Planner Friday - August

Amanda here from She's Eclectic. I'm sorry, I know it is still August and officially summer for a few more weeks yet but we are one day away from September and I can't wait for the season to change!  I've had a lovely summer but autumn is my favourite time of year and I'm ready for it to begin so my theme for this month's Planner Friday is very autumnal and inspired by APB's Hello Fall stamp set!   I wanted to create a monthly overview for September as my children go back to school next week and it's time to get organised again after a rather relaxed August so I opened up my TN and got to work with washi tapestamps , pens and stickers!

Used but not pictured: Coffee paper clip

My colour theme for September is full of oranges, browns, yellows and reds with a bit of green mixed in there too based around the colours of autumn leaves.  I used the image stamps from my Hello Fall set to add some fun decoration to my pages and matched them with a leaf print washi tape to pull it all together.   I coloured in the fall images and then added a big coffee cup sticker because all I ever hear about in autumn is pumpkin spiced lattes!  I have never tried one because they really don't appeal to me but so many people seem obsessed with them maybe I should give one a go this year!

Hello Fall image stamps in action

The next thing I did was to add all of my reminders and appointments etc to the month with my At Home and More At Home stamp sets and the start of a new school year meant that it was time to use my School Days stamps again too!  Until the children actually go back and get their new timetables I could only use the First Day of School stamp and the Club one to remind me that my oldest two need to return forms to select which after school activities they will be doing this year.  Once I know what and when things will be happening I can use the rest of the set to record things like PTA events, welcome back assemblies and the all important picture day!  I have left myself plenty of room to add these things over the upcoming weeks so it should be pretty easy for me to stay on top of things, fingers crossed!

September in my TN

This is how my month looks at the moment, there's nothing too scary on there just yet and hopefully it will stay that way but if things do get crazy I know I can handle it all as long as it is in my planner!

If you want to have a go at getting more organised or just want to check out all the planner stamps then stop by the store now and take a peek!

See you next time!

Trendy Bakers Twine - Christmas in August?

Hi Trendy Fans!

This is Shelly from My Paper Love sharing some Christmas inspiration - yes in August!  All month we have been spotlighting our beautiful Cherry Limeade twine and sharing all the ways to use this beautiful twine throughout the year. So for my last post I thought I would share some Christmas inspiration and make a much needed item for Christmas packages - the tags.
I have some large die cut tags that I like to use for larger packages. I cut them using some festive themed paper and added some SUPER fun sentiments from the Merry & Bright stamp set.

I tied them each with Cherry Limeade and they make the perfect tag.

I hope you enjoyed the inspiration all month long, you can stop by the blog and check out all the products on special.

Trendy Twine -- You're Sweet

Hello!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  Today I made a cute card using Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine and some Twisted Lime and Peppermint Stick Sequins.

The cute cherries are a Hello Kitty cut from my Cricut.  I cut out my top white layer and added my Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine at the bottom and added two small bows on each side.

I used some pop dots to add my cherries.  The last touch was the sequins -- green from Twisted Lime and red from Peppermint Stick.  It's always fun to mix and match.

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ School Chevron Bags

Hello all and happy Thursday!   Beth from Beth's Beauties sharing these treat bags with you today. This month we are showcasing Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine which was released as a Christmas twist, but as you can see, it is also perfect for back to school projects.
For these fun treats, I started with a Red Chevron Treat Bag, a Black Chevron Treat Bag, and a Light Green Chevron Treat Bag.  I added a homemade white chocolate Macadamia nut cookie to each bag.  Yummy!
Once they were closed, I wrapped the pretty Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine around the bag and added a Black Licorice Tag-It or Cranberry Tag-It to the front with a bow.  The tags were stamped on with the APB You've Got Mail stamp set and VersaMagic Cloud White ink.  I thought that really added a chalk look to the tag!  I added a Christmas Mint Trendy Page Dot and a circle punched from patterned paper to each tag as well.
The finishing touch was sequins from Lime Licorice Batty Sequins and Christmas Shaker Medley to add a little sparkle and pop of color to the bags.
Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Twine -- Sweet as a Cherry

Hello everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  Today I am showcasing Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine and the Short Candy Bags.  I also used White Tag It's, some red sequins from the Holly Berry Mix, and Christmas Mint Trendy Page Dots.

I found the cherry candies and just knew that they would be so cute in a clear bag and would be perfect with the twine. I stamped my sentiment on the Tag It and added a few red sequins from Holly Berry and put on a Red Christmas Mint Trendy Page Dot.

Next I loaded the candy into the Short Candy Bag and wrapped my Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine around and tied on the tag by finishing with a bow.  These are super easy to make a bunch at one time!

There's still some fun projects this month so don't miss out!

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ Back to School Candy Bags

Hello all and happy Thursday!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today. This month we are showcasing the super cute Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine which was released as a Christmas twist, but as you can see, it is also perfect for back to school projects.
I made these Back to School candy bags for my boys for their first day of school!  These would also be perfect to give to teachers.  I started with Short Candy Bags and wrapped 4 Hershey's Nuggets with patterned paper for each bag.  The paper dimensions for wrapping the Nuggets are 1" wide x 3" long.  Once the bags were sealed, I wrapped Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine around them and attached A White Metal Rim Tag with an apple sticker on it.  Easy peasy, but super cute!
Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine - Sweetie!

Hi Trendy Fans!

This is Shelly from My Paper Love sharing an adorable treat.  All month we are spotlighting our beautiful Cherry Limeade twine. Along with our fun twine, we are also spotlighting our Short Candy Bags

Today I'm sharing how I used both for a cute summer treat!

I'm kinda in love with this little gal. That sweet berry face is so cute! I found some strawberry candies at the store and immediately thought they would be a perfect treat for someone sweet :)
The short candy bags are great for any types of small candy. They fit the nugget candy perfectly and as you can see even small hard candy fit nicely. For a little topper, I die cut a strawberry and then added the most adorable PKS face.
Isn't she cute? I just added a tiny bow of Cherry Limeade twine and stamped a sentiment from You & Me Planner Stamps.

Make sure you stop over to the blog and see all the awesome projects this week.

Trendy Baker's Twine - Hello

Hi Trendy Fans!

This is Shelly from My Paper Love sharing a cute card.  This month we are spotlighting our beautiful Cherry Limeade twine. It's a festive twist of red and bright lime green. This color was originally created for the holidays, but is pretty enough to use all year long. Along with our fun twine, we are also spotlighting our Short Candy Bags

Today I'm showing you how perfect this twine is for a fun summer card.

I wanted something fun and I thought the watermelon colors were perfect for the Cherry Limeade. I actually used a bunch of circle die cuts and cut them in half. So EASY!
I added a few hole punched dots for seeds and then found a hello die cut to add to the card. Lastly I tied the card with the Cherry Limeade. Such an easy but cute card to send a summer hello!
