Congrats on Your New Arrival.....{Baby Shower Favors}

Good Morning Trendy Twiners!!!!
Jessica here from Chick-n-Scrap
and I am so excited to be sharing another project with you all!

All month the DT has been sharing Baby projects using the Chocolate Sprinkles and Chocolate Cupcake Trendy Twine.
For my project today I made some baby boy shower favors. I really LOVE the way these turned out!!!
How fun would these be to give to your shower guests? Now I made mine for a baby boy but change up the colors and add some Chocolate Sprinkles Trendy Twine and you can make these for a baby girl too. To make these~ which is very quite simple, I used the Medium Candy Bags and wrapped my chocolate nuggets using matching blue and brown cardstock. Once they were all wrapped, I slid them into the candy bags and sealed them up, punching a hole in the top to add my tags.

Next, for my tags, I used the dies from My Creative Time and layered some white cardstock on top of the matching brown cardstock. I stamped my sentiment onto the bottom and then using my Cameo and a file I picked up in the Silhouette Store, I cut the adorable elephant.
I popped him up onto the tag, adding a black enamel dot for his eye and then tied the tag onto the candy bag with a double bow of the Chocolate Sprinkles Trendy Twine.
So aren't these fun???? Sure to be a hit at a baby shower for sure.

Stop by and have a look at the gorgeous twine and so many other fun items in the store HERE

Baby Shower Favor

Hello, this is Sukie and I have a project featuring Chocolate Sprinkles Trendy Twine which is now on sale.
I created a baby shower favor using a plastic milk bottle and a wooden scoop from Annie's Paper Boutique.  I punched a border and wrapped it around the bottle.  The twine was laced through the holes   of the border and wrapped around the center.  I added a rattle on top.  The top of the rattle was outlined with the Chocolate Sprinkles twine.
The top of the bottle was embellished with a scalloped circle and small button.  I attached the wooden scoop with the twine and added another button.  A sentiment from Craftin Desert Diva's Sugar & Spice stamp set was added to a hand cut flag.
Stop by the store and check out this fabulous twine and the 3 new colors just added to the Trendy Twine line up!  Have a great day!

Baby Layout

Hello, this is Sukie and I have a project featuring Chocolate Sprinkles Trendy Twine which is now on sale.

I will have a new nephew later on this year and I wanted to have something for his first picture.  I used the New Arrival cartridge for this single page 12x12 layout.  A Peachy Keen stamp was used for the baby's face and a small twine pom pom was added to his hat.

The twine was also wrapped around the photo mat as an accent and used on the journaling tag and safety pin.  A sentiment from the Craftin Desert Diva's Sugar & Spice stamp set was added to a hand cut flag.

Stop by the Annie's Paper Boutique to check out this fabulous twine and the 3 new colors just added to the Trendy Twine line up!  Have a great day!

Rocking Horse Gift Bag

It's Becki here from the Happy Card Encouragement Factory once again!  I can come up with some catchy titles, eh?  LOL  It gets hard thinking of clever names for your blog posts after about a year of blogging, so I say go with what you know.  :P And I know rocking horses.  Especially ones for little boys.  You know the ones I am talking about too.  They are pretty much destroyed by the time the first boy gets done with it that you have to buy another one for the second child.  Thank goodness no little boy will get a hold of this one.  I'm pretty sure his mommy will keep it from him.

See how I used the spotlight twine - Chocolate Sprinkles?  I just love how the tail and mane turned out.  I am soooo not going to tell you that was the longest part of this project.  Ooops....guess I just did.  If you would like the rest of the supply list or another close-up picture, check out my blog.

Don't forget you still have a few days to enter the challenge and win 50 yards of this yummy color!  If you don't have time and just want to purchase it, you can find it at the store.  Grab it while it's on sale.  Have a great day and happy crafting!

Go To Your Happy Place

This month, we have been featuring the delicious Chocolate Sprinkles twine here at Trendy Twine!  When I look at this pretty combination of brown and light blue, I definitely think of little boys and baby projects, so I thougth I would challenge myself to take it in a bit of a different direction:

For this layout, I decided to use the twine in a few different ways.  The first was to outline the matting of the title for the page to add a bit of dimension.  The second was to use the twine to create some stripes on top of some patterened paper.  And the final way was to add a stitching element around a couple of the flowers.  I love the dimension, and I think the twine really pops off of the page, despite the more muted colours in this combination.

If you haven't had a chance to pick up this great colour combination yet, make sure you head over to the store!!  And don't forget about the fun challenge going on this month

For more details on this layout, come on over to Scrappy Canuck Studios

Have a great week everyone!  Karen :)

Mobile Card with Trendy Twine

Hi Everyone!!! Candi with you again to share another fun project featuring one of my favorites, Chocolate Sprinkles! I just love this color combination, it can work for everything from sweet baby boy projects to modern decor as you saw yesterday with the fabulous vase created by Jessi.

I think you need to go buy a spool now since it is on sale, but if you'd like to try winning some first you still have plenty of time go enter this months Trendy Twine Challenge.

Are you ready for my project?

I created a 3d mobile card. I've used the yummy Chocolate Sprinkles twine to hang my little cuts, to embellish them, and to outline the windows of my card. It makes the perfect card to welcome a new baby, and looks adorable displayed in a nursery as well. I have lots of lots of photos and details on my blog if you'd like to come take a look: Chaos-n-Crafts

Don't forget we're only days away from a blog hop where Trendy Twine has joined up with My Thoughts Exactly to bring you a great surprise! Join us on Saturday to hop along!

Trendy Vase and Sticky Fingers

Happy Wednesday, Trendy Twiners! How are you liking the Chocolate Sprinkles projects so far? I know I have added some to-dos to my list of crafty projects!

So when I was told which twine would be spotlighted this month, my first idea was I wanted to make a twine bowl. My craft room is done in the blue/brown color combo. And I needed a small container to hold little buttons or embellishments for whatever project I am working on.

Well, lets just say after multiple tries, I finally gave up on that idea. But I still needed a container. So off I went to the craft store and came home with a small glass vase. After several twirls of twine and globs of mod-podge, here is my project:

It is time-consuming, but very simple to make! To finish the project, I wrapped Chocolate Truffle Twine a few times around and added the button. Viola!
Don't you just love the Chocolate Sprinkles color combo?! I do! Don't forget there is a chance for you to win this lovely twine! There is still plenty of time to join our September Challenge! Get the details HERE!

It's A Party!

Hi, everyone.  It's Izzy Anderson here on the blog today with a Design Team project using Chocolate Sprinkles twine, a fun mix of light blue and dark brown. This twine makes me think of sweet baby boy, so I made a festive card to celebrate a little one.

Trendy Twine is so easy to work with.  It's a great weight, ties nicely and doesn't slip. It was the perfect choice for these balloon strings tied in a tricky, tight spot on the elephant's trunk.

I have additional pictures and information about this card on on my blog, Write Snap Scrap. Stop on by!

If you'd like some chocolate sprinkles of your very own, you're in luck. It's on sale this month in the Trendy Twine store.  You could also win 50 yards of chocolate sprinkles by entering our challenge this month.  You can find all the details on this blog post. Thanks so much for stopping by!
