Jump into Spring! Guest Designer..

Hey everyone! I am so excited to be Guest Designing here today!
I just adore Trendy Twine and LOVE LOVE LOVE Lesley.. she is a doll!
I have to admit I am totally partial to Trendy Twine. It's the only twine I use.
So when she asked me to Guest Design, I jumped on the chance.
If you don't know me, my name is Alison from The Alley Way Stamps.
I also have a personal blog Creations by Alison where you can see all the fun things I create!

For my project today I wanted to create something that felt like SPRING!
Since I am in Utah, and we had SNOW this week..:( this card was much needed.
For my card I used the Holly Green Twine for the grass.. it was so easy to make
and I love the texture it adds to the card.
Of course I felt like this little card needed something else. So I grabbed the Totally White Twine and made a little "carrot line" for my bunny's carrot to hang off of. The Stamps I used are from The Alley Way Stamps. Spring Has Sprung Set.
If you ever watch any of my videos.. you know that my daughter Liberty is never far away. I think it is super important for us to encourage the younger children to be creative.. so here is the card she made along with mine.. I just adore how it tuned out :)
The How To: video of making the card..

Here are a few of my creations using Trendy Twine...

Thank you so much for letting me share in this fun Twine day with you all :) hugs

I altered a gift box I purchased at Micheal's for a holiday party.
Then I filled it with some handmade cards.
I used some Christmas Mint, Cherry Limeade, Peppermint Stick and
Holly Green Trendy Twines on my project.

Thanks for stopping by the Trendy Twine blog today

Treat Bags For Any Occasion

Hi, it's Izzy Anderson from Write, Snap, Scrap here on the Trendy Twine blog today with some owl treat bags. These are one of my favorite things to make. They're easy, don’t require fancy tools and are always a hit with recipients.  I used these as holiday gifts for teachers and staff, but the sentiment can be changed to fit any occasion. You can find the treat bag tutorial on my blog.

To make the owl's eyes, I punched two large circles from cardstock, covered them with adhesive, then added twine and googly eyes.  I used Trendy Twine in Holly (green) and Holly Berry (green/red mix).

You have just a few more days to join our monthly challenge. It's easy to play and there's a great prize up for grabs! You can find all the details on this post.

Holiday Giveaway! - IS NOW CLOSED

Giveaway is now closed
and the winners will be announced this weekend.

*****************************************************
Let's go ahead and get a giveaway started.  This is for the new Berry Red and Holly Green spools that were released this month.  If you are a SU fan, these go really nicely with Real Red and Garden Green.  They also coordinate with the Christmas twines and the red also goes with the Valentine Cherry Cupcake twine.  I designed these to be used together, so you can mix and match them for more of a variety.  The two lucky winners will get to chose which one they prefer.  How awesome is that!!

So this let's get this going.  What do you need to do... you need to be a follower of  my blog and you need to comment on this post... with something NICE ;)  Giveaway will end on Wednesday the 28th at 11:00 pm CST.  The lucky winners will be announced next weekend.  If you want more chances to win, refer a friend and they need to mention you in the comment.  They will also need to follow the blog.  If someone wins that was referred, both of you will win.  So we actually could have three winners.

There were quite a few last time that were not followers.... don't miss out this time.

Now, it's time to have some fun.  Enjoy!
