Trendy Bakers Twine -Sweet Easter Treat Holder

Hi Trendy Fans!

It's Shelly from MyPaperLove, and I'm back with another exciting project to jazz up your Easter celebrations! Today, I'm thrilled to share a delightful treat holder idea featuring our spotlight twine, the Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine. This project is not only simple but also adds a touch of sweetness to your Easter festivities.

I started my project with the pink pillow box to serve as the base for my treat holder. Next I used a green doily from the 3” doilies color bundle pack and placed it on the front of the pillow box to create a charming backdrop for your Easter-themed decoration.

Now time to add the star of the show – the Easter bunny! Affix the bunny embellishment to the center of the doily, securing it in place with glue or double-sided tape. Here comes the fun part! Take your
Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine and wrap it around the pillow box several times, ensuring it's snug but not too tight. Tie it off with a cute bow for an extra touch of charm. And there you have it – a simple yet adorable Easter treat holder that's sure to delight anyone who receives it! Whether you're adding it to an Easter basket or gifting it to a loved one, this sweet creation is bound to spread joy and smiles. So, what are you waiting for? Head over to Annie's Paper Boutique to grab your supplies and get crafting!

To create this adorable treat holder, you'll need just a couple supplies, all available at Annie's Paper Boutique:

Until next time, happy crafting and happy Easter!

Trendy Bakers Twine Easter Blessings Layout

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with something a little different than I usually create...a 12x12 scrapbook page! My now 5 year old daughter reminded me that I still don't have her first year album completed, so I took the opportunity to work on that a bit with this month's Trendy Twine twist, Watermelon Taffy.
Patterned papers are from Echo Park's Celebrate Easter paper pad. For captions, I used a Pink Bracket Card, then added Christmas Mint Trendy Page Dots in the curve of the side brackets, used a hole punch to punch the paper out of the center of the dots and wrapped and tied Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine in both areas. Documenting the Everyday stamp set was perfect for stamping sentiments on the page! The inks I used were VersaFine Onyx Black and VersaFine Clair Charming Pink.
The title was created in Sure Cuts a Lot, cut out on my Silhouette Cameo and popped up with foam tape. I wrapped Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine around the corner of the photo and embellished throughout the page with Pink Diamonds Sparkling Gems that I glued on with Bearly Art Precision glue. One other embellishment I used was a metallic orange washi tape.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Annie's Paper Boutique also has an awesome little Watermelon Taffy Sampler. Each color is ten yards in length and is wound on a wooden clothespin for easy use and storage. Colors in the set are Limeade, Watermelon Taffy, and Tickled Pink.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Sweeter Than Jelly Beans

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with a fairly simple Easter card. I really loved the jelly bean saying on the 3x4 card in the patterned paper pad, so I used that as the inspiration for the card.
The patterned papers are from Echo Park's Celebrate Easter paper pad. I matted the saying with kraft cardstock, then wrapped the yummy Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine around it like a frame and added a double bow of it in the bottom right corner. That twist of Trendy Twine is one of my absolute FAVORITES for springtime! The focal point was popped up with foam tape. To embellish, I used Bearly Art precision glue to add Pink Diamonds Sparkling Gems. I also added glitter Pearl Pen to some of the jelly beans for a little extra sparkle.

 Happy Spring!

It's so good to be back. I missed you! Thank you for being so patient as I underwent surgery and then recuperated. I'm so blessed that everything went well and pathology didn't find anything else.

We are having a shorter than normal month on the Trendy Twine blog, but that's ok because Beth and Shelly have some adorable Spring crafty inspiration. Beth will be here on Tuesday and Shelly will post next week, so be sure to check back.

Our Trendy Twine colors this month are Watermelon Taffy and Pink Limeade -- lovely twists with pink and lime green. Not only are they absolutely perfect for Spring and Easter, they are pretty enough to use all year long.

Trendy Bakers Twine -- Twine & Tags

Hello everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations. I'm playing with Twine and Tags for today's post.  I used Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine, a Pink Large Tag-It, Small Treat Box, Happy Halloween Stamp Set, Twisted Lime and Raspberry Cupcake Sequin Mixes, and a Limeberry Dottie Trendy Page Dot.

I saw this adorable ant with the watermelon so I new it would be perfect for this project. I filled my Small Treat Box with some Sour Watermelon candies and wrapped my Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine around the box both ways and just made a small knot.

Next I used dimensional tape to add my ant to the Pink Large Tag-It. I  added Clear Wink of Stella and some Glossy Accents to the eyes of the ant. Then I added my sentiment from the Happy Halloween Set, my sequins and the Trendy Page Dot.  I finished it off with a Twine topper for the tag and added the tag to the box.

I used to not like making tags, but I've been having a lot of fun with them lately.  There are so many fun ones in the store so be sure to check out the links below to do a little shopping.

Have a wonderful day!

Guest Designer Stacey Day 3

Happy Sunday and Happy Mother's Day to all of the Mom's out there!
I hope you are having a fabulous day!

It's me, Stacey, back for my last day as a guest designer for
Trendy Twine!
I have had so much fun this weekend!
A big Thank You to Lesley for allowing me to take over the blog for a bit :)

For my final project, I went with a Mother's Day theme in honor of today.

First up is my card:

I went with a 4x4 square card. I added a some patterned paper and a white doily edge and then wrapped some of that absolutely gorgeous Watermelon Taffy around and tied it off with a bow. I then popped up that layer onto my card base with some foam adhesive. I added my greeting, tucking the edges under the twine just a bit. I added a rose to the bottom corner and some bling along the edge.

I thought it would be nice to also include some candy so I used the Candy Tin to make a little gift:

I wrapped some of the Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine around the edge of my patterned paper and also added a fun little bow to my greeting.

Here is a look at the card and the tin together:
