This first one simply uses a pompom with a bit of black embroidery floss mixed in for a dimensional and textural feature on the kraft coloured flower.
And this second one uses a few knots and some twisted strands to take this beach hat from a bit drab to Trendy Twine fab (okay, that was really bad fashion cliche... I better stick to crafting)! :)
