Last-Minute DIY Pop-Up Gift Card Holders

Hello, crafty friends!

Guest Designer, Lisa here from LisaMensing.com.

Today I'm sharing a last-minute DIY Gift Card Holder featuring the gorgeous Cranberry Trendy Twine from the Christmas Mint Sampler Pack.

This DIY gift card holder is simple to recreate. Starting with a 4"w x 11"L piece of cardstock score on the 4", 5.5", and 7" score line. Fold in half, then fold on the two remaining score lines to create a 4"x4" card.

Place double-sided adhesive to the backside of the card along the scoreline, remove the paper backing from adhesive, and secure the two sections together to create the pop-up mechanism.

Mark the width of the gift card using a pencil.

I used a rectangle die and partial die-cut at the top of the pop-up mechanism to create the opening to slide the gift card into.

Score a 4" x 4.25" piece of cardstock on the 2" mark, fold in half, creating a 4.25" x 2" top for the gift card holder.

Cut pattern paper to decorate the card.

Stamp the sentiment from the Let It Snow Stamp Set

Use Cranberry Trendy Twine to add a tag to the DIY gift.
