Happy Birthday Lesley!

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here. Today is a special day...Lesley's birthday! Lesley is the owner of Annie's Paper Boutique. Of course, I couldn't let this day go by without a special birthday post. Here is the card I sent off to Lesley. 

The patterned paper is from the Doodlebug Design Lots of Love collection. Isn't it so cheery?! I used GMD scalloped stitched rectangle dies and a flower die to cut the different elements out. The flower layers were inked with SB.com Cardinal ink. The center strip was embellished with Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine. The different layers were adhered with ATG and Bearly Art precision tip glue. The sentiment is from the You've Got Mail stamp set, stamped with VersaFine Onyx black ink. The finishing touch was a trio of Raspberry Cupcake sequins.

Tag Tuesday~Happy Day Tag Cards

Good morning! Beth from Beth's Beauties here, back with another Tag Tuesday project. This time, it is a little different. I created cards that have a focal point of a tag instead of just decorating a tag. I love the extra visual interest a tag adds to cards!

The four cards are created in the same manner, but have different tag/twine combinations. The card layout was inspired by the December 2019 SheetLoad of Cards sketch. All cards have papers from DCWV's Get It Girl stack. The first two cards used Lemon Tag-Its, Kraft Brown Trendy Page Dots, and Krazy for Kraft Trendy Twine. The sentiment from Pink and Main's Birthday Wishes stamp set was stamped on all the tags with VersaFine Clair Morning Mist ink.

This second style of tag was created with a White Tag-It, Lemon Midnight Trendy Page Dot, and Totally Lemon Trendy Twine. 

The final style of tag was created with a Kraft Tag-It, Lemon Midnight Trendy Page Dot, and Stormy Trendy Twine. Adhesives used include ATG, Scotch foam tape, and Bearly Art precision glue. The cards were embellished with Sunny Yellow Pearl Pen dots and thin gold nail art tape.

Trendy Bakers Twine~Happy Birthday Tom!

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here with an extra special post. It happens to be Lesley's dad's 80th birthday today, and this is the card that I created for him.  Join us in wishing him all the best on his special day!

One of the things Tom likes is vintage cars, so I knew this Unity Stamp Co. image would be a great focal point for the card!  It was stamped in Scrapbook.com Dark Chocolate ink and accented with white colored pencil.  Both the image and patterned paper panels were die cut with GMD wonky stitched rectangle dies.  The fun vintage license plate paper is from DCWV's Treasure stack.  Around the patterned paper, I wrapped orange ribbon from the Chevron Ribbon Sampler and Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine. I then adhered that layer to the background with scor-tape. After that, I added the car panel with foam tape.  For a sentiment, I used a Petite Kraft Metal Rim Tag on which I stamped words from the Hello Fall Planner Stamp Set in dark chocolate ink.  Once that was glued to the front, I also embellished with two square brads in the top left corner.  I hope Tom enjoys this card and has a birthday filled with joy!

Trendy Bakers Twine~SheetLoad of Red, White, & Blue Cards

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here.  This month we are sharing patriotic projects on the Trendy Twine blog.  It is always fun to use the patriotic twines of Berries Jubilee Trendy Twine and Stars & Stripes Trendy Twine!  Today I am sharing a SheetLoad of red, white, & blue cards.

I decided to make a set of cards that could be used in a patriotic way, but also more versatile.  I decided to use the March 2023 SheetLoad of Cards sketch and paper from the BoBunny Celebrating Freedom 6x8 paper pad for today's 8 cards.  The sentiment is from the Greetings stamp set and was stamped in SB.com midnight blue ink.  Once that strip was adhered onto the white/patterned paper panel, I wrapped a length of Stars & Stripes Trendy Twine above and below it.  Using a strong double sided tape, I adhered that panel to the card base.

To embellish, I die cut flowers out of solid cardstock and popped them up with foam tape to the left of the sentiment.  A trio of small gems finished off the card.  Here is a look at all 8 cards!  I enjoyed rotating the papers through all four areas of the card to make different looks.  Now these can be sent out as party invitations OR birthday cards!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Unicorn Birthday Card

Good morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with a delightfully whimsical unicorn birthday card.  I loved making it so much, I made multiples of this card!

All of the patterned papers are from the DCWV Unicorns & Rainbows stack.  If you haven't seen those papers yet, you are missing out!  The colors perfectly matched the Trendy Twine twist of the month, Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine.  Those pinks are such happy colors!  I also used DCWV Glitzy Glitter for the light blue layer and solid white cardstock for the sentiment.  The sentiment stamp and die are Unity Say It Big and the stamp was used with VersaFine Clair Morning Mist ink.  Once I wrapped the Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine around the cardstock panel, I added the sentiments with foam tape.  The final sparkly touch was a trio of Pink Diamonds Sparkling Gems adhered with Bearly Art glue.

Trendy Bakers Twine~Happy Bark-day

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here, and I'm back to share a card my son Levi (11 years old) created!  He created it for a friend's birthday and used Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine on it.

The background is covered with patterned paper from The Paper Studio's Treat Your Self paper pad.  The stamps are from Paper Smooches Birthday Buddies.  He colored the stamped image with markers before wrapping Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine around it.  It matched the color of the dog's ears perfectly!  Once the stamped panel was adhered, the fun birthday card was complete.

Trendy Bakers Twine~Birthday Circuitry Card

Happy Wednesday and St. Patrick's Day morning! Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with a card that features a lot of green, but instead of a St. Patty's day theme, it is for a birthday.

I used an SVG file from SnapDragon Snippets, my Silhouette Cameo, and solid cardstock to make the main parts of the card.  I decided to add the USB drive cut out to the card with Twisted Lime Trendy Twine so it could move freely.  The last thing I did was add silver pearl pen dots to all the ends of the circuits so it resembled soldering.  That was it!  Card completed!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Tiger Birthday Card

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here, sharing a card my son Levi (11 years old) created for the blog!  A bow of Totally Pumpkin Trendy Twine was the perfect accent to the card he created for his cousin's birthday.

He stamped and colored the cute tiger, added patterned paper, and used square dies to create the base of the card.  A few sequins and the bow of Totally Pumpkin Trendy Twine were the perfect embellishments!

Trendy Bakers Twine -- Happy Birthday

Hello everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations..  Today I have a simple, but pretty, birthday card using Posy Trendy Twine to share with you.

I never have enough birthday cards.  And during this stay at home stuff, I'm trying to mail cardsmore often, so I made this pretty pastel birthday card to add to my stash.  I picked out this pretty flower patterned paper to go along with my Posy Trendy Twine.  Then I cut out the flowers from Cricut Design Space as a print then cut.

I die cut the top base and glued down my Posy Trendy Twine around the border and added a cute bow at the bottom.  The flower die cut is pop dotted on and I added some flat enamel stickers to the flower centers.

This was a pretty quick card to put together yet looks so pretty!
