on this card, stop by my blog, Beth's Beauties!

Trendy Twine-Snowman Card

Frosty  the Snowman was a jolly happy soul! That is how I feel about my card I made for Trendy Twine this week!  Hello!  Christi from Scrappy For Tranquility here and I want you to think ....FROSTY....FROST......FROSTED...Yeah that is it!  FROSTED!!!

It all started with this adorable SVG Vintage snowman from Little Scraps of Heaven.   I just adored him !  I thought what would look better with him but Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine and this beautiful paper my dear friend Beth sent me?

First I layered American Crafts Cardstock with the gorgeous Pattern paper that was given to me .  I then Took the Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine and wrapped it around the top 4 layers and tied it in a bow , making sure that it was at an angle and crossed over itself each time.  I added a small tag to it before adding the bow to add a special name to whoever you decide to give it to.  (I have not done this yet)

I then added the SVG of Frosty and slipped him behind the twine .  To top it off  what better look than  Frosted Cranberry Sequins that is a perfect ending to a Frosty.....Frosted......Song....I mean Card!  LOL  I added three to the top right corner of the card.

I would love it if you would stop by my blog and leave me some comments and I will respond back at: Scrapping For Tranquility!

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Thank you for joining me today!  I would love to hear from you!

Trendy Twine -- Love Joy Peace

Hello everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  This month, we are featuring the Cotton Muslin Bags and I am using the Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine.

I have to admit that I was very nervous about stamping on these bags.  I really did not know if it would actually work.  But I decided to give it a try.  I used some Winnie and Walter border stamps.  I inked up the words in blue MFT Hybrid ink.  It worked so well!  I can't wait to make some more of these!!  Before I stamped, I did a quick iron of the bag to make sure it was a flat surface.

After stamping, I decided to thread my twine through the bag for my ties.  There is already a bag pull on here, but I thought it would be fun to add the matching Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine.  I found a long plastic needle and started to go through while the other was still in there (in case this didn't work).  I did have to scrunch it up and just pull it through but it worked!  Next time, I would do this before I iron it nice and flat 😉

Lastly, I decide to make a tag to go with it. The base is a Red Tag-It from the store.  Then I used three stamps from the APB Merry Christmas set.  I wanted to add the Joy to it but did not have room for the whole Joy to the World stamp.  So I carefully inked just the Joy and it really did work.  These are really great stamps -- they stamp so very well.  There are also a few Frosted Cranberry Sequins on the tag as well as the Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine.

Please keep stopping by to see all the fun Christmas projects the design team has this month!

Trendy Twine ~ Peace & Joy Muslin Bag

Good morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today.  This month, we are featuring the 4"x6" Cotton Muslin Bags and Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine.
The 4"x6" Cotton Muslin Bags was a great blank canvas for me to create with.  I stamped small stars and a sentiment on it from the APB Merry Christmas stamp set.  I glued a variety of sequins from the Frosted Cranberry Sequins into the center of the stamped stars.
I used a Blue Tag-It as a topper on the bag.  The Christmas Blessings sentiment is from the APB Merry Christmas stamp set and the To: From: is from the APB Merry & Bright stamp set.  A large red button and a tie of Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine finished off the top.
The focal point of the bag, however, is the star that I stitched on it using Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine.
