A "Christmas In July" Treat!!

Hello, Trendy Twiners!

It's Millie, from Crafting with Creative M, today sharing my project with you.

Today's spotlight is Peppermint Stick Trendy Twine.

 

So for my project I made a Super cute & Yummy Treat!

A "Christmas In July" Treat!

What else would go perfect with Peppermint Stick Twine!

With my portrait, I used the print, cut & offset feature on my adorable KBD Christmas Bear.

I then placed my Christmas Bear on a oval shape.

In my Christmas stash I found the polka dotted ribbon which went perfect with the

Peppermint Stick and Button!

I then stamped "I Love You Beary Much" from CDD's Punny Stamp Set.

Remember, I said a treat, a yummy treat?

I used a Small Kraft Bag and put (2) chocolate Ghirardelli's inside.

Under the Sea Tent Card

Alyssa here again from My Thoughts Exactly :) Are you tired of me yet? Today I am once again featuring Krazy for Kraft Trendy Twine. I was inspired by a step card I made last summer and I decided to give it a new spin as a tent card:

Don't you just love that puffer fish?? I can't stop using him, he's just too adorable :)

Gift Card Bookmark

Hey everyone!
Alyssa here from My Thoughts Exactly. Today I have a fun little duel gift featuring Krazy for Kraft Trendy Twine. This cute gift card holder also doubles as a bookmark!

On the front I stamped "Enjoy, it's your day" from the My Thoughts Exactly Big Thoughts stamp set.

To create the adorable flower I looped some yummy Krazy for Kraft Trendy Twine.

It slides open to reveal a gift card!

And once you remove the gift card it can be used as a bookmark!!

Isn't that a fun little addition to a gift card?

Beach Fashion - Trendy Twine style!

Hi everyone!  Believe it or not, I am currently trying to beat the heat up here in Canada, so I thought I would have some fun using my Krazy for Kraft twine for a bit of beach fashion fun!  Now, I hope you are not expecting a string (twine?) bikini, because heaven knows you won't catch me in one of those, but I do have a couple of altered hats that I wanted to share with you all today! 

This first one simply uses a pompom with a bit of black embroidery floss mixed in for a dimensional and textural feature on the kraft coloured flower. 

And this second one uses a few knots and some twisted strands to take this beach hat from a bit drab to Trendy Twine fab (okay, that was really bad fashion cliche... I better stick to crafting)!  :)

Trendy Twine Monday Featuring Krazy for Kraft

Wow, can you believe it's August already and time for another group post here on the blog?  Time is really flying by.  And this month's theme is Just Another Day at the Beach.  How perfect for a nice, hot, and sticky summer.

This month the Trendy Gals are spotlighting Krazy for Kraft Trendy Twine.  Kraft is one of my favorite colors to work with.  I absolutely love kraft cardstock and paper, so I had to get a twine to match it.  That is a no-brainer :)

And of course, we have Krazy for Kraft on sale this month, so everyone can get some to play with.  There is also a Kraft Mini Trio available this month only.
