Trendy Twine Fall Gift Bag Card

Hello & Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends!

Today, I thought I would share a re-purpose idea that I had! 
I saw these beautiful Fall Gift bags at the Dollar Tree -

and thought... WOW! These would be beautiful on a card!

YUP! that's where I'm going with this...

Check out what I created --

So, to start I cut up the pretty gift bag - Then I sized it

to fit thru my sizzix machine where I used a Stitched Frame die

Then I had some DCWV Burlap paper and cut that down to size as well

I adhered them both together then I wrapped some

Orange Truffle Trendy Twine around the card front

I let that sit off to the side for a minute while

I used a couple different leaf punches I have with some

DCWV Fall designer paper and then I placed them on my card front

I knew I was going to use that sweet pie image from

the Perfect Pairs Planner Stamp set so I stamped

it on some Neenah solar white cardstock and colored

it with my Prismacolor pencils and some Gamsol

I used a Stitched Circle die to cut it out then I

die-cut another circle in brown cardstock 

I adhered both together and then I grabbed the 

Smile Stamp Set to add the Hello sentiment underneath the pie

I then added this to my card front using some dimensionals -

Once than was done, I attached some Fun Foam to the back of my card front

and adhered it to a dark brown card base -

I felt my card needed a little more, so I made a double bow and attached

it to the front of my card and then added some tiny sequins -

I'm super happy with how this card turned out and it's 

ready to go out in the mail to someone special!!!

Trendy Twine -- Grateful for You

Hello everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  Today I made a shaker card using the new Creamy  Pumpkin Trendy Twine.  All four new colors are so fun!  I also used the new Autumn Sequins Mix. 

This is my third shaker card and I think I am finally getting the hang of them.  I glued down my Creamy Pumpkin Trendy Twine around the outer circle.   The sequins also have some copper chunky sequins in with them.   The circle was a bit big and I probably could have added more sequins.  But I was being frugal :)  

I finished it off with a leaf that I stamped and die cut.  And then a double bow of my Creamy Pumpkin Trendy Twine.

APB Stamps- Autumn Greetings

 a few cards using the new Hello Fall stamp set

from Annie's Paper Boutique.

These new stamps are so cute! 

Perfect for Fall Holidays!!

I made two card with the new stamp set.

First, I took some Tim Holtz watercolor cardstock and heat embossed the images with

 Pirate Gold and White embossing powder. 

The first card, I used Pirate Gold embossing powder then 

used Distress inks and Markers to watercolor my images.

After I watercolored the images, I added some Wink of Stella clear glitter brush pen.

After that I added some gold splatters.

I love the sparkle and the pretty fall colors.

For my next card, I used white heat embossing powder and then colored the leaves with the Distress inks and markers.  Then I colored the background to help the leaves pop even more.

I wanted the leaves to look like they were blowing in the wind.

I added some Perfect Pearls mist for some pretty shimmer.

Close up of the card, hopefully the shimmer shows.

So soft and pretty!!

Hello Fall with the new APB Stamps

Hello everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  My project today is using the fun, new Annie's Paper Boutique Hello Fall Planner Stamp Set.  They are so super cute!

These are perfect for Fall and Thanksgiving and you don't just have to use them in your planner!  So I made a Happy Thanksgiving card to show you.

 

I stamped all four image stamps along the row of my paper and colored them in with my Zig Watercolor markers.  Then I lined up the Happy and Thanksgiving along the top. I also used some of the yummy new Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine and a few sequins from the Autumn Sequin mix you can find in the store.

The pattern paper is from DCWV that matched one of the stamps pretty well so I just had to use it on this card.  The top layer is mounted with some foam tape.  

Make sure to get a set of these fun stamps from the store in time for Thanksgiving!!
