Trendy Bakers Twine - Best Birthday ever...

Hi There!

This is Shelly from My Paper Love sharing a Birthday card using the spotlight Twine. I love these colors and love the spotlight twine this month Celebration Trendy Twine.  I wanted to make a universal card since I am always needing "boy" cards for my son's friends.  These colors are perfect for a universal theme!

I used a bunch of die cuts for this card and a cute stamp. I have had some of these products for a very long time so it felt great to use them.  I just used a square and wavy die cut to make the mats.

I embellished the stamp with Celebration Trendy Twine. I added some glitter glue to give it a little pizzazz without making it too feminine.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ Bacon and Eggs Card

Hello all and happy Tuesday!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with another project today.  This one features the APB We Go Together stamp set and APB Perfect Pairs stamp set.  I just love how sweet those stamp sets are!
I stamped the words from the APB We Go Together stamp set onto a Lemon Tag-It.  I stamped the bacon and egg from the APB Perfect Pairs stamp set on scrap paper, watercolored them, and cut them out with my Brother Scan N Cut along with a black shadow cut.  With the addition of a Pink Midnight Trendy Page Dot on top and a Black Licorice Tag-It under the Lemon one, my tag was ready for a card base.
The card front was created with watercolor paper and Distress Oxide inks in Black Soot, Fossilized Amber, and Candied Apple.  Once it was dry, I die cut it with a GMD wonky stitched rectangle die, wrapped Celebration Trendy Twine around it and adhered it to the card base.  I added the tags, a bow of Totally Red Trendy Twine and some Frosted Cranberry Sequins and enamel dots to embellish.

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ Happy Memorial Day

Today is Memorial Day, a day to remember and be thankful for all the service men and women who have sacrificed everything to keep our country free!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here, sharing a patriotic project that I created just for the occasion.
I started with a Kraft Treat Packet and stamped a star and stripes on it from Raisin Boat's Strokes of Pride stamp set.  The white stripes were stamped with VersaMark and embossed with white embossing powder.  The red stripes were stamped with Candied Apple Distress Oxide and the star with Faded Jeans DO.  Those inks show up great on kraft cardstock!
I tied Totally White Trendy Twine around the flap, added some buttons and finished it off with a small bow of the Totally White Trendy Twine.  I filled the treat bag with red M&M's...yummy!

Planner Friday - May

Summer is just around the corner and I can't wait!  Spring has been a mixed bag this year, we've had a lot of rain and even some snow this side of the pond so I am looking forward to spending time outside in the sunshine more than ever right now.  Today I thought I would document my ideal summer in my travellers notebook using some of my favourite APB stamps to really get me in the mood!

Products used:
Used but not pictured:

My perfect summer

So as you can see most of my favourite summer activities involve some kind of food!  Whenever I think of summer I always picture BBQs, ice cream and chilled glasses of wine, get togethers with family and friends and adventures!

I used stamps from the FoodiesDrinks & More and Perfect Pairs sets for the images in my spread and then coloured them in using pencil crayons.  The sun stamp was from the How's The Weather? set and I used yellow ink for that one so it would be nice and bright.

Then I used some stamps from the Choose HappyYou & MeDocumenting The Everyday #1 and #2 sets to add some quotes that remind me of summer to the pages!

Weekend plans

I used part of  Weekend stamp but I didn't ink the whole thing as I wanted to add an S to the end of it to make Weekends instead.  I love busy Saturdays followed by lazy Sundays especially in the summer!

What are your favourite things about summer?

If you fancy creating your own journalling spread then stop by the store now and pick up some stamps to get you started!

Trendy Bakers Twine -- You're Incredible!

Hello everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  Today I have a card using the Celebration Trendy Twine and some sequins from the Peppermint Icicle and Bumblebee Sequin Mixes.

I had so much fun designing this card.  Since this twine has a Disney vibe, I looked through my Disney images in my Cricut Design Space. These characters have a lot of layers to cut out, but I flattened her and printed and cut her out. Next, I decided I wanted the sentiment to say You're Incredible, so I found a font and had my machine write it on the front with a red glitter pen.

To add in the yellow color from the twine, I cut out a yellow starburst which is also from the same cartridge that Mrs. Incredible is from too.  Then I added my Celebration Trendy Twine above the sentiment and pop dotted up my die cuts.

The last touch was to add my sequins.  I pulled out my Bumblebee Sequins for the yellow and black and my Peppermint Icicle Sequins to add some red.

I think this turned out so fun! Keep checking back for more fun projects.

Have an incredible day!!

Of course these treats start with a GREAT little treat box from Annie Paper Boutique  the Small Pillow Boxes.

Next I filled them weth color coordinated candy.

I wrapped each treat with Celebration Trendy Twine and added the cardboard letter.

Trendy Bakers Twine -- Happy Treats

Hello everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  This month we are featuring Celebration Trendy Twine and the Clear Pillow Boxes.  I used the Medium Clear Pillow Boxes for today's post. Additionally, I used White Tag-Its, Choose Happy Stamp set, and Bumblebee and Peppermint Stick Sequins.

I had a cute sticker set from Recollections sitting on my table.  I thought they would be perfect for the colors in the twine.  Bonus--they are scratch and sniff stickers!  That was a surprise when I opened them.

Next I stamped my sentiments on my White Tag Its from the Choose Happy Stamp Set.  Then I added some yellow and black sequins from the Bumblebee Sequins Mix and red sequins from the Peppermint Stick Sequins Mix.

After filling the Medium Clear Boxes with candy, I wrapped my Celebration Trendy Twine around the box long ways a few times and tied a knot.  Then I tied on my Celebration pom poms that I made for this.

I just love these clear boxes -- they are so fun to fill and add some decorations to!

Be sure to keep checking in to see all the fun projects this month!!
