Birthday Calories Don't Count!

Hey everyone! Candace here from Scrappin' 2 Little Princesses! Today I have a card using the Trick or Treat twine! Since I love to get the most of my holiday twine, I thought I would come up with a project that is not holiday themed! The purple and orange make a fun combo for a birthday card!

I am so in love with washi tape right now, too. A touch of twine over some washi makes a fun combination. There is a great selection of fun washi tape over in Annie's Paper Boutique, FYI! ;)

In case you are wondering, I also used an SVG from Miss Kate Cuttables and a sentiment from the Sweet Birthday Wishes stamp set from Jaded Blossom.

I hope you enjoyed my CAS birthday card today!!

Thankful Thoughts

Hey Everyone!

Jamie here to share another project using Trick or Treat Twine!

I wanted to show you that it's not just for Halloween projects, so I made a Fall card.

I used the twine to make the center of my flower. I covered a 3/4" circle with a dot glue runner and then attached the twine to it. I made the flower with a die. Then I wrapped a little bit of the twine behind the flower too.

Here's a close up of the flower.

Candy Corn Treats

Hi everyone!  Helen here from HTB Creations.  I have some more Skinny Candy Chutes to show you today.  I love these boxes and I found the perfect treat to go in there--Candy Corn M&M's!  They are a bit larger than the regular ones and they fit perfectly in here.

I wanted to match the candy corn colors with my twine so I used Lemon Tart and Orangesicle Trendy Twine.

The candy corn lady is from the Smiley Cards Cricut Cartridge, the tickets are from My Creative Time dies, and the stamp is My Pink Stamper.  I ended up with a lot of bows on my project :)

Don't forget to join in the Spooky Tags and Twine Challenge.  It ends Friday night!

Our Twine of the month is Trick or Treat and there are lots of other fun Halloween colors too, so be sure to check out the store :)

Spooky Sweets

Hey Everyone!

Jamie here with my take on the new challenge.
Spooky Tags and Twine
Must include- tag, Halloween image(flair, stamp, sticker, diecut or brad) and twine

We are featuring the new Trick or Treat Twine this month!

I made a yummy tag with a twine stitched bag on it.  I used the Trick or Treat twine to outline and then do a criss cross pattern on. I added a little green ribbon bow on it too. I stamped the candy corn, colored it, then cut them out and pop dotted them to the tag. Filled up the tube with some matching candy corn and tied the tag to it.

Here's a close up of the fun little treat bag!
Check out my blog HERE to find out all the details on my project!

Boo Layout

This is Sukie and we are sharing projects featuring the Trick or Treat Halloween Twine this month.  For my project, I created a one page 12x12 layout.  I tried a new technique using the twine to write the title. It was fairly simple to create the letters with the twine and adhere them with glue.
With the patterned paper, I didn't need to do much embellishing on my layout so made the title the focal point and added a couple of spiders from my stash.  The small Halloween tag also came from my stash. The webs on the corners of the photo mats were punched with a Martha Stewart punch.  I added a little bit of Black Licorice Trendy Twine to the spider dangling from the web.
We have many Halloween colors of twine to choose from, check them out in the store.  Also, come link up your projects with our new challenge this month.

Trick or Treat Gable Box

Good Morning Trendy Twiners!!
Jessica here from Chick-n-Scrap to share a Halloween Packaging idea with you using lots of products that you can pick up in the Trendy Twine store.

All month the DT will be showcasing the beautiful Trick or Treat Trendy Twine
so for my project I took one of the Gable Boxes and decorated it to fill with some sweet treats. Here is my project, I hope you like it :)
These Gable Boxes are such a great size and so easy to embellish for whatever holiday you want. And at such a great can not beat them!

Anyways want to know how I did this??
I started out by cutting my designer paper to size for each side of the box and then using my ATG to attach them around all four sides.

Moving onto the sentiment stamp, I used my Cameo to cut 2 circles, one in white card stock so I could stamp my Halloween Seal Pumpkin and one slightly larger in purple to mat it onto. I added some foam pop dots to the back and placed it aside so I could wrap my twine.

I took the Trick or Treat Trendy Twine and wrapped it around the box 2 time bringing both ends to the front of the box so I could loop my button through and tie it into a bow behind the button. Then to finish the twine I knotted both ends at the bottom.
Finally to finish off my box, I placed the popped up sentiment onto the box and of course filled it up with some yummy treats!
It is now ready to be passed along as a gift :)

I hope you  have enjoyed my project!
Just a few reminders before I send you on your way......

Trick or Treat Candy Boxes

Hi everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  Today I have some fun candy boxes to show you. You can purchase them from the store along with the Trick to Treat Trendy Twine I am showing you today.

I started out using the Clear Skinny Candy Chute filled with Reece's Pieces.  But my kids starting eating my props (AKA candy), so I grabbed a Shorty Candy Chute and filled one with Reeces' and one with chocolate kisses.

My original plan was to make some twine spiders out of 3D dots.  But the legs were not really working for me so I just made them plain to look like candy.  I love to make these twine swirls.  They are so fun with the great Trendy Twine twist combinations.  You can make a candy land of dots!

To make the swirls, I made a small knot in at the very end of the Trick or Treat Trendy Twine and put this is the middle of a 3D dot.  Then I just swirl outward to the end of the dot.  Super easy and I just love the look!

The new challenge was just posted yesterday, so be sure to check it out and play along.  You should also visit the store now to get all your twine and treat boxes so you are ready for Halloween!

And you still have until tomorrow night to leave comments for the Totally Limeade Blog Hop--there are some great prizes up for grabs :)

Have a fabulous day!
