Trendy Bakers Twine~Halloween Treat Bag

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here with a sweet Halloween treat bag. It is a quick way to dress up treats to give to someone special!

I started by placing 2 Reese's candies into the Black Chevron Treat Bag and folded the flap over on it. For the tag, I used a Mango Tag-It, added a Lime Orangesicle Trendy Page Dot and Lime Licorice Trendy Twine to the top. The focal point is a Happy Halloween Cat Print & Punch Tag that I printed off then cut around with my Brother Scan N Cut. Those can also be punched out with a 2" circle punch or die if you have one of those on hand! The chevron circle mat was die cut from Pink and Main's Card Cut Essentials die #2 and was popped up with foam tape on the tag-it. The tag and Bewitching Sequins were adhered with red-lined tape. Now this treat is ready to be given and enjoyed!

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

If you don't need a full spool of the Lime Licorice I used, check out this Halloween Sampler with several colors in it! Each twist is 10 yards in length and wrapped on a wooden clothespin for easy storage.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Halloween Card Set

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here. Halloween is just around the corner, and I have a set of cards with that theme to share with you today.

In an attempt to work smarter, not harder, I used Pink and Main's Card Cut Essentials dies 1&2 plus 2.5 sheets of 6x6" MAMBI Halloween paper to die cut all the elements that you see on these cards. Once the pieces were all cut, I simply laid out different die cut elements that I thought worked well together and I ended up with 6 cards full of Halloween cuteness and elements from Annie's Paper Boutique!
All of the cards have Lime Licorice Trendy Twine featured on them in one technique or another. Really any of the Halloween Trendy Twines would have worked, but in effort to keep things simple, I just stuck with the one twist.
They also all have different sentiments from the APB Happy Halloween stamp set on them. I love the fun fonts and variety of cute sayings in that set! I used Versafine Onyx Black ink for those.
The stamped Halloween kids are from a retired Victorine Originals stamp set, but you can make anything the focal point of your cards! One great option would be to grab some Halloween Tags from Annie's Paper Boutique. There are so many different styles! Another easy peasy choice to use as your focal point are APB Halloween printables you can print off on your own printer. You can find them HERE and HERE.
To embellish the cards, I used Bewitching Sequins and glued them on with Bearly Art precision glue.
Other items used on these cards include ATG, foam tape, SB.com hybrid black ink, Artify alcohol markers, and a Cottage Cutz stitched circle die. Now I have a head start on my cards to send out for Halloween! What have you been making for the upcoming holidays?

Trendy Bakers Twine~Collection of Halloween Cards

Good morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with this collection of Halloween cards.  Every year I send out Halloween cards to my family, so I go through a lot.  These were pretty simple, making them easy to mass produce!
I started with pre-made 5x7" black card bases and an old DCWV Fall & Halloween stack that had the decorative end cut on the patterned papers already.  I wrapped several colors of Trendy Twine around the patterned paper bases, including: Grape Licorice Trendy TwineOrange Licorice Trendy Twine, Lime Licorice Trendy Twine, and Twisted Teal Trendy Twine.  The focal point cut aparts were from a different DCWV Halloween stack, but they worked well together.  I popped those up with foam tape.
The only card that didn't already have a sentiment on it was the owl card.  I added a stamped sentiment to it using APB Happy Halloween stamp set and black ink.
Here is a close up of my favorite one.  I love all that is going on on that background!  I kept them simple, not adding other embellishments besides the Trendy Twines, but you could easily add APB Halloween sequins to dress them up even more.

Trendy Twine -- Batty For You

Hello everyone! I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  It's finally a bit cooler here in Georgia and it's almost Halloween!  What a fun time of year.

Today, I made a shaker card using my Lime Licorice Trendy Twine along with the Lime Licorice Batty Sequins and the Happy Halloween Stamp set

I used a circle die to cut out the center of my pattern paper and my Cricut to cut out the black back circle.  That cut is for pumpkin carving but it's perfect for a cover for the shaker card 😃

I glued my Lime Licorice Trendy Twine around the outside of the circle, added a bow and sparkled up the bats.  Then I found a small tag die to stamp my sentiment on from Happy Halloween.  I used the Lime Licorice Batty Sequins for my shaker mix along with some small and bigger glitter to match the sequins.  And I added two bats to the front label which I did use small pop dots on.

You still have time to shop for Halloween goodies at the store. Be sure to stop by and shop!

Trendy Twine -- It's All About the Candy!

Hello all!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations. Can you believe it's October already?  That means it's candy time :)  My project today is with the Large Treat SacksLime Licorice Trendy Twine, the Happy Halloween Stamp Set, and some new Lime Licorice Page Dots.  I just love to make Halloween treats!

I used some DCWV Pattern Paper for the bag topper on my Large Treat Sacks.  These bags can hold a lot of goodies in them! Then I punched my holds in the bag and added my Lime Licorice Page Dots.  Then I threaded my Lime Licorice Trendy Twine through the holes a few times and made a bow.

I die cut a small banner and some black spiders.  The sentiment from Happy Halloween Stamp Set was stamped onto the banner.  Then I added my spiders.  I thought it would be fun to have one hanging down from the bag on the twine.

We have lots of fun projects this month so make sure to stay tuned here on the blog.  Tomorrow, we have a special blog post for you so don't miss out!!

Be sure to head over to Annie's Paper Boutique to get all the treat bags and containers you need in time for Halloween too.
