For My Friend

Hello everyone!  Helen from HTB Creations back today.  I have a cute little treat bag for you today.  You can find the bags and the tag over at Annie's Paper Boutique along with the fabulous Trendy Twine.

These are the Glassine Bags along with White Tags.  I used Tickled Pink Trendy Twine on my tag along with a Pink Chevron Trendy Page Dot-Circle Reinforcement.

The bag is holding some leftover pink Starburst Jelly Beans -- I ate all the red :)  And I sealed the back with some Washi Tape.

The flowers are pop doted on--I love to add dimension.

The Challenge is over for the month, but be sure to stop back to see all the fun projects with the fabulous Trendy Twine!

Sweet Birthday Wishes!

Good Morning Trendy Twiners!!!!
Jessica here from Chick-n-Scrap!
Can you believe it is almost May??? The month's are just flying by and before we know it, Mother's Day will be here!
I have a birthday card to share today using one of the featured colors for the month~
Such a beautiful mix of pink, blue and white!
Isn't this Bugaboo image just adorable? I knew she would look perfect with some Bubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine for her balloon string!
I started my card by printing the image 2 times and coloring it with my copic markers. I did paper piece her shirt, bow and heart on her jeans using the matching pattern paper from Carta Bella that I picked up in the Trendy Twine store HERE. Using my Tombow Aqua Mono Liquid glue, I attached the Bubblegum Taffy over where the balloon sting is in the image. The twine is actually under the balloon, I colored and cut another balloon from the  second image I printed and popped it up using some foam dots. I let the bottom of the balloon string hang loose and then to attach it to my card, I added some staples in a crisscross pattern.
To finish my card off, I added some machine stitching to the border and the one side of the image mat, stamped my sentiment and then added some stickles to the balloon.

Supplies used:
Paper~ White, Blue, Carta Bella~Giddy Up
Stamps~  My Creative Time~Vintage Sentiments
Bugaboo Stamps~BBrat Girl balloon sitter
EmbellishmentsBubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine
sewing machine, stickles, pop dots, staples, copics

And here are the 2 spotlighted colors this month!
Make sure to pick them up..they are on sale for a few more days!
Thanks so much for stopping by.
I hope you have enjoyed my project and have a GREAT Monday!

Howl-O Friend Puppy Gift Tag

Hi friends!  It's Joy from Joy's Life.com.  I'm having a blast sharing my post here with you today.  That's my furry BFF, Saban, on the tag.  That's exactly how she looks except she's waaaaay bigger in person...but don't worry, she's super sweet.  She just turned one year old on the 21st!

I'm using these supplies: English Mastiff stamp (ebay), manila tag from office supply store, ink, paper (Bo Bunny Happy Tails collection) and this awesome Trendy Twine from Annie's Paper Boutique.

After stamping the puppy stamp onto some paper and fussy cutting it out, I hand cut some pieces of paper to cover the tag.  I used my ATG gun to glue everything down except for the dog.  I used Zip Dry Paper Glue to stick that down due to the tiny legs.

I used a sentiment from the Joy's Life Punny Animals stamp set and stamped on a white sheet of paper.  I used a punch to punch it out.

Next, I threaded some Blue Berry Trendy Twine through holes I punched in the tag.  Then I tied some Orangesicle twine through the hole in the tag.  (I re-punched that hole after covering it earlier.)  Finally, I tied a bow around the Orangesicle twine.  So cute!  I love all the color in the twine!

I sure enjoyed sharing this with you today!  Don't forget to pick up your Trendy Twine and more in Annie's Paper Boutique!  Come visit me at Joy's Life.com.

Happy Crafting!

You are amazing...

Happy Wednesday Trendy Twiners! I hope you are having a wonderful day! Thank you for stopping by the Trendy Twine blog to see the latest projects from the talented design team!

It's Jessi, from Kissin' Krafts, and I am excited to share my latest creation using this month's spotlight twine, Bubblegum Taffy!  It feels like it has been forever since I made a card! My creative card mojo has been missing for a while now! Hopefully, this is a sign that it is starting to make a comeback!

So here is my CAS card:

The sentiment is popped up on foam dots, allowing the twine to wrap around the front of the card twice. **Tip** To wrap the twine around the front of the card, you can cut a small slit into the folded top of the card.

Stop by the Trendy Twine store to see this month's sales! They will be ending soon!

Count the garden...

Hi everyone!!  Brigit here from Brigit's Scraps to share with you today a stamped card using this months Trendy Twine special Bubblegum Taffy.

I love the color combo of this twine it's so pretty, I thought a nice sentiment from Unity Stamps and some lace would look lovely with it.  I stamped the woodgrain background with pink, it really makes the blue and white polka dot paper stand out.

Sweet Treats

Hi there you fabulous Trendy Twiners!

This is Shelly from My Paper Love sharing a Sweet little treat with you today! Have you been by the Trendy Store you will find some pretty awesome things, one of which is treat packaging. Boxes, bags, tins, seals, & tags all in various sizes.  Today I used A pink glassine bag. These bags are lined and perfect for yummy cookies :)
I wanted to use both of the awesome colors we are showcasing this month.

I also thought it would be fun to follow the challenge guidelines, so I went with a floral theme. I created the word sweet on my gypsy using the Plantin Cricut cartridge.

I filled the middle of the flowers with Bubblegum Taffy Twine! What do ya think? I like the way it looks! I finished the top of the bag with some machine zig zag stitching and Twisted Gumball.

Hope you enjoyed my project, and don't forget to link up your project for this month's challenge: HERE

Easter Bunny Treats with Trendy Twine!

 Hi Trendy Twiners!!
It's Migdalia, from Crafting with Creative M, and it's my day to post.

I started with tags!
For my bunnies, I used the CAC2 cartridge, added googly eyes for that touch of cuteness, and  I doodled around my bunnies with a white gel pen. For the tags, I used the Sizzix Label Die.  I added my lovely pink & blue ribbons. I then, made lovely bows with the Bubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine, and placed a rhinestone brad on both. Love saying Bubblegum Taffy...LOL!  Yummy, right?

I then made my treat bags with cardstock cut out at  2 1/2 x 8 1/2.
I scored on 5, 4, & 1/2.

My Best Peep!

Hi everyone! I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  Today I have a treat box you can get from Annie's Paper Boutique (used a bit differently) along with the fun Twisted Gumball Trendy Twine (one of the April spotlights and on sale).

I have been eating way too much of the candy that I have bought for treat packaging, so I decided to make some note cards to put in this fun Candy Rectangle 2 5/8 x 3 9/16 Clear Box.

The White Tag is also from the store along with the cute Bubblegum Taffy Chevron Circle Reinforcements.  I decorated the tag with stamps and a die from My Creative Time.  I just had to add a cute Trendy Twine pom pom tail to the bunny :)  My pom pom making skills need a bit of work, I think -- LOL!  And lastly, I added some sequins to the tag.

The cards inside the box are 2 1/2 x 3 1/4 inches.  I stamped them with a My Creative Time Stamp.  Then I loaded them in the box and wrapped some of the yummy Bubblegum Taffy around the box and pop dotted my tag to the the top of it.

I thought this would be a great non-sweet treat for a friend!  This also could be entered into the challenge we have up right now.  Be sure to check out the details and enter.  We love to see what everyone creates!

Have a fabulous day!

Money Insert Card

Hello Trendy Twine fans, this is Sukie sharing a project today.  This month we are showcasing Bubblegum Taffy and Twisted Gumball which are both on sale. For my project I created this money insert card using a manilla paper pocket and tag from Annie's Paper Boutique.  My project was embellished with Bubblegum Taffy with twine stitching on the bottom of my tag.
I tucked in a doily behind some birthday themed card stock which was embellished with a strip of coordinating card stock punched with the Fiskars Apron Lace punch.  I stapled some ribbon on top of a folded scalloped circle and added a small twine bow.  A birthday sentiment was popped up on foam dots for added dimension.  A paper flower with a pearl center was used as an embellishment.  Some scattered sequins were the perfect finishing touch to my project.
Hope you will come join our monthly challenge.  Also, remember to check out the store for so many crafty supplies including a few of the ones I used on my project.

Easter Treats

Happy Friday!  This is Sukie and I have some fun treats to share today.  My daughter and husband both love chocolate covered raisins so I thought these would be the perfect Easter treats for them.
The cute little candy sacks and tags are both from Annie's Paper Boutique.  Lesley has so many different types of treat packaging in her store.  These flat bottom sacks were the perfect size to fill with the chocolate covered raisins.
The tags are just adorable, there are different Easter tags available here.  Since the tags are printable, it makes it easy to create a project.  I used the 2 inch EK Success scalloped circle punch for my tag and the 2 1/4 inch EK Success scalloped circle punch for the solid layer under my tag.
My yummy treats were finished off with Twisted Gumball Trendy Twine.  Don't forget to come link up your project for this month's challenge.

Happy Easter...Little Duckling!!

 Hi Trendy Twiners!!

It's Migdalia, from Crafting with Creative M, and it's my day to post.
I am sharing with you today my super cute Easter card featuring one of this
month's Yummy colors....Bubblegum Taffy

I stared with a super cute duckling cutting file by PPPR.
With the help of my Portrait, I used the print & cut feature on white cardstock, as well as the faux-stitching feature around my ducky (lightly stitched). I then cut an extra layer of white cardstock with my Cuttlebug and the Spellbinder Nestabilties Square Scallop Die just to give the image an extra texture/shape and I then distressed around the square shape with pink ink. I added a gem flower on the center of the ducky's flower. I mounted the image on foam tape which I then adhered on the center of my card. The pretty pattern paper is a paper pad kit from K & Company, which also includes the pink & blue border. I doodled around my card with a white gel pen and stamped "Happy Easter".

Oh! Did you think I forgot the most important FEATURE of my card?
Well, that would the SUPER cute and YUMMY Bubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine!
Isn't it just YUMMY?

My project follows this month's Challenge which is......
Easter or floral theme
stitching (real with twine - including machine stitch - or faux with pen, ink, etc.)
and of course...
Trendy Twine

**If you do not have Trendy Twine, use hemp, jute,
embroidery thread, or yarn only; NO ribbon
(no other brands of bakers twine)**
